I think it’s the best video i’ve ever seen on my life. I love you’re chapeau and tuyaux for the wardrobe.

Great tips. Loved your work from home tips. I once read in a French book that in Paris they have a saying (I need to write it in English but it sounds better in French, of course). Parisians need to go out every day " to see and be seen". After putting on their Parisian Chic outfits they don't want to laze around home all day where no one can see them. What a waste of an outfit. So, every morning they go out for their daily bread (baguette and croissant on the weekend only) and coffee. I guess that concept ties in with your comment.

You are amazing at conveying the importance of fashion, not just as a means of self expression (which is extremely valuable in its own right), but also as a tool to help you reach your goals in life. I think the latter is the part that people who "don't care about fashion" often miss. For better or worse, clothing matters and everyone judges everyone, even subconsciously, based on appearance. It's best to just accept that and work with it, because you're only hindering yourself if you don't.

As an HR manager I have to deal with employees who don't follow the dress code. This was an excellent video!

I work in a male high security prison and dressing appropriately to look both polished, approachable yet not shape revealing can be frustrating in the mornings

Lauren! I would love to see you dress in these examples! Was hoping you were going to do that for the dress code break down. Wouldn't that be fun. Show all the sides of Lauren. Business, dressy, formal, etc. Fun!

I have a pretty unique job, at least when it comes to the dress code. I am a lab director for a small biotech company. There is no real dress code except to be covered up! How do I dress professionally for this position without being too over dressed for a lab environment?

Just found you and binged watched your videos all day 🙈 I'm a mom and a teacher and find I dress very "kid friendly" without meaning to since I'm actually more of an edgy classic (thanks for the video!) I'm Tired of workout leggings and target tshirts to be thrown up on. my question is : how can you have an upgrade mommy look? How can you look put together and still be able to comfortably go to the park? Thanks!

my crazy dress code story: i'm a teen so i haven't really had a 'work' dress code yet, but once an employee at a trampoline park told me my shorts were too short, even though i would wear those shorts to school all the time, and no one ever told me they were to short at school.

I'm more of a formal person, because I have less trouble deciding upon an outfit that's more professional in times of being employed as I previously mentioned to you before in the "Dining Out" segment that you uploaded on TH-cam. BTW, you remind us a little bit of 👩🏻‍🎤, Jordin Sparks-Thomas. I've got plenty of work clothes at home which were ordered online. 👍🏻 if you strongly agree.

Hi Lauren, thanks for the great video. Can you also address how to dress and properly represent yourself on video conference (a telework 2days a week and dress up just in case of an impromptu video chat call, also how to dress for skype or video interviews since more companies are doing those these days too. Thanks 😊

I worked at a talent agency, and the dress code was business formal. I don't have a crazy story, but there was an HR lady who would check to make sure all the employees were dressed appropriately and would go around the office looking. I remember one girl left her house without thinking and forgot to change from her flip flops to work shoes. It's a funny story, because she had to spend all day hiding behind furniture because she didn't want to be sent home to change her shoes!
