This is cool! I wish there was a way to watch all of the actual scenes of the MCU all the way through in chronological order like this. Kind of like the "watch in order" option they have on Disney+, but cut up and combined all together as one gigantic video.
This is epic and cool on so many levels. The characters, the events, the Infinity Stones, the Ten Rings, and everything involving the MCU was included. I love this so much.
If only Peter had gone to Dr. Strange and just asked him to make everyone on Earth forget Quentin Beck ever existed then everyone would have forgotten it was him who revealed Peter Parker was Spider-Man, but sadly Peter didn't think of that either and the actions he and Dr. Strange took afterwards resulted in the mulitverse.
@@ishmellnelson7911 yeah, She brought the neighbors, while Strange's spell invited them as guests. Infinity Ultron was an invader. Wanda was listening "through the windows" for variants of her kids
Whoooboo been waiting for this updates timeline for a while now. Nice job Looper / loves how you included the Netflix, the Agents of Shield and Hulu shows into this 😁 although Legion was not mentioned and Helstrom😁it’s all good this was super condensed🙃
Legion was never part of the MCU and Helstrom is very debatable ( I barely made it through the first episode....more importantly, I'd rather see a more accurate adaptation of the character in the MCU )
I don't like how non MCU canon shows were included in this. Was looking forward for a pure MCU timeline but that didn't happen. With Runaways, Daredevil, and Agents of Shield being some examples of popular non MCU canon shows
I can't believe they mentioned the runaways and cloak & dagger but completely skipped wanda's back story from the cold war to her experimentations on hydra. (Loved the video tho!, no hate)
also skipped the Kree experimenting on humans to create the first Inhumans, including Hive....and though the wider MCU has yet to acknowledge it, SHIELD was re-legitimized thanks to the Sokovia Accords and presently has Alfonso "Mack" Mackenzie as director.
I can't believe this was the 12th search result for "can someone explain the Marvel phases to me" , really it should be at the top #1! it's perfect for me, thank you!
Makes you wonder about the whole "zola took over shield" doesn't it? I mean cap went back to be with Peggy, but Peggy still worked for shield and cap KNEW about Zola at that point.. So he could have prevented ALL of civil war really. Not only that, but once back there in time... He never went after Bucky??? To stop him from "getting all that blood on his hands"??? Some very ODD things pop up when you stop to think about endgame's END.
i think he didnt do that since he knew that would create disturbances in reality, or maybe he was just tired of all the fighting and wanted to let things pan out the way they did for him, knowing they will pan out that way and he will always come back to peggy in the end, so cap didnt bother much
my fan theory as to how the X-Men could join the Marvel Cinematic Universe: keep First Class, Days of Future Past, Apocalypse, Dark Phoenix, Deadpool 1 & 2, New Mutants in the Marvel Cinematic Universe timeline as there is a massive gap between 1963-1995 with the Dark Phoenix cast appearing in Deadpool 1&2, these films can happen after the events of Dark Phoenix and since Essex Corps is referenced in New Mutants, this could happen in the Dark Phoenix timeline after these events, Professor X uses Cerebro to convince the world that mutants don't exist and erase any new mutant activities from people's minds whenever one is witnessed. however the only person who knows is Nick Fury, who agrees with Professor X to keep tabs on any new mutant activity. this is also referenced in a deleted scene from Iron Man 1, when Nick mentions X-Men the X-Men can work in secret between 1992 up until Endgame. when Tony Stark snaps his fingers, the mind stone reverses the effects of Professor X's actions. resulting in the public now remembering who the X-Men are as for Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch, Hydra's meddling with the mind stone prematurely reversed Professor X's actions, as it was mentioned that the mind stone unlocks dormant abilities already present in the brain my theory brings the Dark Phoenix X-Men cast into the MCU, thus eliminating the need to recast the entire X-Men team. the actors are young, they've expressed interest in returning and continuing their roles. it's an option for Marvel Studios to do that I've explained my theory to a lot of people, most of whom say it works. others say it won't work and demand i should forget everything about the Fox X-Men films and be happy with what Disney/Marvel Studios are going to do with the X-Men I will probably receive a lot of negative feedback about my theory, nothing is set in stone, if Marvel Studios can bring back JK Simmons as J Jonah Jameson, why won't they bring back the Dark Phoenix cast? there are multiple websites that support my theory, along with the Iron Man 1 deleted post credit scene. not only that, something similar happened in the comics (Robert Reynolds/Sentry and Gabriel Summers/Vulcan) since Days of Future Past rewrote the timeline, X-trilogy/Wolverine trilogy no longer take place as the ending to Dark Phoenix doesn't connect to the original trilogy, leaving it open for possible future sequels. as I mentioned, the Dark Phoenix cast could return and continue
Given that this delved into Agent Carter territory, it should have also covered how Hydra was originally an ancient cult-based organisation, a la Agents of Shield.
What I want to know is how does hela destroy mjolnir ? Just because she once wielded the hammer does mean she has the power to destroy it? Thor wielded it probably longer then hela herself and he was surprised by that too.
@@laras678 the hammer is just a Vessel, tool. Thor is just as powerful with or without it. Just like Caps shield, honestly he could probably utilize any object like that.

About 8 months ago I saw this video in my recommendations. But I hadn’t *really* followed the MCU in detail. I’d seen maybe half of the movies, and only the “Agents of Shield” TV show. So I embarked on a quest to catch up by watching everything out so far in chronological order. Well, there are now so many TV shows and specials that I just haven’t been able to watch ALL of those. But I am finally caught up to all the movies and the main TV spin offs and so now I’m back to watch THIS TH-cam video. Hopefully I am prepared now!!!
Nice work! I enjoyed how u showed how the characters were connected to the main story. I wish u would have included a suggested movie watch list in suggested watch order in your post. I have seen some of the movies, but primarily as standalones. In either case, nice work! 😁
So Thanos of 2014 was snapped away in 2023 and since he wasn't returned to the original time line, Thanos never collected the Infinity stones. Thus none of this happened.
not how time travel works they adressed that in endgame. you cant change your past because your past will become your future which means the past you time traveled to is now an alternate universe
Think of it like this if you go to the past and kill your father before you were born that doesnt mean you will just disapear because that will mean you never went to the past to kill him in the first place. So that means you can kill your dad but it will split off into an alternate timeline where you were never born but in your timeline you were born. so that timeline where they killed thanos will be an alternate reality where none of it will ever happen and it doesnt change anything for their timeline because changing the past doesnt change the future

Im pretty shure the events of (Iron man 2, Thor, and incredible hulk) are all in 1 week in 2011 (same week they found caps in ice).... With that (Iron Man) would takes place in 2010 since its 6 month before the opening of 2 Also...(civil war / black widow / black panther / and homecoming) all take place within 3 to 4 months in 2016
Couple of things: - Odin didn't kill Laufey during the Asgardian/Frost Giant War. Laufey dies in 2010 by the hands of Loki. - The Grandmaster is not immortal, he can be killed. He just doesn't age. - The S.H.I.E.L.D. is not just a renamed version of the SSR. S.H.I.E.L.D. is a completely different organization that absorbed a lot of what the SSR was doing. Additionally, S.H.I.E.L.D. was created in 1949, not in the 80s. - The Soviet government didn't control the Winter Soldier, Hydra did. The men in charge of the Winter Soldier were Soviets, but they worked for Hydra. - Thanos didn’t decimate Xandar right after the events of Guardians of the Galaxy. He waited until 2018 and got all of the Infinity Stones in a very short time period in order to prevent much resistance or time to gather against him. - Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2 takes place 3 months after the first Guardians of the Galaxy, not concurrently with Civil War and Doctor Strange. - Ned was the only classmate who found out Peter was Spider-Man in Homecoming, it wasn’t several classmates. - Homecoming and Black Panther take place shortly after Black Widow, not in the timespan of 2017. - The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is in 2024, not immediately following the blip. - SWORD wasn’t a new agency in WandaVision, they just hadn’t taken much of a center stage in a plot before. Great video!

Thank you for all the hard work you put into researching and researching and explaining the MCU
TH-cam: how many non-skippable ads do you want?
Looper: YES!
This is why the MCU is light years better than the DCEU. The time Marvel took to introduce and develop each character is the difference.
#Eric Henderson yes it is. But it is also the amazing connections and Easter Eggs in this timeline and the exact match to world history since WWII. Sekovia is Serbia. Clinton and the USA were sanctioned just like the Avengers for killing civilians. It’s mind blowing if you really know the metaphors for every hero.

THANK YOU, I GET SO ANNOYED WITH PPL SAYING I.M. IS IN 08 WHEN Really ITS IN 10. I.M 2 IS 6 MONTHS AFTER I.M.... THOR AND HULK AND I.M 2 ARE ALL REALLY HAPPENING SAME TIME. In civil war vision says Tony has been I.M. for 8 years which is INCORRECT and in homecoming the title card says 8 years later after THE AVENGERS and it's really only 4!!! FFS

Incredible, with the amount of marvel live action films we have access to, you summed it all up well. If I could give a medal I, I would.
This was a really great break down Looper !
I didn’t need it, but I really enjoyed it !
@4:20 - Fought Malekith by Thor, the Father of Odin??
I think he meant to say Thor, the Son of Odin lol
This is cool! I wish there was a way to watch all of the actual scenes of the MCU all the way through in chronological order like this. Kind of like the "watch in order" option they have on Disney+, but cut up and combined all together as one gigantic video.
Searching for "MCU: A Chronology MK18" is a good ideia.
@@mr.knight3677 link?
@@mr.knight3677 Wow thanks that is amazing!
i havent sat through a 45 min vid in so long but this was worth it
This is epic and cool on so many levels. The characters, the events, the Infinity Stones, the Ten Rings, and everything involving the MCU was included. I love this so much.
Hands down best breakdown video I seen n u didn’t make it boring
If only Peter had gone to Dr. Strange and just asked him to make everyone on Earth forget Quentin Beck ever existed then everyone would have forgotten it was him who revealed Peter Parker was Spider-Man, but sadly Peter didn't think of that either and the actions he and Dr. Strange took afterwards resulted in the mulitverse.
HISHE is on it
They would still remember that Peter is Spiderman they would just forget who said it
thats not how the spells of cothcor works
Umm... Sylvie is the reason for the multiverse.
@@ishmellnelson7911 yeah, She brought the neighbors, while Strange's spell invited them as guests. Infinity Ultron was an invader. Wanda was listening "through the windows" for variants of her kids
Even being a very old mcu fan, the way this video has explained the timeline.
absolutely blew my mind! like everything is connected.
Legion is about Mutants and part of X Men timeline
Helstorm used to be apart of the MCU and the Marvel name, but was revoked of both names due to its strong occult themes.
I don't like how non MCU canon shows were included in this. Was looking forward for a pure MCU timeline but that didn't happen. With Runaways, Daredevil, and Agents of Shield being some examples of popular non MCU canon shows
@@Fourmath daredevils literally canon no cap
It's very rewarding watch this. So... every year you guys have to update this documentary because this has become a work in progress.
I am thoroughly impressed with this MCU timeline explanation. Well done!!
Bedankt
I can't believe they mentioned the runaways and cloak & dagger but completely skipped wanda's back story from the cold war to her experimentations on hydra.
(Loved the video tho!, no hate)
also skipped the Kree experimenting on humans to create the first Inhumans, including Hive....and though the wider MCU has yet to acknowledge it, SHIELD was re-legitimized thanks to the Sokovia Accords and presently has Alfonso "Mack" Mackenzie as director.
Also skiped isaiah brdley (sorry if i butchered his name) part when he was the first black captain america and fought bucky
I can't believe this was the 12th search result for "can someone explain the Marvel phases to me" , really it should be at the top #1! it's perfect for me, thank you!
Love it you did a awesome job.
WOW.
Crunch time.
🤣🤣🤣
Great job loopy
BTW the funniest scene in the MCU is the Hulk mopping the floor with Loki.
Hands down
Makes you wonder about the whole "zola took over shield" doesn't it? I mean cap went back to be with Peggy, but Peggy still worked for shield and cap KNEW about Zola at that point.. So he could have prevented ALL of civil war really. Not only that, but once back there in time... He never went after Bucky??? To stop him from "getting all that blood on his hands"??? Some very ODD things pop up when you stop to think about endgame's END.
i think he didnt do that since he knew that would create disturbances in reality, or maybe he was just tired of all the fighting and wanted to let things pan out the way they did for him, knowing they will pan out that way and he will always come back to peggy in the end, so cap didnt bother much
As Strange would put it, that would destroy the fabric of reality and time
Remember, changing your past doesn’t change your future.
I enjoyed every moment of this, I felt like it shouldn't end😂❤
We are going to need a new one after the Multiverse of Madness so much will be changing in the timeline lol. Might as make this a yearly series lol!!!
We have a yearly timeline update for Star Wars, so why not Marvel? These two are one of the biggest franchises thats gets expanded continiously.
Can you turn this into a movie watch order please? I’m trying to rewatch them in order. 🙏
i've seen all those movies and tv shows and i STILL learned something haha. crazy.
helps when the main contribution of the films are put in perspective of everything. lots of details just fly over our heads
I agree about the decontamination being the poison.
my fan theory as to how the X-Men could join the Marvel Cinematic Universe:
keep First Class, Days of Future Past, Apocalypse, Dark Phoenix, Deadpool 1 & 2, New Mutants in the Marvel Cinematic Universe timeline as there is a massive gap between 1963-1995
with the Dark Phoenix cast appearing in Deadpool 1&2, these films can happen after the events of Dark Phoenix and since Essex Corps is referenced in New Mutants, this could happen in the Dark Phoenix timeline
after these events, Professor X uses Cerebro to convince the world that mutants don't exist and erase any new mutant activities from people's minds whenever one is witnessed. however the only person who knows is Nick Fury, who agrees with Professor X to keep tabs on any new mutant activity. this is also referenced in a deleted scene from Iron Man 1, when Nick mentions X-Men
the X-Men can work in secret between 1992 up until Endgame. when Tony Stark snaps his fingers, the mind stone reverses the effects of Professor X's actions. resulting in the public now remembering who the X-Men are
as for Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch, Hydra's meddling with the mind stone prematurely reversed Professor X's actions, as it was mentioned that the mind stone unlocks dormant abilities already present in the brain
my theory brings the Dark Phoenix X-Men cast into the MCU, thus eliminating the need to recast the entire X-Men team. the actors are young, they've expressed interest in returning and continuing their roles. it's an option for Marvel Studios to do that
I've explained my theory to a lot of people, most of whom say it works. others say it won't work and demand i should forget everything about the Fox X-Men films and be happy with what Disney/Marvel Studios are going to do with the X-Men
I will probably receive a lot of negative feedback about my theory, nothing is set in stone, if Marvel Studios can bring back JK Simmons as J Jonah Jameson, why won't they bring back the Dark Phoenix cast?
there are multiple websites that support my theory, along with the Iron Man 1 deleted post credit scene. not only that, something similar happened in the comics (Robert Reynolds/Sentry and Gabriel Summers/Vulcan)
since Days of Future Past rewrote the timeline, X-trilogy/Wolverine trilogy no longer take place as the ending to Dark Phoenix doesn't connect to the original trilogy, leaving it open for possible future sequels. as I mentioned, the Dark Phoenix cast could return and continue
Great video. Please keep updating after regular intervals
Given that this delved into Agent Carter territory, it should have also covered how Hydra was originally an ancient cult-based organisation, a la Agents of Shield.
It was based around bringing an ancient creature called Alveus back to Earth
Way to go! This has to be the best MARVEL timeline I've seen. Anyone who needs to catch up just got lucky.
What I want to know is how does hela destroy mjolnir ? Just because she once wielded the hammer does mean she has the power to destroy it? Thor wielded it probably longer then hela herself and he was surprised by that too.
Possibly Thor was capable of destroying Mjolnir as well. It just never would have occurred to him to try.
@@laras678 the hammer is just a Vessel, tool. Thor is just as powerful with or without it. Just like Caps shield, honestly he could probably utilize any object like that.
@@robertcohen5256 I realize that. It doesn't change my theory that Thor probably could have destroyed Mjolnir if he'd tried.
What about Wanda and Pietro’s childhood that was directly impacted by Tony Stark? When she came in direct contact with an infinity stone? 😕
Irrelevant
@@E.M.A.Dcomics It's irrelevant how the Scarlet Witch came to be, but totally relevant that Ben Parker was killed by a robber Peter Parker failed to stop--a scenario that was never shown, and might not even be the case in this universe?

About 8 months ago I saw this video in my recommendations. But I hadn’t *really* followed the MCU in detail. I’d seen maybe half of the movies, and only the “Agents of Shield” TV show. So I embarked on a quest to catch up by watching everything out so far in chronological order. Well, there are now so many TV shows and specials that I just haven’t been able to watch ALL of those. But I am finally caught up to all the movies and the main TV spin offs and so now I’m back to watch THIS TH-cam video. Hopefully I am prepared now!!!
This was exceptionally well put together, wow.
This is amazing work
This video is more entertaining than the movie Captain Marvel.
Wow!! Epic rundown, looper.
Nice work! I enjoyed how u showed how the characters were connected to the main story. I wish u would have included a suggested movie watch list in suggested watch order in your post. I have seen some of the movies, but primarily as standalones. In either case, nice work! 😁

Omg I loved and needed this. Thank you!!!!
So Thanos of 2014 was snapped away in 2023 and since he wasn't returned to the original time line, Thanos never collected the Infinity stones. Thus none of this happened.
not how time travel works they adressed that in endgame. you cant change your past because your past will become your future which means the past you time traveled to is now an alternate universe
and in loki they explained that alternate timelines are called "variants" that means thats not our thanos thats a variant of thanos
@@glocktop916 he and his entire army and gone is gone. He left his timeline and never went back.
@@honiswagner7674 yeah that made an alternate universe for his reality doesnt change the present reality because thats not how time travel works
Think of it like this if you go to the past and kill your father before you were born that doesnt mean you will just disapear because that will mean you never went to the past to kill him in the first place. So that means you can kill your dad but it will split off into an alternate timeline where you were never born but in your timeline you were born.
so that timeline where they killed thanos will be an alternate reality where none of it will ever happen and it doesnt change anything for their timeline because changing the past doesnt change the future
cant get a better explanations thn ths so thnks ma man..keep it up G
You guys forgot when Thanos went to retrieve his gauntlet from eitri the dwarf!!!
Bro u guys killed this!! Thank you
I would love to watch a disk set playing every scene of every movie and show , including post credits in chronological order...
I started watching all these in Jail well i watched iron man years ago but i truly started watching then 18mths ago in jail and ive only seen about 14 movies so i havent seen many outa the 40+ sumthing and ive seen all new ones so i sorta new alota of the story but this just made my night now ima go start watching them all in order cheers blud
Im pretty shure the events of (Iron man 2, Thor, and incredible hulk) are all in 1 week in 2011 (same week they found caps in ice).... With that (Iron Man) would takes place in 2010 since its 6 month before the opening of 2
Also...(civil war / black widow / black panther / and homecoming) all take place within 3 to 4 months in 2016
A perfect way to know that week timeline id say in what if they show you the days of each event
Couple of things:
- Odin didn't kill Laufey during the Asgardian/Frost Giant War.
This is great video, even if you already watch some of the movies. It will help you to connect all the dots together
