Radek Baborák Cadenza Transcription

- Hello! A few weeks ago a friend commissioned me to transcribe Radek Baborák' cadenza from his performance of the Mozart Horn Concerto No.3 Movement 1. Not gonna lie, the melody to this piece is really catchy and dissecting Baborák's ideas are a treat on its own.
I have some more transcriptions in the works with some of them I plan on playing along with. I'm also really excited for theses next two transcriptions I have planned out so if you wanna see them and more feel free to subscribe :)

Besides playing the high C at piano, I'm glad I'm finally to a point where this doesn't look too hard to play
Mr. Baborak has the most beautiful tone on the French Horn that I have ever heard...magnificient talent. There is a wonderful movie made about his life and career called Solo, a must watch.
This player is awesome. The horn is absolutely the most challenging instrument to play and play well. I played trombone through high school, and my best friend played French Horn. I got her to let my try her horn once...the sound that came out, well, it wasn't all that different than the sound one would make a few hours after eating at a Mexican restaurant. And any coherent melody? Fuhgettaboutit.
I could play both a tuba and trumpet back then (I started out as a trumpet player). I could also make sounds that would pass a music on my friends' flute and tenor sax.
I don't know how horn players do it. Obviously, the answer is "lots of practice and patience," but my point is that it is insanely more difficult than the other instruments in the typical high school concert band, with the exception of the oboe. Allowing your child to take up either the oboe or French horn borders on child abuse. lol
Been playing oboe for 6 years, am 15 now. No it's not torture if you've got a good ear :)

Мне не особо нравятся все остальные каденции, эта лучшая из всех что я слушала и слышала когда-либо!!
Я её уже подбирала, на слух конечно, так и получилось, думаю изменить её чуть-чуть вместо си и до во второй октаве, вниз идти, к сожалению((
