So every time you press reset, a new random pattern is generated? How does this work? Sorry I'm a little new to this.

Just Press Start/Stopp + Clear Button both in Write Mode . This will give you some random patterns.

Thanks! Its simple, the TD-3's clock is synced via MIDI to my daw on the computer.
