Though after watching TardisTimegirl's excellent 3D animation of ALL the missing episodes of " Wheel" here on TH-cam, these BBC 'cartoons' look a bit sad by comparison. Still: better than nothing ( which is not really the compliment I would like to give).
Can't wait for it like you guys said almost there for the daleks master plan there might do a box set for two so like mission to unknown and with dalek master plan and called it the master plan set I think the only bit I don't like for this missing story coming out is the 1st doctor face to me it don't look right glad we getting another one for William and Steven final story 😊
It does not look as good as Macra Terror, Faceless ones or Evil of the Daleks but I am glad we are back to the 2D animation. I far prefer it to the 3D animation
I think this story is great. Ian Stuart Black was ahead of the time as a writer. This has the possible to be a Macra Terror re appraisal. It’s usually forgotten about but it has a ‘small but active fan base’ (Luke will get the reference). As for the animation, I’m with Luke on this. The flat animations with no atmosphere or visual style are not my thing. I haven’t finished Underwater Menace or watched Celestial Toymaker yet. I’m not completely off the train but if this is a disappointment I might be. However I’m happy the animations at least mean the stories are more widely seen. I do prefer telesnap recons though now as well as the Target novel which is great for this. I do miss the Macra Terror or Faceless Ones style but I don’t miss the Fury From the Deep style. That was horrible
This is such a great story, of course like all fans I've only heard the audio but even in that format I really enjoyed it.
