@@jorisvoorndj At first glance it’s ticking all the acid boxes. Except battery acid. I think this is the first time I’ve seen a 303 that wasn’t covered in battery acid and had a bunch of holes drilled in it for questionable mods.

@@MACRONOne ‘To label me is to negate me’ IMHO Genres are only convenient if you are in a record store or on Beatport. We had pitch controls on record players and CDJ’s in the 90s. Pitch something up or down +/- 8 and you end up in a different genre 🙃

I am sorry to tell you (even though there is nothing wrong about it), in my opinion, the brains of the performance must be controlled by a sequencer such us ableton, because one of the downsides of hardware is also that you only have two hands.

There is no reason to start this pointless argument of DAWless vs DAW, whatever works works, and music is either good or bad subjectively regardless of how its being made or performed. The main point of OP was minimalism, and not falling into the trap of possibilities. Just because you have the option of and can use gazillion automations on a computer doesn’t mean you should. Constraints are sometimes the engine behind great art imo
