First thing I notice: you are playing a Froggy Bottom guitar. I once visited Michael Millard in his workshop in Vermont and wrote an article about him and his gorgeous guitars for German "Akustik-Gitarre" magazine. Unfortunately that has been the only time so far that I have been in Vermont apart from passing through. It´s a wonderful place I would like to visit more often.

Michael: like you, Michael Millard’s remarkable attention and skill as a guitar maker connected us, but very quickly we became friends, best friends, and then brothers. Should you make it over the pond again, we’ll hope to all meet. And if I get to Germany, I’ll try to give you fair warning. I, too, wrote a profile of Michael for the Fretboard Journal a few years back. Small world, eh? Fielen danke!
