Hello, the one with the removable blade is a clicker knife which you can get from most places I think, I got mine from Abbey England. The other one is my main knife, its a single head knife I had custom made but you can get some really good ones from George Barnsley and sons, I have 4 of them for use on my courses. I think Abbey sells them or you can go direct. They need a lot of work to start with but once sharp they are really nice knives 👍
It's a Head Knife; a similar knife with two points is called a Round Knife; they are traditional leather workers knives You can get them from CS Osborne and George Barnsley and Sons - Search Google for these suppliers or the knives themselves A lot of time & effort, and therefore cost in making these knives is in getting them very sharp, so traditionally, to keep the price down, they come with only a basic cutting edge, and you must do the final sharpening and polishing yourself However, once you've done that it only needs a minor sharpening or stropping to keep them in good condition Search TH-cam for 'sharpening a round knife' and 'sharpening a head knife'. There are several videos, including one by JH Leather
Very nice product and great instructions. Could you share where you got those dividers that you used to mark your stich lines, please? It looks to be very heavy duty.
Hi Tom, I got them a long time ago from a tiny shop in Enfield. I think they may be engineering dividers so that would be a good place to start your search. Sorry I can't be more helpful, Jo

Is the grooving you redid at the end for decoration or is it functional?
The crease line/re creasing at the end is purely for decorative purposes 👍
That straight edge (ruler) with the curved middle, where did you get this from? I love it! Cheers!
It's a Maun safety ruler, I got mine from Abbey England but I think they are pretty easy to get hold of elsewhere if you do a quick search.
