The inky sound coming out of that beautiful instrument ❤️❤️❤️
Beautiful Playing! I played one in my Highschool a Solo what a fun instrument it was ❤
Good bass clarinet playing
Omg woweeeee
Beautiful sound, Silvia!
I love it!
Nice 👍🏼👏👏👏👏
Bravíssima ❤
Her tone is absolutely wonderful!!
chalumeauuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu
amazing sound. what’s your setup?
Selmer Privilège bass clarinet. BD5 Vandoren mouthpiece.
Thanks!
Amazing! What reed do you use?
Vandoren V12
@@SilviaInsaLlopis Question, when you play louder, do you hear any shrill reedy sounds? I was wondering if that was something only the player could hear and isn’t audible in the tone everyone else hears. Everything I try to get rid of it doesn’t work, a different angle, different reed and reed size, or different mouthpiece. Is that a part of the instrument or is it fixable?
@@SilviaInsaLlopiswhat about ligature?
Isn't that shoshtokovich wrote the Lengthiest excerpt for bass clarinet ever.?
Sure!! Wagner also likes long phrases with bass clarinet, always give a touch of mistery and depth.
@@SilviaInsaLlopis Yess, bass clarinet is so mysterious. My favorite excerpt is from Stravinsky's rite of spring, just before the sacrificial dance.
@@SilviaInsaLlopis How many times have you played the Rite of Spring and all the mahler symphonies?
Several times, next season we will play the rite of spring. ❤
@@SilviaInsaLlopis can you please upload the video.
Not Shostakovich's best moment!!
Maybe isn't Shostakovich best moment but there is one of more difficult bass clarinet orchestral excerps. 😅
@@SilviaInsaLlopis Really? Where's the difficult part?
Long phrases and breathing. Always this is more difficult than playing a thousand notes, at least for me.
Uh ????? 🤪
