I am sorry you feel this way. I have been trained & worked in Bethel's Healing Rooms, and have personally seen many healings. I believe most importantly of all that God's Word is true & timeless. I have, myself, experienced healing. Credibility comes from being tested & found faithful. Why don't you ask God yourself to reveal His "credibility" to you? How I long to walk with The Holy Spirit all the time ,Being conscience of His Presence all the time ,I want this more then anything!!! 1:37 "And what do we call people who are intimate as a profession?" SO GOOD. There's so much healing in that revelation. I've approached my intimacy with Christ like this so many times. It's still a struggle, but I really believe this is healing to my heart. I've spent time with God in prayer, reading scripture, listening to His voice, to love my neighbor well or to have a GLORY FILLED day at work... that's performance driven. That's being a professional Christian. I've even tried to convince myself that I'm being intimate for relationship when it's really so my day will be better. God, please forgive me. Help me to selflessly lay my life down just to know You more, just to walk with You, just to chase after You. Abiding because of love. Abiding because You're the best.
IV had alot of emotional healing over the years through the Holy Spirit. also alot of persecution because people have not und er stood what "all the loud crying" was all about. for s long time I didn't know either. now I'm a firm believer in this.
I totally get you on your brothers death. With close ones I've lost I cling like you to that wonderful truth that they are pain free and with Jesus in heaven. I would never say to you that your brother died because you lacked faith or that my loved ones died because of the lack of mine; but that is what Bill teaches - God is willing to heal - but we don't have the faith/haven't learnt how to do it/haven't walked close enough to God in intimacy to move him. I'll always pray til the end though.

I particularly like the way he equated critical thinking with unbelief. After all, people who engage in critical thinking are just that little bit too difficult to manipulate and fleece.
I will speak for myself. God has healed me! The thing that many do not understand I believe is that Satan is here to stop the work of God. God has shown me how He heals and yes symptoms do arise, BUT here is the huge part that people are missing. The symptom arises & people automatically freak out and say, "oh I thought I was healed?" So they cease praying about the illness & do not focus on God, but focus on the illness instead. they do not keep rebuking the sickness in the name of Jesus.
The community of faith called "Bethel Church" has a building with a sign that reads "Bethel Church" that they often meet in. This is not that building, but it is those people. They also sometimes meet in the local Civic Center, where they can all be together; this is that location.

I agree. 1: God provides gifts to everyone and anyone whom is part of the body. 2: you can not pick out the gifts; partly it's how you were created that says something about the gifts, and partly it is the timely way of the Lord providing you with the gifts you need. Still I desire to "walk in the gifts" God gives me.
The reason it is no is because not everybody goes after them!! He will not withhold them from you but he also won't drop them in your lap. The key to moving in the gifts of the Holy Spirit is the baptism in the Holy Spirit and being continually filled with the Holy Spirit. The gifts of the Spirit is the only way an individual is able to do the works of Jesus.
He told me a long time ago if you want to see miracles you have to set yourself up to see miracles in other words you have to go after them. Start praying for the sick expecting results.
His voice is very soporific. I believe the induction of drowsiness makes one more suggestible. I wonder if he practices in front of the family to perfect his technique.

Yes. however emotional healing should be surrounded with care. The healed must stick to God as their healer not to the person whom extends the healing. Also some healing may come in leaps and bounds and needs compassion, endurance, grace, timeliness and willingness to walk together. (Deep life lessons are hidden in there.) Thirdly, there is not always a complete healing. The person ministered to also has a role: if he/she can embrace forgiveness (towards him/herself as well as to others where applicable), the healing will be deeper in my experience. That directly points to another pitfall: if no complete healing happens, never never blame the person ministered to. This is not about mistakes, this is about following Gods plan. If He has the grace to use me, I have to be graceful when not everything goes according to my expectations.

MTM The only answer l know is given in Philippians 2. He took on the form of a man, he completely humbled himself and emptied himself of his divinity and he was obedient as a man and died as a man on the cross. Therefore God elevated him to the highest place and gave him the name above every name and every knee will bow and every tongue will confess, sooner or later, that Jesus is Lord. This is Christ, who lived on earth as the second Adam. He was still God but lived as a man, which is why only after he was baptised with the Holy Spirit that he did the miracles and ministered as the Son of Man. He really became a man with a penis and all. He was born as a man in the flesh. He was circumcised. His foreskin was cut off just as was done on all Jewish male babies. And it shocks us to the core of our religious bones that God the Son would humble himself like this. I am so thankful he did... I agree. 1: God provides gifts to everyone and anyone whom is part of the body. 2: you can not pick out the gifts; partly it's how you were created that says something about the gifts, and partly it is the timely way of the Lord providing you with the gifts you need.
Still I desire to "walk in the gifts" God gives me.
The reason it is no is because not everybody goes after them!! He will not withhold them from you but he also won't drop them in your lap. The key to moving in the gifts of the Holy Spirit is the baptism in the Holy Spirit and being continually filled with the Holy Spirit.
The gifts of the Spirit is the only way an individual is able to do the works of Jesus.
He told me a long time ago if you want to see miracles you have to set yourself up to see miracles in other words you have to go after them. Start praying for the sick expecting results.
His voice is very soporific. I believe the induction of drowsiness makes one more suggestible. I wonder if he practices in front of the family to perfect his technique.

Can emotional healing happen the way instant physical healing happens?

Yes, absolutely!
Yes. however emotional healing should be surrounded with care. The healed must stick to God as their healer not to the person whom extends the healing. Also some healing may come in leaps and bounds and needs compassion, endurance, grace, timeliness and willingness to walk together. (Deep life lessons are hidden in there.) Thirdly, there is not always a complete healing. The person ministered to also has a role: if he/she can embrace forgiveness (towards him/herself as well as to others where applicable), the healing will be deeper in my experience. That directly points to another pitfall: if no complete healing happens, never never blame the person ministered to. This is not about mistakes, this is about following Gods plan. If He has the grace to use me, I have to be graceful when not everything goes according to my expectations.

Although I think I understand why you're giving us edited Snippets, when you edit Clips together it gives off the feeling that he is saying something that he didn't actually say. Anyways I was very blessed by this but I thought I would make this a suggestion.
If someone is watching this and they are not saved or they don't understand, they may feel like you are putting sentences together that bill did not say. Maybe I'm Wrong by saying this but it is a thought that I had while watching.

Yes, there is. We call them "counselors" and "psychologists." I know that's not the word Johnson was thinking of, but he's being unduly negative. He's right, intimacy out of love is better, but he's wrong, it's not prostitution to engage the Spirit for ministry.
I really don't get what you and guys like Bill J say to families and friends of believers who get sick and die even though they prayedfor healing.
What would you say? Why does is happen?

Go to God about this. It isn't Benny's job to confirm that the people who tell him that they have been healed are really actually healed; the person who claims to have been healed is that not their responsibility to tell the truth? Why is Benny Hinn or Johnson at fault? Pray for Benny; don't curse him. You seem very angry; don't let people who lie get you down; pray for them. God answers when we ask Him in Christ Jesus. That is great that you believe God's word, now use it to glorify Him.

@ndelore Wait a second. We all believe Jesus was fully man and fully God, but we don't agree on what his fully God nature looked like. If he knew all things, then why didn't he know the day or the hour of His second coming? (Matt 24:36) C'mon, don't shy away from that one. What about this. Luke 2:52 says, "And Jesus kept increasing in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men". If Jesus new all things, how the heck could He grow in wisdom? Hmm.. Who's the false teacher now? MTM The only answer l know is given in Philippians 2. He took on the form of a man, he completely humbled himself and emptied himself of his divinity and he was obedient as a man and died as a man on the cross. Therefore God elevated him to the highest place and gave him the name above every name and every knee will bow and every tongue will confess, sooner or later, that Jesus is Lord.
This is Christ, who lived on earth as the second Adam. He was still God but lived as a man, which is why only after he was baptised with the Holy Spirit that he did the miracles and ministered as the Son of Man.
He really became a man with a penis and all. He was born as a man in the flesh. He was circumcised. His foreskin was cut off just as was done on all Jewish male babies. And it shocks us to the core of our religious bones that God the Son would humble himself like this.
I am so thankful he did...

As for sickness, where did Jesus ever give sickness to people to teach them a lesson? God didn't directly afflict Job, so God didn't do it
Only Jesus and the apostles could ever heal. Also, about 70 others who were commisioned to heal, by the laying on of hands of the apostles. There was never anybody else who could heal or so other signs. It is NOT for every believer. True follwers of Jesus do not need s sign. Let the Bible be your sign.
