    I just want to leave this comment here for anyone that has lost their period or suffer from amenorrhea that simply eating more protein and strength training is not healing. Eating disorders and amenorrhea is common in body builders and other athletes when the body is under a lot of stress from over training and malnutrition. Your body will need proper nutrition with sufficient amounts of carbohydrates and fat along with enough rest to bring your stress and cortisol levels down ❤️

      So glad you pointed this out. Whether we like it or not we need body fat to keep our reproductive system going and ovulating, and no eggcell means no period! Our bodies want to have enough fat in store to support pregnancy at any moment and they don't care if we're not planning on getting preggo 😄 they follow their own, primeval script

      Yeah this diet is still quite restrictive especially for such a tall person. Ive never seen such a tiny waist before.

    I like this video☺️but one thing i dont understand, why would you put the potatoes in cold water to remove the starch but then add starch anyway, and even with oil? If you could just put a bit of oil on them and it will make them nice and crispy just like that🤔

    I stopped watching you a few years ago when I learned I had an E.D. and needed to be choosy on what content I consumed. I was always worried you had disordered eating habits yourself so I'm glad to see you are eating more for your energy and your goals have changed to hormone health and vitality. :)

    I would make all of these but add some more carbs. Essential for muscle bulding, too. For example some sour dough with the salad. Or just some more quinoa 🤤

    Isn't it weird we remove the starch from the potatoes with ice water, and then add corn starch to make it more crispy? Haha I do it myself, just realised that?? Anyways thanks for amazing ideas and recipes Sanne! Everything looks amazing 😀

    Yes. I snack when I cook. I snack on a piece of chocolate, marshmallow or two, maybe a few chips or a biscuit. Whatever junk I might have around. I think I've only ever snacked on a carrot when I couldnt get the last piece through the grater haha 🥕

      Need to think holistically, mind body and spirit. Mostly modern day living and stress cause disruption to hormonal systems. A well-rounded diet that includes lots of iron-rich foods and limits sugars, caffeine and processed junk is best. Sleep well, stay in touch with natures rhythms (sunlight, seasons, etc) and paying attention to your body is what is needed to allow it to do it’s thing, build up/renew monthly and if in reproductive years, do what would be needed to reproduce. We need to stop thinking about our bodies as machines that solely need specific inputs like fat, protein, carbs etc. @@AlexisBelon

    Hi Sanne :) I enjoyed this video a lot, I currently try to have more protein as well. But this is not easy when living the Vanlife! We don't have a fridge or freezer, but with plant protein and some protein packed take out now and then, it is actually possible :) have a great day!

    Hello Sanne! I was wondering what you feel about evening /night workouts. I notice that you usually work out in the morning or during the day. But what about those busy days where you just didn't have time for it until about 9 pm... I often get very unsure then and ask myself if I should just go for a round of pilates, or is it just too late now and it's more bad than good? I would really like to hear your opinion on this 😊

    Did you have trouble with bloating and how did you handle it? I feel like I get so bloated when I dont follow my food intuition which doesn't help with my body image 😢

      Just a friendly reminder it is natural and nearly impossible to “not bloat,” but some things that have helped me with this are eating and chewing your food throughly and slowly!

    I’m a dietician and actually you should be eating 0.83gr of protein x your weight (so if you’re 60kg, then your protein intake should be at 0.83 x 60 = 49.8gr) so being under 100gr per day is good. I would like to know why you said you were under the protein intake ?

    I'm also trying to get my period back . I lost it due to extreme dieting and exercising. I'm a bit underweight. I've read that we need to increase fat in our body to get our menstrual cycle back.
    So does it matter if it's muscle or fat?...since u got ur period back by gaining muscle?

    Hello Sanne thanks for the video.
    I struggled with ED and lost my period. I gained weight, muscles and a little bit of fat but I still don't have my period back.
    Any advice? I'm not too stressed in general and my body fat percentage is around 18%.
    I don't want to gain any more weight or fat but I want to get my period back.

      I'm in the same boat. I gained back the weight to the weight I was when I last had it back in early 2022 and I have maintained that weight for the past 5 months and I still haven't gotten it back.
