I think Tears of the Kingdom refers to those 7 magatama jewels around the carved figure we see at the beginning of the trailer. Those are probably what you collect from dungeons, assuming they are coming back. Perhaps it's similar to Link to the Past's crystals with the maidens trapped inside. Maybe "tears" also has a double meaning with literal sadness. Or maybe the spoiler is a connection to the Silent Realm's tears.

My biggest complaint with octopath 1 was how disconnected the stories felt from each other so the fact they're having the stories intertwine is supper hype.
It amazes me how many people see "Tears" in the Zelda title and don't immediately think of the Tears of Light from Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword. If the name really IS a reference to those, then there's a ton of story implications and spoilers we could potentially draw from that.
Exactly, especially since we now can see the logo has the master sword in 2 designs and everything they have shown us looks like it has a lot of ties with Skyward Sword.
"Tears of the Kingdom" is a spoiler because Zelda dies. This is probably also where the time travel mechanic plays a role in the story. At a certain point when you see the wall carvings at the beginning, you can clearly see zelda laying sideways at one point, and remember in the first teaser trailer we see her falling into a dark hole in the caves
I think that must be Ganon. You can see some malice either coming out of the figure or reaching for the figure. If this where botw Zelda dying, the figure would have her clothes, traditional dress or short hair.

Octopath Traveler 2 is such a huge shock to me. I thought OT is gonna be stuck in a mobile game for eternity and HD-2D titles will be focused on brand new game and classic remakes (still eyeing on FF5 and FF6 HD-2D remake) And OT2 looks *soo* good and they really adressed the issue with OT1, especially with character interaction. Man i'm hyped, Octopath is like my favorite JRPG of all time (I'm gonna miss OT1 cast soo much lol)
Why does everyone want classic games to all be remade in that same style? I love FF6 and I want it to get a remake that really shows it off but I feel like making it look like that would be so...streamlined. it would look like so many other games.

And imo, a lot of the charm of FF6 came from it's pixel styled graphics, which is why HD-2D games are being praised on the first place Even tough FF6 in 3D and same style of FF7 would be good... do you really want it to be that way? being cut off into different parts, extremely heavy game, took a long time to develop, etc. If anything a 3D FF remake should be focused on the PS1 games rather than SNES

Octopath II looks amazing, they fixed the 2 main criticisms from the first game and fixed them. Stories now intertwine and it's coming to PC and PS4/PS5 (possibly day 1). Seems like we will be getting mounts like the boats and horses to get around the world faster too! Hopefully it still has the depth in the job system and has secret jobs you can find (maybe more than 4 this time).
The only thing I can think is that Nintendo considered that title art to be the spoiler with the ruined Master Sword being half made out of the strange energy/runes and not the name of the game itself.
I don't think they held off on the title for spoiler reasons. It took a long time for them to reveal Breath of the Wild's title, it was known as Zelda Wii U for the longest time.

Honestly I think they just did not know if they were going with a new title or just BOTW 2 when initially creating the game and decided to not start the trend of “legend of Zelda: blank 2”. Sorta like Pokémon where after BW2 they never did direct sequel games again.
Basically every mainline Pokémon game is a sequel to the others since they're in the same timeline (Masuda can miss me with that "mega timeline" shit--if he wants to write crappy sci fi he can do it it in another series)
I'd say the reason Rune Factory looks like a PS2 game? It was released on the DS back in 2009, so thats why it looks as such, just like Rune Factory 4 looks like it does, was a 3DS game in 2012 :)

Obvs super excited for Zelda. I will say Gravity Rush did the seamless clouds to floating cities thing half a decade ago, and with more vibrant colors/etc. So I am def looking forward to seeing more gameplay that shows off more of Hyrule. We all knew the graphics would be a little crunchy still tho lol.

Tears of the kingdom means= a KINGS KINDOM so GANANDORF WAS ALSO A KING OF THE DARKNESS, so it means that territory belongs to GANONDORF. Even if the story of 100 years back from hyrrule Warriors, but that's what it means.

Rewatching you blow your voice out for Octopath Traveler II was a BIG MOOD! I finally got around to playing through it, and it’s been fun (though the difficulty spike was a rough patch, but that might just be me). So getting an official sequel announced today was perfect, LOL! IDK where to start with guessing what Zelda TOTK or Pikmin 4 will each bring. I'm guessing the Mario Movie will have its own direct either later this month or in October. I don't know for sure about a trailer but at the very least, I'd expect a teaser then. I highly doubt that they'll wait until the Game Awards just to show anything from it since Illumination typically, from what I understand, releases trailers in the fall

Honestly I think they just did not know if they were going with a new title or just BOTW 2 when initially creating the game and decided to not start the trend of “legend of Zelda: blank 2”. Sorta like Pokémon where after BW2 they never did direct sequel games again.
Basically every mainline Pokémon game is a sequel to the others since they're in the same timeline (Masuda can miss me with that "mega timeline" shit--if he wants to write crappy sci fi he can do it it in another series)
I'd say the reason Rune Factory looks like a PS2 game? It was released on the DS back in 2009, so thats why it looks as such, just like Rune Factory 4 looks like it does, was a 3DS game in 2012 :)

I will say Gravity Rush did the seamless clouds to floating cities thing half a decade ago, and with more vibrant colors/etc. So I am def looking forward to seeing more gameplay that shows off more of Hyrule. We all knew the graphics would be a little crunchy still tho lol.

Tears of the kingdom means= a KINGS KINDOM so GANANDORF WAS ALSO A KING OF THE DARKNESS, so it means that territory belongs to GANONDORF. Even if the story of 100 years back from hyrrule Warriors, but that's what it means.
I think they changed the title last min and it was Tears of the Godess , I think the being in the stone carvings is non other than Hylia herself.
I think the spoiler is the logo, not the title necessarily. With the broken sword and the two dragon heads and all that

I'm guessing the Mario Movie will have its own direct either later this month or in October. I don't know for sure about a trailer but at the very least, I'd expect a teaser then. I highly doubt that they'll wait until the Game Awards just to show anything from it since Illumination typically, from what I understand, releases trailers in the fall
