F-Zero is one of those games that could never be done to satisfaction. The game genre is one that was really great in 1992 to 2002, but now technology and expectations for games have kind of made these sorts of games niche. I think a similar thing happened with space shooters, they don't seem to excite people any more, even though some of them are extraordinarily good.

But beyond our options on the quality of individual games, it's been a lot longer between titles for F Zero than it has for Pokemon or Mario. You could make the argument that Pokemon or Mario is played out, but you couldn't say that about F Zero.

@@raikoumaster3210 I don't think the Switch could really run it will unless they downgrade the graphics however I don't give a crap about graphics so I'd be more than happy with that compromise if it means being able to play Halo on the go or on your back in bed. However I doubt there's enough of a market on Switch interested in playing Halo to be worth developing a port as opposed to to a cloud version of Game Pass which requires basically zero development costs for Microsoft to deliver yet a ton of profit and good will from gamers.

Not everybody is necessarily interested in the Master Chief Collection, but by bringing all Microsoft's exclusives to Switch (and other games that aren't available natively on the console) through xCloud for a reduced price like $5 or $7.50 you'd cover a wide range of genres and get a lot of people willing to shell out a few bucks a month for unlimited access to well over a hundred (maybe even two hundred) major games they'd never be able to play otherwise.
What if in BotW2 the underground is a huge dungeon, and you find roadblocks that force you to go back to the surface to unlock new abilities that allow you to explore deeper underground?🤔 A Zelda Metroidvania where you're forced to go back-and-forth between the surface and underground, and each underground stint unlocks more of the lore.

They could literally release a new DLC expansion for MK8DX, adding 12 new tracks, six new characters, and maybe a new mode, slap a $20 price tag on it and make out like bandits. Never made sense to me why Nintendo didn’t release paid DLC for that game. Seems like such a missed opportunity and a LOT of missed revenue.
Shin Megami Tensei 5 was revealed in 2017 and we haven't had gameplay details yet. Then we learned about the recent leak from the Japanese website and it's release date appears to be on November 11th for this year with the synopsis. So I think Bayonetta 3 might get some news this year to get a release at the end of this year or next year. For Prime 4 I think we might get news next year just to make sure that they are closer to the release date.

The switch pro won’t be called the switch pro because there already is a pro controller. This would make people believe that the pro controller is only for the switch pro.
Switch Pro also seems too technical from Nintendo, yeah we got the Nintendo 64 but that was a different Nintendo and it was a new console, they are probably aiming for the XL or something similar(please don't be "New Nintendo Switch")

The initial release date for Bayonetta 3 was 2019. It wasn't teased in the trailer, but they had this initial slate of games with planned release dates and it was 2019. I don't think development is going that smoothly =')
@It’s all Fun and Games 7 years? Bayonetta 1 was released in 2009 and Bayonetta 2 in 2014. On top of that, the franchise struggled to find a publisher until Nintendo bought the IP so I assume the development was more in the 2 to 3 years max.

Why haven't I heard that idea until now? That sounds great! Similar style to Super Mario RPG but with all his powers, elemental types. You'd have to prioritize sucking up an enemy to get one power to exploit the weakness of other enemies in the same battle.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is like, the default bundle with the Switch. So it only makes sense that Mario Kart 9 Maximum or whatever it's called will be bundled with the "New Nintendo Switch Pro".
@Jav GH I have a feeling it will just be a port with the new mii maker. I couldn't imagine what they would do with a sequel, Tomodachi Life kinda just is what it is, there isn't any story to follow. Even Miitopia, which is a way more logical candidate for a sequel, as it actually has a story, didn't get one on Switch, it just got a port. That's why I don't have much hope for Tomodachi Life 2, but if Nintendo does have an idea on how to evolve the Tomodachi Life gameplay formula for a sequel, I would love to see it. As long as whatever we get has the core gameplay features, facets, and aspects of the original game, combined with this new and more vibrant mii maker, I will be happy. What I mean by this is I am looking for the humorous interactions of Tomodachi Life 1, with the character creation tools of the more versatile mii maker.
BotW2 will finally allow us to explore water along with new water related runes. What's underneath Lake Hylia? Maybe a skyloft area as well plus dark world with full temples back into the zelda formula.
I just hope that the game takes place 5yrs later or so and some of the towns has grown and you keep everything like master sword and instead of the horse the motor bike is the way you get around.

I’m just trying to think of what they’ve done in the past. In the past they’ve revealed really good things of course, 2018 had smash, 2019 had botw 2, but overall they’ve only had a few really big new titles every year. I expect only 3 or 4 really good titles with everything else being alright. I’m guessing botw 2 (only makes sense) I don’t think splatoon 3, I think they will want to wait a little longer; bayonetta 3 or Metroid prime 4 only, I doubt they will show both. I also don’t think they will show the Zelda compilation quite yet, I think they’ll wait til fall and don’t want botw 2 to overshadow it. I don’t think they want to show the compilation before botw 2 because they already tied us over with age of calamity last fall. They won’t show a new 3D Mario game or pikmin because it’s too soon, but it’s possible for them to reveal a new 2D Mario game, but I’m unsure because there are already 2 2D Mario games on the switch. They won’t show new Mario kart because 8 is doing really well, I could only see F-zero being shown if it was a remaster, but I don’t have much faith in that. They won’t show kid icarus uprising HD or 2 because sakurai would help with that but he’s working on smash bros. Speaking of which, I think both smash characters will be revealed and 1 will make the internet upset because it will be a new Pokemon and 2 will either be a decent character or a REALLY good character that most people will love. The Pokémon smash fighter will ironically enough be more fun than the more popular one but the more popular one will still be pretty fun to play. I do think it’s been long enough for a new Kirby game that people will play and will enjoy a decent amount, but some will complain that it is either too similar and basic to previous Kirby games or it is too far away from the formula of regular Kirby. Mario golf and builder garage will of course get mentions, along with skyward sword, but they will be somewhat brief but not too brief. They will also reveal the dlc for age of calamity that not very many people will buy, but the dlc will still be seen as “pretty cool”. Next they will show some third party games with most people thinking “alright I don’t care show botw 2” but there will be 1 third party game that will be ported to switch which will make people go “wow, they really did that?” And it will sell decently on switch, what that one will be could be GTA V, red dead redemption (1 and/or 2) or ghost of tsushima. Pokémon arceus, which will take up a bit more time which will annoy people because they just want to see botw 2, but after the direct people will think it looks really good. That FF7 phone game faithful remaster will be shown for switch, making people happy that square Enix and Nintendo are still being good buddies with each other. No more heros will be shown, and will have another weird trailer as they did with previous ones, and the game will do better than the other games in the series. Super Mario Party 2, with it being released with online from the start and MAYBE more boards, some pretty good additions and a wacky character to the roster that will rival chain chomp from tennis and plant from smash bros. It will come out and people will say it’s better than the first super Mario party but still isn’t as good as previous Mario parties, but will say it’s another step in the right direction. Animal crossing update will be shown, it will be played and people will enjoy it, and it being in e3 the update will be a decently large update that people will of course say that it’s something that should have already in the game. There will be another fun skit that may or may not have something to do with an upcoming game, and Doug bowser will make an appearance again but they won’t do that bowser bit again. I don’t think they will show a new switch pro, it’s possible but I just don’t think so. I think they should because it would be a decent business strategy, but I think they will focus just on games. But this one I’m very 50/50. A new fire emblem will be shown and released later down the line, when it’s revealed you will notice people on the twitch chat and TH-cam chat saying “Zzzzzz” and posting the residentsleeper emote on twitch exclusively. But when it releases it will be well received and will have a higher budget than three houses. Now I’ve gone through a lot, and obviously this list probably won’t be the most accurate, but I think it’s a fair list. Not everything on this list will be shown as it is too much and if Nintendo is consistent with something they are consistent with not giving us everything we want, and honestly I think I am being too optimistic so when I watch the direct I will keep my expectations low. But the one thing I want more than any other game besides botw 2 is a new Mario and Luigi game made by a different studio, with it being in great HD 3D, it will release and be well received but bowsers inside story will still be called superior by die hard fans. So overall, this will be a pretty decent direct. There will be some things that disappointed some users, including the new character and some other games that people won’t care about, but with botw 2 and maybe bayonetta 3 people will make people say Nintendo won e3 solely because of that.
I don't think Sakurai will direct new smash bros game, because I don't think Sakurai would make smash ultimate if Mr. Iwata didn't ask him to. It's like his last wish, so Sakurai has to do his best.

I truly doubt it will be Waluigi, during the fighters pass 2 Sakurai made two statements that basically mean that assists cant be playable. (Spring Man not being able to be the ARMS rep and Bomberman being a Mii Costume)
Waluigi is actually the perfect final character cause it means that it could bring omega hype and, if he's the final character, Sakurai wouldn't have to fill in requests for other assist trophies to become fighters

I remember being really interested in Ever Oasis when it was first revealed but it didn’t come out at the right time so I would definitely check out a remaster on Switch.
The reason why they kept the U in New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe is because it is a re-release of the Wii U game! If they took it off, people would think it would be the DS game, Spawn!
I could see a collection of Knights of the Old Republic 1 and 2 bundled together, especially if a new one gets announced for the other consoles as well.

The initial release date for Bayonetta 3 was 2019.
It wasn't teased in the trailer, but they had this initial slate of games with planned release dates and it was 2019.

@It’s all Fun and Games 7 years? Bayonetta 1 was released in 2009 and Bayonetta 2 in 2014.
On top of that, the franchise struggled to find a publisher until Nintendo bought the IP so I assume the development was more in the 2 to 3 years max.

Why haven't I heard that idea until now? That sounds great! Similar style to Super Mario RPG but with all his powers, elemental types. You'd have to prioritize sucking up an enemy to get one power to exploit the weakness of other enemies in the same battle.

@Jav GH I have a feeling it will just be a port with the new mii maker. I couldn't imagine what they would do with a sequel, Tomodachi Life kinda just is what it is, there isn't any story to follow. Even Miitopia, which is a way more logical candidate for a sequel, as it actually has a story, didn't get one on Switch, it just got a port. That's why I don't have much hope for Tomodachi Life 2, but if Nintendo does have an idea on how to evolve the Tomodachi Life gameplay formula for a sequel, I would love to see it. As long as whatever we get has the core gameplay features, facets, and aspects of the original game, combined with this new and more vibrant mii maker, I will be happy. What I mean by this is I am looking for the humorous interactions of Tomodachi Life 1, with the character creation tools of the more versatile mii maker.
BotW2 will finally allow us to explore water along with new water related runes. What's underneath Lake Hylia? Maybe a skyloft area as well plus dark world with full temples back into the zelda formula.

I’m just trying to think of what they’ve done in the past. In the past they’ve revealed really good things of course, 2018 had smash, 2019 had botw 2, but overall they’ve only had a few really big new titles every year. I expect only 3 or 4 really good titles with everything else being alright.
I’m guessing botw 2 (only makes sense) I don’t think splatoon 3, I think they will want to wait a little longer; bayonetta 3 or Metroid prime 4 only, I doubt they will show both.
I also don’t think they will show the Zelda compilation quite yet, I think they’ll wait til fall and don’t want botw 2 to overshadow it.
I don’t think they want to show the compilation before botw 2 because they already tied us over with age of calamity last fall.
They won’t show a new 3D Mario game or pikmin because it’s too soon, but it’s possible for them to reveal a new 2D Mario game, but I’m unsure because there are already 2 2D Mario games on the switch.
They won’t show new Mario kart because 8 is doing really well, I could only see F-zero being shown if it was a remaster, but I don’t have much faith in that.
They won’t show kid icarus uprising HD or 2 because sakurai would help with that but he’s working on smash bros.
Speaking of which, I think both smash characters will be revealed and 1 will make the internet upset because it will be a new Pokemon and 2 will either be a decent character or a REALLY good character that most people will love.
The Pokémon smash fighter will ironically enough be more fun than the more popular one but the more popular one will still be pretty fun to play.
I do think it’s been long enough for a new Kirby game that people will play and will enjoy a decent amount, but some will complain that it is either too similar and basic to previous Kirby games or it is too far away from the formula of regular Kirby.
Mario golf and builder garage will of course get mentions, along with skyward sword, but they will be somewhat brief but not too brief.
They will also reveal the dlc for age of calamity that not very many people will buy, but the dlc will still be seen as “pretty cool”.
Next they will show some third party games with most people thinking “alright I don’t care show botw 2” but there will be 1 third party game that will be ported to switch which will make people go “wow, they really did that?” And it will sell decently on switch, what that one will be could be GTA V, red dead redemption (1 and/or 2) or ghost of tsushima.
Pokémon arceus, which will take up a bit more time which will annoy people because they just want to see botw 2, but after the direct people will think it looks really good.
That FF7 phone game faithful remaster will be shown for switch, making people happy that square Enix and Nintendo are still being good buddies with each other.
No more heros will be shown, and will have another weird trailer as they did with previous ones, and the game will do better than the other games in the series.
Super Mario Party 2, with it being released with online from the start and MAYBE more boards, some pretty good additions and a wacky character to the roster that will rival chain chomp from tennis and plant from smash bros. It will come out and people will say it’s better than the first super Mario party but still isn’t as good as previous Mario parties, but will say it’s another step in the right direction.
Animal crossing update will be shown, it will be played and people will enjoy it, and it being in e3 the update will be a decently large update that people will of course say that it’s something that should have already in the game.
There will be another fun skit that may or may not have something to do with an upcoming game, and Doug bowser will make an appearance again but they won’t do that bowser bit again.
I don’t think they will show a new switch pro, it’s possible but I just don’t think so. I think they should because it would be a decent business strategy, but I think they will focus just on games. But this one I’m very 50/50.
A new fire emblem will be shown and released later down the line, when it’s revealed you will notice people on the twitch chat and TH-cam chat saying “Zzzzzz” and posting the residentsleeper emote on twitch exclusively. But when it releases it will be well received and will have a higher budget than three houses.
Now I’ve gone through a lot, and obviously this list probably won’t be the most accurate, but I think it’s a fair list. Not everything on this list will be shown as it is too much and if Nintendo is consistent with something they are consistent with not giving us everything we want, and honestly I think I am being too optimistic so when I watch the direct I will keep my expectations low.
But the one thing I want more than any other game besides botw 2 is a new Mario and Luigi game made by a different studio, with it being in great HD 3D, it will release and be well received but bowsers inside story will still be called superior by die hard fans.
So overall, this will be a pretty decent direct. There will be some things that disappointed some users, including the new character and some other games that people won’t care about, but with botw 2 and maybe bayonetta 3 people will make people say Nintendo won e3 solely because of that.

Waluigi is actually the perfect final character cause it means that it could bring omega hype and, if he's the final character, Sakurai wouldn't have to fill in requests for other assist trophies to become fighters

I really do believe Sakurai when he says Fighter's Pass 2 is it, like, the way he's worded it, he's incredibly adamant that these are the last 2 characters not just of the pass, but entirely.
