- Trailer for the movie "Þetta er ekkert mál" (Larger Than Life) the documentary about Jón Páll Sigmarsson the worlds strongest man. This video is much longer than the normal trailers and it shows you a much better image of how this great movie really is. In the video you can hear Geoff Capes, Bill Kazmaier and Gary Taylor talk about Jón Páll. The famous strongman referee David Webster, who was a good friend of Jón Páll, talks about his opinion on Jón Páll. You can also hear from Hermann Gunnarsson (Hemmi Gunn) a famous Icelander. This movie "Þetta er ekkert mál" is a masterpiece and Hjalti "Úrsus" Árnason, Jón Páll's old trainer, did a fantastic job by making it.

Right on! Jon Pall was the greatest human being ever! He is my hero and he will live on forever through his performances and within our hearts and memories!
I was deeply inspired by Jon Pall in the 80s when I started weight lifting. I would be awe inspired by him on tv. He put Iceland on the map. Jon Pall is the viking!

I wouldn't say that about Garry, he just looks more like an average man now but that's because he was never a giant in the 1st place. All of the strongman from that era are legends and hero's, Sigmarsson will be forever missed and forever remembered! May his memory live on within us all.

wow, absolutely amazing. Jon Paul is treated like a hero in Iceland. I got a question for you europeans, How is the sport of strongman viewed there, and how are the strongman treated, i.e. (sports player, celebrity status, etc)?
He is my hero... always will be.
There isn't a certain band who plays the music. Just some guys who got together to play the songs that were written for the movie about Jón Páll.

The Icelandic company Sena is working on releasing the film in the USA on DVD. You shouldn't have to wait for too long for it.

I don't know whether you can download it but it's going to be released all around the world. I don't know if the movie has been released in the US or in Europe but I sure hope so

Palli átti afmæli 28.apríl 2022.hefði orðið 62 ára. Flottur ef hann hefði lifað, samt enn á lífi því hann er svo sannur sjálfum sér. Ég elska hann út fyrir líf mitt alla leið.
