I’m one of those people who things Tempo doesn’t perform well on them, but it sounds like I should be asking people around me what they think!
I was at Neiman’s Sunday to purchase Byredo Eleventh Hour and Sisley Eau du soir and I happed to spray this one on my wrists and I love it. This will be my next purchase and love the ruggedness of it and I’m a female.
it's so cool to see how our unique noses and skin chemistry can perceive fragrance. for me, tempo smells like a freshly showered and elegant patchouli scented hippie. i'm a lady, and i love this one for myself! haha
Humorous story you told about getting separated in the store and finding him by following your husband’s scent trail. I have a 10ml sample of Tempo and I like it OK but not as much as some other patchouli scents in my collection (Profumum Roma’s Patchouly, Jovoy’s Psychedelique).
Nice comparison video. I haven’t heard of/smelled Lingno. I wanted to like Tempo because of the social media hype around it and the fact that I like the bottle. I sniffed it without knowing the notes and it made me gag! The mystery is solved : it has patchouli in it and I am NOT a fan of that note. Thanks for sharing this video 💕
I enjoyed this as always, Yve! I love comparison videos, and it’s especially interesting to get your take on your husband’s collection. Him being into dirty patchouli’s make me curious about his take on some of the 70’s & 80’s powerhouses. Does he get into vintage?
I really really love Tempo. It's a patchouli but it's brightened up by the mate tea leaf, bergamot, and violet leaf. I would describe it as medicinal, dry, calming. I would recommend this to someone who wants to explore the note of patchouli without being scared off. It's very refined and approachable. Also the Tempo bottle is wayyyyyy cooler than the Ligno :' )

Patchouli is one of my top 5 favourite notes. I've not tried either of these but I sampled tons before recently opting for Psychedelique by Jovoy. I love it's rich chocolatey note🍫. There's so much good patchouli out there; it was so hard to choose. TBH my favourite patchouli is a cheapie by Reminiscence (go figure)
Psychodelique would've been a great one to do a comparison with Ligno (they're a little similar) but i need more time to test it out. I do like it and I think it's such an awesome example of a patchouli fragrance! For some reason my husband doesn't like it, but hasn't shared why.
Tempo: It’s just smells like wet cardbox in rain. I wish it was something better. As a guy I can’t smell like dirty wet cardbox laying out in earth after rain

I have had Tempo for a while. Have given it many wearing. It just doesn’t last. And it’s the EDP.
But I love the smell.

Ligno is the first I've tried from the house! I'll have to dig out my samples from Jeroboam. Tempo is such a patchouli bomb!

Thanks Mario! He likes Chanel Antaeus, but doesn't seem to like a lot of other classics. He tends to gravitate towards newer smelling fragrances
