  • This video starts as we leave Canyonlands National Park - Islands in the Sky headed back towards Moab, UT. Just before we get to Moab, we turn onto Utah Highway128 and follow the Colorado River northeast.

    very cool , are you a ham I see the little antenna? I love your videos. it is been a few years that I was out in co. and wy. around the rocky mts.a long ride from pa. to go camping and fishing around Jackson hole and Yellowstone wy.thank you dale n3reb.

    Just curious, what camera did you use? What video editing software did you use? I really like how clear the video is.

      Thank you for your feedback and interest. I used a Gopro 2 camera and Power Director as my editing software.

      By the way... North of monument valley, there is valley of the gods. Enter from highway 163 for best views. There is one low spot where there may be water but it is usually shallow and passenger cars cross it easily... hit it at about 20 mph and keep going... you are in and out.
      The road eventually runs out at a paved road (highway 261). You will be denying yourself one of the most beautiful places to view scenery if you do not turn right and drive to the top of Moki Dugway. The view is even better driving back down.

    Liked the Vid, good steady drive thru awsome county, what speed did you maintain? 30 or 40 MPH?? that paint on your hood? what happened to it? oh. this vid would have been much much better with some music, please learn! just subscribed

      it is music for your eyes - if you really need the music, play your own in another window and mute the speaker on this one... there could be problems for him with licensing playing music, too.
