Just a quick Public Service Announcement: If you see the CRAWL! Expansion location cards at 22:38 they are missing the Action Hex Numbers. This is an error that the designer has been made aware of, so be sure to look up the errata!
Nice! I'm glad Lemon is supporting this world and game. It was fun nostalgia to play it when I did 5 years ago. Almost sad I'm about to give my copy away to a friend at Essen this week. Otherwise, I would have loved to explore these expansions! Keep exploring!
Back-to-back videos of brilliant games, Daniel. I love Rob’s art, colors, and graphic design sense. I wasn’t aware Dark Venture had expansions and a 2nd edition. Congrats on the design credit.🎉
Hi. Received this a few days ago, probably backing it as a result of seeing it on this channel. I did not appreciate you were responsible for improving the solo game experience, so cheers for that. Its a really interesting game once you see how it all fits together (talking about the base game plus small expansions); initially the idea of taking enemies and characters into your hand is a little strange, but it offers interesting possibilities. Really appreciate having two games in one too, once you get over familiar with A, simply switch over to B!
received my copy! this is an amazing project, but have to admit, a little intimidated by it, lol! going to need a solid chunk of time to really get to know this one
Well, the solo rules in the 2nd edition incorporate my own solo house rules, so I think they're pretty good. The expansions themselves don't really change anything in the solo game, just added more stuff to do.
Man, I wish the art was different. I totally understand this is the creators vision and I respect that, but I really cant stand the art. Im glad its successful though!
@@RobOngrui as english is not my first language, I dont really know how to describe it. The art is too.. scribbly? Too chaotic? Im glad others like it but I really cant look at it.

Oh, thank you! Really good to know. Appreciate it.
Where do I find the errata listed???
Such a wonderfully unique game. Can't wait to get my copy!
Super happy to see the Crawl expansion. I think it opens up official ways to play the game like a solo RPG as well :)

Have been waiting years for this one... almost here!

Thank you!
Glad you covered this, somehow missed this even though I have Battle of the Ancients. So thanks! Looks like and awesome game

It’s a really interesting design. Haven’t come across too many games where the players are in complete control of populating the world.
Unique, weird and wonderful. Love this game!
I bought the entire collection based on Daniel's endorsement!
I hope you enjoy it.

I'd recommend just focusing on the base game before adding the expansions. The small expansions can be added without having to learn more rules.
I received mine last week and I love the packaging. No empty space.
I was so happy to be able to fit everything, even the expansion content, in the tiny base game box somehow
Yes! Love the packaging here. Very thoughtful.
Fantastic Game!
I appreciate the art but it is too different from my tastes for me to try this game. A good overview, Daniel.
Can you work in the advanced combat rules of the arena in a regular game? The combat always seemed kinda basic to me.
Not sure.
Haven’t watched the video yet but I wanted to love this game so much. But the solo felt a little tacked on. I hope one of these expansions fixes that.

Which expansions would you consider essential?
Not sure. Haven’t spent enough time with them yet.
I'd probably lean towards the smaller expansions, because they have stuff that is just added to the game without having read / learn more rules.
This has crazy COQ vibes
Yes! Totally.
what is "coq" ?

Like all bold art styles, it's a love it or hate thing. Personally, I love it. :)
What don’t you like about it? At least it’s not the next ultra generic art.
Knowing nothing about it, the art alone almost has me ready to buy it…looks dope

@@oneysnyder2116 And thats the great thing about art, its subjective :) if you like it, awesome!
