My first CD I bought was The KLF :No more and that song was on there, then there is a bagpipe version too and it makes your hair stand on end. Sounds from First Iraqi War in early 90's, radio charter, gunfire, missiles launching and aftershock sounds of bomb shels going of, fenominal stuff for that time, and the stereo is breath taking. The melenials have no clue on how far ahead this band was for its time.

He wrote that by the time they briefly reformed to do Fuck The Millennium they had become irrelevant, and had to resort to taking samples from Chemical Brothers tracks. They also had a hard time writing the melody for it as Cauty's sampler disks for 3AM Eternal had stopped working. So they sent a runner out to source a second hand copy of the original 12" so they could use their one solitary working melody. I really like them and the buzz about them at the time but they weren't the best, by a long shot. The people who raved about them at the time were the major music press. The underground dance scenes saw them as a bit cringeworthy; "house music for Top of the Pops" It was fun while it lasted, but we can't expect younger generations to give more than a passing fuck about people like the KLF.

I suffered a cultural sock with this song: free art, religious speech, rap, rock, classic, techno in same song, irony and seriousity in same song, video black full of action, the sexy girl behind the drummer... this video is complete essence of our world, we should send it to outer spaces! Who doesn't get it....
The track is ultra legendary but let's not mix in the commies or the cappies. I grew up in the west and still don't know what hit me with this specific track, I adored 6 am eternal, but that was a smooth understandable groove, and then this lol.
I was fortunate enough to have TV in those times (before 89'' ) , have friends and acquaintances with VHS video tapes ... so was not that shocking for me , but indeed was something different and i'm romanian too ...

The KLF came like a hurricane in my life, in the beginning of the 90 th. I liked each single song, this energy is not comparable to other songs and projects. And so quick they came, they were gone. Unforgetable music, thank you for that. My personal favourite is: Last train to trancentral !

I remember having a KLF tape circa 7th grade circa 1991! Timeless music, if this came out today I'd probably lose my mind. Alas nothing's this interesting (to me).
In my mid 50's and about 20 years ago 3 of my friends died, all seperately within 6 years of eachother..my late teens and early 20's were the best time of my life. I didn;t do anything constructive but my friends became my adopted family and showed me a life I missed, I felt safe and it was full of fun. We all went to crappy dives and this song really became one the best songs to remind me of that era. Blessed.

KLF: America - What Time Is Love? What a great Dec. 2020 updated version of a timeless classic techno dance track that had originally been released in 1989, albeit 30 years ago. Really surprised that KLF are still active as a band after all this time.
America what time is love was only released in America, the original called what time is love was the main version everywhere else and is the better version.
It's awesome to see Lord Buckethead and Count Binface doing good for the world all that time ago. But in all seriousness, this woke up a lot of nostalgia. Unsurprisingly was up at 3am listening to this too. Love this.❤

I have loved this video since the first time I watched on MTV. It reminds me o sort of mix between mythology and middle-aged novels.
