I have a camera that I shoot with macro shots and Sony A7S2. I think I'm good at the leather business. I would be glad if you take a look at my work. th-cam.com/video/Yefl0ZDijBY/w-d-xo.html
Yup this guy is amazing and it's not only about the camera , i tryied to make a video myself but my hands look strange when i work leather, that gets people nervous. But he gets me oddly satified!
This is awesome. I love how TH-cam is showing me things like this. It knows I need a new hobby. Art restoration... leather working. Your work is absolutely beautiful.
another illustration showing that while having sophisticated gear can help - the care, craftsmanship and taking your time paying attention to detail matter more!
I was recently searching how to repair leather because I stupidly left a box of my Dad's memorabilia out and my Dog snuffed through and ripped up my Dad's 50 year old wallet. I was heartbroken. After looking at videos I found little king goods, the whole vibe is so....unique. I made a job of repairing my Dad's wallet but now I want to make my own. It's funny how things happen for a reason. Just wanted to say thank you for the inspiration.
Your work is very inspiring. Your craftsmanship is by far the most cared for. I have been watching yours and Peter McKinnon's videos for some time. Your videos are so Zen and create a place that makes you want to be there. Please keep up the good work as we all know small business ownership can be tough.
I love how precise and meticulous you are which clearly comes from hard work. I can see your items are made with care and love. This is where the value truly comes from. Keep up the great work Ryan.
Did anyone else find themselves holding their breath during parts of this video? Maybe it was jut me. Wow, the painstaking, meticulous craftsmanship is amazing man. I think we see so little of this kind of work these days, that its a treat to witness it here. Thank you for your work. "A thing of beauty is a joy forever." ~ John Keats
You are truly an inspiration and a craftsman. While it must be a challenge to create videos that are as of high quality as your leather work, you manage to do it. Thank you.
I saw your video with Peter McKinnon. You have a new subscriber. My daughter used to make leather goods many years ago. I have sent your channel link to her. You spend a lot of time making your TH-cam videos. I appreciate your work. Thanks.
Thanks for the awesome video, Ryan! I learnt some things and am glad there isn't unnecessary happy talk. A bit here and there is fine though, but I don't care for long videos with too much talking. :)
Hand made?? But you use machines? 😆 great work , its funny to me how people can talk down on a maker for using modern tools !!! Yes its hand made , i didnt see the “machines” do anything without the makers hands . I have never walked into my shop and caught my sewing machine making wallets without me ..
Little King Goods exactly!! Keep up the great work bud ,ill keep getting up at 530 am,drinking coffee and watching a guy in another country sew a chunk of cowhide !!!
Its cool/fun to create leather goods with hand tools, reminiscent of the "good old days". The problem is that its hard to make a living competing against mass produced, cheap, junk. Most consumers don't see the difference outside of price. Anything that can quicken the process and not affect the quality makes the end product more affordable. If he hand cut all those pieces, and saddle stitched them all, the wallet would be 3 times more at a minimum. Hard to sell a wallet for $300 when a similar style can be bought off the shelf for $50 or less. The wallets he makes will last a lifetime with a little bit of ❤.
@@markcowan3366 I would not disagree with anything you have said, it needs a purchaser to appreciate handmade goods. However, using machines and then stating it is handmade regardless if this is to demand a higher price or respect for a handmade product is in my eyes dishonest at best. "Handmade is better" is the company tag line!
I could never build along. But, I could purchase one, if they are for sale. The detail is impeccable! This is a wallet I could use for years and years!
Oh ! you have such wonderful tools ! I dream to have these for my own bag making workshop. I have no place to put these anyway ( and no money) so I guess my little portable barracuda walking foot will have to do for a while hahaha :) Wish I had your clicker, tho... would be a great time saver . Nice Channel. I'll make sure to follow you for great leather working tips :D
Good Grief that’s Gorgeous! 😉 Absolutely LOVE the use of different colors-always think that looks amazing. Very cool design and I just love your style and videos!
sublime, I started to fall in love with leathercrafting, Thanks a lot for your process mate, keep up the good work. and I sincerely hope to stumble upon one of your goods one day.
Lmao I dont get ads and that's him putting the ads in if your getting them.. you may work but youtube is s career as well.. and ads is one of many ways how these youtubers get paid so stop.."trippin" over some ads
I really love watching your videos. I'm starting to buy my tools, one at a time. And soon i'll make some leather crafts too. Thanks for the helpful ideas.
hi, lovely work. can i ask you what glue are you applying? the contact cement im applying is very sticky and make a mess every time, your´s look a lot cleaner. thanks in advance ^_^.
Dude! First off It's amazing how much time goes into your craft. I came over after watching your video with Peter. I started to watch and I couldn't look away. Interesting how the silence draws you. I love this bro. Keep em coming. Oh by the way! I would love that keychain!
The outcome of this project is awesome but i appreciate videos like these if they are using only hand tools instead of machines for cutting, stitching etc.
Engrossing DIY TUT!!!! When I put on ma leather, and rock to sum Metallica, Delta Parole, Foo Fighters or the Smashing Pumpkins I feel like I can do anything in the whole wide world.
This was the first movie on your channel that I've seen.... and I watched it intently the whole way through without blinking (pretty much). I love how there are no distractions with fancy music or video tricks. Just clean and raw! Well done my fellow Canadian. Keep up the awesomeness! Much respect for your skills.
Not everyone can do everything. I learn everything watching mostly on youtube, but before youtube saw the products and made my own way and it was as great as I make now. He doesn't stitch by hand, because most of the time go for stitching by hand and burnished edges.
Just a suggestion from someone who has very little leathercraft knowledge but a bit of usability experience I think a button or clasp to keep it together might make it more usable. Again no worries if thats not your thing :) Love the work thought!
Hi.. Peter sent us here. He was right.. there is no music no speech..but it's so engrossing that I didn't realize I watched 13 min video.. too good

Well, at least I know why leather merchandise aren't cheap, particularly perfect leather wallets like that. Man, I want to make one of those.
