The most hilarious play ever performed. I was right up front and could see the emotion, the desperation, the actors not laughing...er trying not to laugh. Amazing
Great show for any fan of Peter Pan, as well as the original novel. Its use of simple props blows my mind, and I loved the breaking of the fourth wall thing. Great show!
I wish that there were more actor-centered productions like this one on Broadway, and fewer spectacles, where the actors can be plugged into roles but the scenery/lighting/effects are what the audiences remember. We need more Off-Broadway on Broadway. Get rid of the tens-of-millions-of- dollar budgets. Make ticket prices more reasonable. Make tours more feasible. Yeah for "Peter and the Starcatcher"!
Went to see it... It's incredible. Wonderful use of simple props, and all the actors worked together to form the scene and the all around awesomeness of the show. Also, well done Christian Borle, spectacular performance!
When I saw this show in Theatre camp last summer, there was a storm outside after the show so we sat in the theatre while waiting for the buses. Adam Chanler Berat actually walked across the stage and waved at us! It was the best day of my whole summer xD
It's technically not a musical, according to a lot of online resources, and Celia Keenan-Bolger (Molly) even said so. There's a score (one of the few from a non-musical to be nominated for a Tony) and some singing, but it's essentially a play
It's a play, not all actors are good at accents. The one I saw last night they did the accents perfectly, even Peter, since according to the story he was an orphan with no name who lived in a dark place in London.
I mean... because it is a play you'd think they would.. a musical i mean i guess i understand but only while singing. They are also on Broadway so you'd think... they put time into it
Great lines one after another, laughed through the whole play. If you missed something the next line would make you laugh harder. Oh My God was hysterical.... Still sand! So many one liners ..... Sorry you've made your bed, Pan!
Saw this show at new world last Sat. Loved it. And the actors that played the main roles seemed much better than the ones in this clip. Maybe it's just me though. Also, Smee and pineapple licker ( forgot his name :\ ) were great too. Long live Black Stache!!
Is there a good filmed version of it somewhere ? Bootleg/tutorial or professional film ? (i mean, these bits are in high quality, is there the full thing somewhere ? ANYWHERE ?). or even a normal bootleg you know... I'd love to see this in any way i could, so if anyone has any info it'd be real nice of you :)
th-cam.com/video/V4-615c2-Gc/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/ztlQAB5SAbI/w-d-xo.html I don't know if you've found these already cause 3 months ago but these ain't professional but you gotta do what you gotta do.
Just saw the play in Little Rock AR. The actors were good! Especially Hook but the play itself wasn't what we had in mind. Everyone was disappointed walking out.
He flies to London, yes, but Molly is from London. Where is her accent? That's what I'm saying, they don't have accents. Peter wouldn't, but Molly should.
Tiffmidon Hi, I’m five years late, but the cast chooses to speak in their regular voices at the beginning of the show, as they have not yet got themselves into character. It’s a directorial choice which has carried from show to show.
Because the story is English, haven't you ever seen Peter Pan? He flies to London. This is the story before he becomes a boy forever and lives in Never Never Land.
I saw this production on Broadway on my last visit to New York. I found the play silly in dialogue and too slapstick in its presentation, so I left the theatre during the intermission. The show will never reach the West End.
Christian Borle is INCREDIBLE in Peter and the Starcatcher!!!! He is such a scene stealer!!!
Christian Borle is so fantastic.
I'm not even surprised that every other scene has Christian.
Well I mean he did earn the Tony Award for this role...

Who doesn't love Christian Borle! He's so amazing!
That's one impressive mustache on Christian Borle...LOL
need more high quality clips of borle as black stache 😢😢
Went to see it... It's incredible. Wonderful use of simple props, and all the actors worked together to form the scene and the all around awesomeness of the show. Also, well done Christian Borle, spectacular performance!
They play very convincing children, believe me, this is one of the best plays I've ever seen.

This show was amazing. "STARBUCKS? WHAT'S STARBUCKS?" xD
I read this book sometime in middle school and loved it, this play (with music!) looks fantastic :)
Give the Tony to Christian Borle!!!
PLEASE!?!?!
Just saw this in Minneapolis last night. An amazing show!! Funny for all ages!!
At Theater latte da?
Celia, Adam, and Christian… MY heart
When I saw it Peter's understudy was on stage and he was phenomenal!
He's just all like "BITCH I will cut you."

I recognize Christian Borle from Legally Blonde as Emmitt!!!
I just want to see captan black stash lose his hand again!
yessss! but i can not find it!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's not on youtube :C
Mind The Gap link?
I saw last week and the play got extremely dark and gritty in some scenes! There is even a beating scene.
I watched this at the royal and durngate theatre and it was amazing
absolutely AMAZING!!
A fantastic show
My school is doing this for our spring show, we just ended our fall show and now I'm sad
I'm in the California High School Premier for this show! so excited!

th-cam.com/video/ztlQAB5SAbI/w-d-xo.html here’s one
perfection!!!
christians mustache is sweaty😦
This needs to come to London! It would be a hit!
I love all the breaking of the fourth wall. haha. 'People have paid for nannies and parking!' hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahaha
They sang a few songs, but I wouldn't categorize it as a musical.
I read this book :) A must read for all Peter Pan fans!
I'm going to see this next week! :D

Long live Black Stache!!
I saw this with a different Peter and Black Stach and they were incredible! I wouldn't have changed them for anything!!
Ii loved this had me laughing all the way
This looks amazing and hilarious... but as someone who has read all of the books, this confuses me greatly 🤣
Is there a proshot of this?
I MET ALL THE ACTORS!
No recording?
Pirates freaking rock.

Come to London! Come to London! Come to London!

Personally I would've chosen this over Newsies...I LOVED Peter and the Starcatcher.

LOL at the Ayn Rand line XD
So my school is doing this show and I'm cast as slank, man I'm evil
Done! =D
Well, if you insist...
because Legally Blonde was just as succesful and MTV broadcasted it while they didn't this show.
Why are they adults? Isn't that the whole idea of the story? They're supposed to be children!
i'm sorry that his moustache is so short. in the book, its nearly a foot long. and i wish they didn't make it a musical... but its pretty good
ok, why is legally blonde the musical on youtube BUT NOT THIS!
Olive Ostrovsky.
(check)
DONE. (:
