Wow, Joel's settlement was surprisingly good. I honestly don't know who to vote for; the amount of effort that went into Dave's factory is insane but at the same time, Joel's sense of humor just fits the Fallout setting PERFECTLY.

Tag Howard or perhaps the Conguest mod. It allows you to build a settlement anywhere. Maybe on top of a highway, in the middle of the ocean, or on the roofs of Boston?
Dave worked harder placing every little bit, but Joel was much more creative. The drop a load and catch a load was great with the coin flip settlement! Gonna have to give Joel the win.

I dunno, the strange, almost cult-like society the Heads/Tails people lived in reminded me of all the classic insanity the Fallout universe has been known for, and the insanity I've sorely missed in vanilla Fallout 4. That said, I'm also excited to see how you'll shake things up on that raider build you're working on, Dave!
WOW you guys, these are amazing! I love the factory for practicality and ideas, as I've never built one, but I really loved Joel's build, just for the sheer bonkers imagination that went into creating it :-) For PC especially, there are so many incredible mods that can take a game to another level, but as I'm saving for a rig and will be doing my next play-through on PS4, I'll be making ALOT of use of the rug/concrete pillar glitches for my build. I'm massively into immersiion and lore-building too, so my character will be living at Egret Tours Marina (as a personal base, 'cause I want that diner!) and I'm giving her a backstory and she'll be a Mad-Max build, so really rough around the edges, a lone wanderer vigilante-type freedom-fighter for the Railroad. Can't wait, but x'ing my fingers & toes that Bethesda drops a SPECIAL/ultimate edition soon!!

Basically lore wise one has gotten a factory back into working order and is using it for what they want and need and the other was like they potentially used to be in a vault they know the bull the vaultec people pulled and they have made there own non-vault vault scenario to play out under the guise of protected raiderless paradise.

Even that "Heads & Tails" makes sense like heads are higher up than tails, even on animals. If you think about it, Joel must have really thought about designing that settlement. Really great job!
