I'm a retired 66 year old woman living alone. Someone said they prayed for me. But she is a non- practicing Mormon. I searched for this message and found you. Please pray for me. I am living in a high crime area and crime escalates in the summer. Divine protection and peace over my life and that faith in the Lord will become stronger with every breath I breathe. Thanks so much my family in Jesus Christ.🙋‍♂️❤

Pat Harvey - Hi Pat. Can I say that it is not 'your' salvation. It is God's salvation. God the Father purposed and planned it before the world was even formed. God the Son, Jesus Christ came into the world in human form to die and fulfill the will of God to take away sin by the sacrifice of Himself to the full satisfaction and glory of God. God the Holy Spirit is the power by which we come into the good of God's salvation, when we believe. He indwells us and joins us to Christ. Hence the expression 'a new creation in Christ Jesus' 2 Corinthians ch. 5 v 17. God has promised that if you believe you WILL receive eternal life and the forgiveness of sins. It is Christ who is your security. It is not how you feel within yourself and whether you fail or not. Christ cried 'finished' on the cross. God has accepted that sacrifice which was in your behalf. If you are referring to Hebrews ch. 6, read verse 9 and apply it to yourself. The other verses refer to Jewish professors who had seen all the wonderful works and things that happened at pentecost, etc. but were not converted even though they experienced so much by association with genuine Christians. Ask God to save you and don't doubt. He is faithful.

There was an atheist who went hiking in the woods. As he goes deeply into the woods he encountered a bear. The bear attacked him but when he was about to be eaten he screamed, "God 🙏 please help me", there was a voice "do you have faith in Christ?". The atheist answered, "no, please just make the bear to be a Christian". The bear clasp its hands bow its head and whisper," God thank you for this food". And the bear ate the atheist.

If God didn't hear the prayers of unbelievers, there would be no believers. But God has a special relationship with His Children, that he does not have with the rest of humanity, and that relationship, through Grace, gives a different in the matter of prayer. We say "Our Father" because He is. The sinner cannot call God "Father" and his access to God is limited by his sin.

I was an ex-JW and I was going to the kingdom hall when a angry German Shepard came towards me. I was dying of fear inside, I knew that the dog sensed it. It came up to me growling and his face was against my hand; I felt the dog's teeth. I prayed for that dog not to attack me. Our God Almighty, gracious Lord, spared me from that dog attack. I don't know what happened (now I know it was Jesus), the dog changed his mind and went away. If that is not God answering a prayer to a non-believer then I don't know what that is. Does God love unbelievers? One of the first signs of love is a willingness to listen. "Not one sparrow falls to the ground without God's knowing about it." Unbelievers are each worth more than many sparrows. It has been suggested that unbelievers can pray wih an open mind, as an experiment, to see if prayer works.

From reading some of the comments, I think a lot of people are misunderstanding his point. Does God hear the prayers of an unbeliever? Yes. God hears everything. He is fully aware of every word, thought, emotion and motivation. The real question is, does God heed and answer those prayers. If we look in the Bible we can see many examples showing that He often does. When the Ninevites fasted and prayed, God repented of the destruction He was going to bring.
The point being made is that there is no ASSURANCE that God will answer those prayers. By all rights, because of the wickedness in all of our hearts which taints any prayer we could offer, God shouldn't heed them. That fact that He does at all is a demonstration of His mercy. He is not obligated to answer them, and there is no guarantee that He will. Nonetheless, He often does out of mercy.
The only prayers that are guaranteed to be heeded are the prayers of those who are in Christ, because Christ is our intercessor who stands before the Father on our behalf.

    • @firemandave2208
      @firemandave2208 2 ปีที่แล้ว

@@sids5002 It is a common sentiment for people to feel that God is evil, malicious or unjust when calamities come that don't seem deserved in our eyes. Job experienced this. In one day he lost all his wealth and all of his children, then he was tormented with a physical affliction. Job examined himself to see if he could find some sin in his life that might have prompted his troubles, but he could find none. He then concluded that God must be unjust, because the wicked often prosper and the innocent suffer. God responded by giving Job a greater understanding of who God is. God is the creator of everything, the supreme and complete sovereign over all, who has the right to do whatever He pleases, and He owes no one an explanation for what He does. Job's answer was to say, "I had heard of you by the hearing of the ear, but now my eye sees you; therefore I despise myself, and repent in dust and ashes.”
This, really, is the root of the problem: we don't know who God is. We each have an imagination of who we think God is, but that imagination is inevitably drawn from within ourselves and is a reflection of our own corrupt hearts. This is why it is essential for us to allow the Scripture to reveal to us the nature of God, and not to rely on what we feel He ought to be. The Scripture repeatedly reminds us that God is vastly higher than us and beyond our comprehension. If any of us were to be given just a glimpse of God, as Job was, we would have the same response that he had: we would fall on our face, unable to comprehend how such a righteous and holy God would tolerate such miserable and vile creatures as we are. It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed. Every breath we draw is His clemency. If God were to give us what we actually deserve, we would all be immediately consumed by the fire of His wrath. Yet because He is merciful, we are not.
When we look at the world, we see that it is full of pain, suffering and death, but we are largely blind to the corruption of sin. God created the world perfect, but it was man who brought the pain, suffering and death into the world by our sin. If we could truly understand how holy God is and how wicked we are, it would be impossible for us to ever think of God as awful or unjust.
God is certainly not blind to the suffering and injustices in the world. He sees every sparrow that falls and every child that suffers. The Scripture promises us that the judge of all the earth will do what is right. The day will come when God will correct all injustices.

@@firemandave2208 again, you are literally condoning appalling violence and behaviour, and excusing it, due to confirmation bias. You want your God to be loved, so you use mental gymnastics to explain away anything in opposition to that. Would you excuse a human behaving like that? No. So it's even worse from an all powerful supposedly benevolent being.

    • @firefighterdjk
      @firefighterdjk 2 ปีที่แล้ว

@@sids5002 If there is no God, then there cannot possibly be objective morality. If there is no God, then good and evil can not be real and could only exist in people's imaginations. If that is the case, then you have no basis to judge anyone's actions, no matter what they may be. There would be no moral law to judge them by. On the other hand, if God does exist, then it is His very nature and character that defines good and evil. There can be no universal moral law without a lawgiver who has universal authority. This can only be God. So then, if that which is good is defined by the nature of God and that which is evil is defined by that which is contrary to His nature, then it is literally impossible for God to be evil or do evil. Whatever He does, by definition, is good - because goodness is defined by the nature of God.
When anyone presumes to stand in judgement over what God is or is not allowed to do, they do so on the premise that there is some moral law that is both separate from God and higher than God. This too is impossible. If God were subject to something higher than Himself, He would not be God. So when you say that God would be evil if He were to do (fill the blank), what moral law are you using to make that judgement? What is the source of that law? What authority does that source have?
God is the creator of everything that is. He holds it together by the might of His power. If God were to simply cease holding it together, the whole universe would dissolve into nothing. He made us and He has the right to do with us whatever He pleases. There is no one with the authority to question His actions. Yes, God is loving and benevolent. The fact that you and I are still living is evidence of that. He sends rain on the just and the unjust. He restrains the evil in men, so that we do not behave nearly as badly as we would. He has given us countless pleasures in life. Above all, He became flesh, dwelt among us, bore our sins on His shoulders and paid the full penalty for those sins on the Cross, so you and I might have eternal life if we believe in Him. That punishment which He bore on our behalf was demanded by His justice. It is God's Justice that people don't want to acknowledge. Everyone is more than happy to have a God who is loving and forgiving and kind. But people are not so eager to have a God who is holy and just and executes judgement on sinners. God is both, and whether this agrees with our sentimentalities or not is irrelevant.

    • @sids5002
      @sids5002 2 ปีที่แล้ว

@@firefighterdjk Morality comes from humans. There are differing cultures, who after working together, have agreed on slightly differing views on morality, but on ones that suit themselves and keep their populations happy. Some things are clearly objectively immoral, worldwide, like stealing and murder, and other things up for debate, of course. That in no way takes anything away from their existence or effectiveness, or even their morality. They are arrived at through experience, debate, democracy, peer review, parents, family, friends, strangers, good and bad people. There is no better way.
If you assume a god gives morality, then you have a problem. Which god, for a start? Is the punishment the same for different cultures? Clearly not, as some countries have a death penalty, most don't. Who is right? Some who even follow the same religion, don't agree. Laws and morality are a combination of many things, and evolve to meet the demands of societies. That's why they change. Religious morality is defined only in old scriptures. Some of the things defined in those scriptures are now seen as outdated and others as now immoral. In civilised societies, we no longer stone people to death. We have a presumption of innocence until proven guilty, and have a rigid process for deciding those things on a case by case basis. If we were to rely on the bible, then all sorts of immoral atrocities committed by the god depicted there, would suddenly be deemed moral, which would be terrible. The god of the bible slaughters on a whim, hates gays, women and non-whites, and demands worship. Not something most people would condone.

But God didn't answer the prayer of those people who r convinced that their idol or gods (which doesn't exist) is the true God and has no desire to seek the true living God. Because when they pray they pray in the name of their idols or gods, which God abhors the most.

Anyone that would attempt to speak against this clear, concise, Biblical explanation, simply is completely ignorant of God's Word!! Thank you for the clearest explanation I have heard in over 25 years of preaching!! This is exactly the doctrinal position of God and has been mine ever since I trusted Christ in 1982!!! Every false religion or false preacher and every false Christian teaches you just need to be sincere with your prayers even while you reject Christ as your only Savior and God is obligated to hear you!!! What a prideful slap in the face a of God!! Even Jesus himself said in John 14:6, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." and in John 6:44, “No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.”
It is impossible for God to be expected to hear and unsaved person's prayer until obviously they repent of their sins and accept Christ alone as Savior!!! You can't come to the Father without coming through Christ and you can't come to Christ unless the Father draws you to Christ!!! Christ is the focal point of salvation, because HE IS SALVATION and the whole focus of the Bible has always been and will always be the salvation of mankind through Christ alone!!! To think otherwise, is to validate the authenticity of false religions, of which we cannot and should not do!!! Christ made it all very clear!! After all ,he is GOD INCARNATE; HE SHOULD KNOW!!!

Yes he does. Our side neighbour is south Indian hindu. There was a time in her life where she did not have money to pay for her children's fees. She had 2 children. She just did not ask anyone . And eventually her health started deteriorating. Eventually, she went to our local church and she cried out loud and at that point of time there was praise and worship in the church. The next day there was an unknown person who paid her children's fees for the whole year and with this all her tensions vanished. She gave her testimony. And she was beaming with happiness.

I came before God at breaking point after falling away from Him in my youth and early twenties.. I repented and shared my hurt and sorrow and what I was in need of. He answered - He answered but I did not recognise it and carried on with my worldy ways living in sin. Until I call it a hiding.. Not that I was there yet and 2 or so years later born again. But He answered my prayer.. He was waiting for me.

  • @SalvableRuin

I don't think I can agree with you, at least not if you say God doesn't hear our prayers if we don't pray in the name of Jesus. Before I was a believer I called out to God to show me if he existed. It wasn't to mock or challenge God. I felt hopelessness and despair and I asked God if he was real and if he could teach me the meaning of life, if there indeed was any meaning. I had mocked Jesus and God and Church and Christians and the Bible (without a cause, as it is written). I didn't know God existed, and I certainly didn't realize he was the God of the Bible, so I did not know how to pray in the name of Jesus. But he heard me and he drew me to himself and revealed his truth to my mind. That was in 1997, I believe, and I have believed in Christ Jesus ever since.

Rejoice that your name was written in the Book of Life before the foundation of the world and that God, in his perfect timing, gave you new life. I understand what the preacher is trying to relay. If you understand the authority, relationship & benefits of the sacrifice that was made to save your soul, then you can see clearly why the speaker takes this position in not being able to definitively say to an unbeliever, "God is going to answer this prayer!" Jesus layed down his life so that all who willed to come, would be accepted. The problem is not will Jesus hear/answer the prayer, but the greater question is will the unbeliever accept Christ. This is more important than any thing any of us can petition God for. I do believe God will/does answer unbelievers prayers, if he chooses to, but the goal/agenda of this is so that men can see, repent and trust in God. I would never tell an unbeliever not to pray, because the fact that they are willing to pray is a sign that God could be turning their heart. I would show support by praying with them, share what Jesus did for us all, and hope that God opens their heart to see their greater need.

    No!
    I reject that premise completely.
I respect your articulation of your biblically arrived at point of view.
    I totally disagree.
“ He who comes to GOD must believe that HE is, and is a rewarder of those who seek
HIM.” “ Draw near to ME and I will draw near to you”
GOD provided a Way back to HIM after the Edenic Fall to disobedience. GOD showed that it was now needful for MAN to sacrifice the 1st born of a Herd, to Atone for their sins.
A portend to GOD’S own first born - yes- for sure- Jesus IS the good Shepherd The Way and the Door through whom we connect spiritually to his Father.
Not knowing Jesus but praying to GOD for HIS guidance and help, is NOT
    Unanswered!
There is a lot more at work in the Celestial Domain of Jesus’ present Residence at his Father’s right hand than we can possibly know.!
GOD “ catches “ MEN with HIS Word- either picked up by hearing or reading … it always “ bears fruit and does not return to GOD void “… if Jesus is not known prior to bending down and praying to THE GOD in Whom we live and move and have our being …. Then GOD is the One Who Leads us there to him.
He and The Father are one. Of one MIND.
All the peoples of OT times who came to GOD with open honest hearts, were heard and answered. Long before Jesus was physically manifested as The Word made flesh.
It is MAN ( such as the views expressed in this video ) who puts Limits snd restrictions on the ways people can not come to GOD.
HE knows those who are HIS. Their names are etched into the palm of HIS Hand.
Saul was killing every believer in Jesus. Yet Jesus did not limit Saul from coming to personally know Jesus, and his reflected Love which flowed through him from GOD.
LOVE covers a multitude of sins.
Insisting on a limiting view of “ right ways to come to God “, needs caution, for reasons that we as human beings are very vulnerable to self righteousness. And Conditional Love.
The Pharisees had that problem. Their “ Right Ways “ put limits on the work Jesus did: no healing on the Sabbath.
Jesus failed in keeping THEIR “ right ways”.
    And was crucified for it.
( purposed by his FATHER ).
The title of this video is: does GOD hear the prayers of the unbeliever?
Unless I’m far too literal here, this “ unbeliever’s prayer to GOD ( I assume ?)
Would require faith to conceive of a GOD who can hear and a GOD who can answer.
    Indeed
    WILL answer!
Your privately chosen example of little girl asking for a drink but forgetting her manners, is a prerogative for you to use. A better example would be, the little girl coming to you, to ask for your help.
She tells you her difficulty, with some timidity but believes IN your ability to help her.
Will you turn her away, because she does not yet know that you have a SON, who can teach her how to live, and love, and show her who YOU really are?
Will you let her struggle along her life till she figures out it’s YOUR Son she “ must “ approach first - like a Legal Process….
Was Jesus not showing the Jews that prior to him teaching about who GOD really is, there were “ thieves and Robbers….”?
Was Jesus not saying: don’t trust those who have gone before him?
    Such as The Pharisees.
    In psalm 77 ( I think ..) it says 70 times
    GOD is LOVE….
    HE created you
(&me )… and knows how many hairs are on our heads, our hearts and thoughts.
HE will never INSIST on Manners-
HE will guide and teach and HIS Patience will NEVER Run out…

      By: Steve Shirley
A: I find 8 places where Paul asked people to pray for him, and those who were with him. As you will see below, on most occasions, Paul did not so much “ask” for prayer, but instead flat out “told” them to pray.
(Rom 15:30-32) Now I beseech you, brethren, for the Lord Jesus Christ’s sake, and for the love of the Spirit, that ye strive together with me in your prayers to God for me; (31) That I may be delivered from them that do not believe in Judaea; and that my service which I have for Jerusalem may be accepted of the saints; (32) That I may come unto you with joy by the will of God, and may with you be refreshed.
(2 Cor 1:10-11) Who delivered us from so great a death, and doth deliver: in whom we trust that he will yet deliver us; (11) Ye also helping together by prayer for us, that for the gift bestowed upon us by the means of many persons thanks may be given by many on our behalf.
(Eph 6:18-20)(NASB) With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit, and with this in view, be on the alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints, (19) and pray on my behalf, that utterance may be given to me in the opening of my mouth, to make known with boldness the mystery of the gospel, (20) for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in proclaiming it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
(Phil 1:19)(NASB) for I know that this will turn out for my deliverance through your prayers and the provision of the Spirit of Jesus Christ
(Col 4:2-4)(NASB) Devote yourselves to prayer, keeping alert in it with an attitude of thanksgiving; (3) praying at the same time for us as well, that God will open up to us a door for the word, so that we may speak forth the mystery of Christ, for which I have also been imprisoned; (4) that I may make it clear in the way I ought to speak.
(1 Th 5:25) Brethren, pray for us.
(2 Th 3:1-2) Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you: (2) And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith.
(Phile 1:22)(NASB) At the same time also prepare me a lodging, for I hope that through your prayers I will be given to you.
*** We don’t know for sure who wrote the book of Hebrews, but if it was Paul, we also have:
(Heb 13:18-19) Pray for us: for we trust we have a good conscience, in all things willing to live honestly. (19) But I beseech you the rather to do this, that I may be restored to you the sooner.

I disagree with him about the sincerity part.If you are sincerely coming before God with an open mind, and a willing heart,I believe there's a good chance that he will answer. That's how he came into my life and saved me. However,if you are coming before him as if you somehow deserve or have earned it, then I do believe he'll view it as abomination. However,a contrite heart and a broken spirit,he will not deny. That's what I personally believe but to say God's heart is only tickled by an earnest prayer, and sincere heart, from an unbeliever,I think that's a stretch.

Two times I prayed to God without believing. Both prayers were answered. The first prayer at age 28 was to enquire if God existed, and if God did exist for God to explain to me who or what God is. The second prayer aged 32 was to ask "If you are really there Jesus, help me!". Both prayers were answered in God's time. He revealed His true nature to me and He revealed the Gospel to me - that God sent Jesus Christ to die for sinners.

Because the bible tells us "if we Don't accept the son it means we also don't accept the father, so they're non believers who prayers and God answers their prayers and you will see believers who believe in the son yet their prayers are not been answered. So does that makes God to be fair? Yes he's fair and everything he does, he does it for purpose, read malachi 3:14-18 and we also read the book of ester, Ester 6 How the king honerd mordecai.

What if their prayer is in line with God’s will? What if their prayers are in line with God’s will for them? What if their prayer is in line with God’s will for them and they ask in Jesus‘ name? Wouldn’t that answered prayer help their unbelief? I was to understand that don’t even the dogs get the crumbs? If said person was really an unbeliever, would they even be praying? I’m not trying to be a wiseguy, I just want to know.

I believe the Pastor here answered all that. Jesus is the way to God. God did does here and God is merciful. For a person to be saved, the Church has to pray and ask God to deal with the lost person. Then that person must cry out for salvation and God will save them. Hope this helps. And we must believe and obey the the Word of God in every way.

@@toniaparks7726 but an unbeliever would hardly be concerned about any of those things. What if the person doesn’t belong to or ever even belonged to a church. Maybe their parents were hippies or something. God won’t call a person out of the world if that’s His will? He can’t make an irreligious person soften his heart and hear Him? I’m just saying that Almighty God alone is absolutely sovereign and there is no limit to His power and authority over His own creations. So, in some cases, the church has a role in helping an individual, but not in every case. I understand that God wants relationship with individuals. Sometimes an individual can’t be reached by church, but I believe that His will be done in our lives. Even outside the fold.

That person has nothing to worry about. If you pray for someone who doesn’t know God and doesn’t care, God may then go and put that grace in their heart and “draw them.”

  • @naturallygifted2002

I believe that providence of God or the goodness of God leads to repentance as states in Romans 2:4. However, in John 9:31 We know that God DOES NOT listen to SINNERS, but He will listen to the one who worships Him and does His will, him He hears. Just to name a few of God’s attributes as well as who He: He is Good, Mercifully, Faithful, Kind, Compassionate, Gentle, Holy, Pure, Righteous, and a Consuming Fire 🔥. The safest and best decision one can make is to believe that God sent His Son Jesus Christ in the for of flesh to die for the forgiveness of all our sins. And by doing that Jesus became that precious gift to us as. So the best thing to do is to believe accept that gift and like a life accept to the Holy Bible. Then one won’t need to worry if God will answer their prayers. God always answer prayers with a Yes, No, or Wait. Whatever the answer is it is ALWAYS to best answer.

doesnt listen to sinners? then who among us doesnt sin? who did Jesus give his life to save? who needs saving and prayers to be answered? the sinners!!! and thats everyone who ever lived!!! you likely meant non believers...of course non believers wont pray to God everyday...still its not something you can surely know God will avoid them...i believe The Lord is alot more loving and accepting than we can ever be....in fact the whole existance of God and Jesus and holy Spirit is all about unconditional love isnt it? Thats why we are told to love our enemies isnt it? The one thing i got from a lifetime of prayer is to love others like we would like to be loved and forgiven...the Golden Rule...no?? Only religion tries to scare us all into hell....but they dont even practice what they preach...i openly believe and trust in the trinity....but not at all in religion!....its between me and my God....Just like it is on your last day....its you and the Lord...not you , the priest or assembly and The Lord! Religion makes you only feel unworthy and or guilty to the point you doubt His love for us....i dont believe that...and no amount of pedo priests will change that....and as far as my money...its to keep me and my children alive in this hard life...but i also am giving to those in need and try to help best i can....the super rich catholic religion are the ones who should be helping those in dire need....but they dont....in fact they have a million excuses to never give back the monies they took from the very people they quickly condemn to an eternal hell of torture....wake up people....religion is the true evil....a sheep in wolf's clothing 100%. They even refuse to pay taxes and have murderes more people in the name of God than all wars combined!!! and that all ok with you? Wow....wake up and believe the facts...not their stories or fire and brimstone....they dont believe their own lies...otherwise they would stop doing what they do!!!!

I agree no unbeliever can be assured that God will answer him or her, as God’s children in good standing can be, but perhaps, as in Cornelius’ case, God hears and answers some prayers of some unbelievers in order to draw them to Himself - and perhaps these prayers of the pre-saved Elect are covered by Christ; after all, if God loved us while we were yet sinners, could that love not include hearing and answering prayers?
As an anecdote, for whatever it’s worth, I have heard a testimony (true story) in which an atheist walking in a thunderstorm yelled up at the sky, “Is that all You’ve got? It will take more than that to make me believe in You!” And while at the time the atheist wasn’t really serious, later, after God convinced him of the gospel and saved him, he wondered if God had taken that “prayer” seriously.
Again, this is no assurance to an unbeliever, just a thought about how God may work in the lives of the pre-saved.

John 9:31: And we know that GOD DOES NOT HEAR THE SINNERS; But if anyone is God-fearing, and does his will, he hears.
The application of a healthy hermeneutics leads us to understand, that this was the argument of the healed blind, to prove to his inquisitors, that the person who healed him had no sin since God heard him, thereby demonstrating the authenticity of the miracle. His defense was based on two premises: If Jesus had been a sinner, the miracle would not have come true, but the miracle came about because Jesus was not a sinner, but God-fearing and doing His will.
BUT DOES GOD NOT HEAR SINNERS?
Tickets like: 1 Sam. 8:18; Job 35:12; Ps. 18:41; Ps. 66:18; Prov. 1:28; Proverbs 28: 9; Isa. 1:15; 59: 2; Jer. 11:11; 14:12 and Ezeq. 8:18, clearly state that God does not hear the prayer of sinners, but he is ready to hear the prayer of the righteous Prov. 15:29.
BUT ... GOD DOES NOT HEAR SINNERS?
Jeremiah 8: 5,6 Why is this people of Jerusalem rebellious with everlasting rebellion? They embraced the deception, and did not want to turn around. I heard and heard; They do not speak rightly, there is no man who repents of his evil, saying, What have I done? Each one turned to his own race, like a horse that rushes with impetus to the battle.
Exodus 16:12: I have heard the murmurings of the children of Israel; Say to them, At evening time you shall eat flesh, and in the morning you shall be satisfied with bread, and you shall know that I am the Lord your God.
Jeremiah 23:25: I have heard what these prophets said, prophesying a lie in my name, saying, I dreamed, I dreamed.
Ezekiel 35:12: And thou shalt know that I, the LORD, have heard all thy reproaches that thou hast uttered against the mountains of Israel, saying, They are destroyed, they are given to us that we may devour them.
With these and other passages we can affirm that GOD IS LISTENING TO THE SINNER, without contradicting the proper meaning that he wants to give in the text quoted.
God not only listens but sees the evils of all the sinners that swarm the planet, so much so that they come to disturb the peace of the heavens ...
2 Kings 19:28: Because you have been angry with me, because your arrogance has gone up into my ears, I will put my hook in your nose and my bridle in your lips, and I will bring you back by the way you came.
WHAT DOES GOD OF SINNERS HEAR FROM SINNERS?
Prayers addressed to God without repentance or recognition of his faults.
Jeremiah 14:10 says, "This is what the Lord says about this people: They have delighted in wandering, and have not given rest to their feet: therefore the Lord is not pleased with them: he will remember their wickedness and punish their sins ".
This attitude closes the ears of God to the sinner:
Jeremiah 11:14: Do not therefore pray for this people, nor raise up a cry or prayer for them; Because I WILL NOT HEAR in the day when in their affliction they cry out to me.
Jeremiah 14:12 When they fast, I will not hear their cry, and when they offer a burnt offering and an offering I will not accept it, but I will consume them with the sword, with famine, and with pestilence.
According to Pauline theology, ALL ARE SINNERS (Rom 3:23), but the ears of God open to the sinner when he humbles himself before his majesty and recognition of his own baseness:
2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people shall be humbled, whereunto my name is called, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; Then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sins, and will heal their land.
THEN ... GOD DOES NOT HEAR SINNERS?
He hears them all, both the religious and the villain, listens to his offenses, his lies, his deceptions, his idle words and not only what his mouth utters, even what he says in his thoughts, his intentions and even the most Deep in their hearts.
What God does not hear from the sinner is his cry for help, assistance, or petition in the midst of practice and enjoyment of his sin in conscious disobedience to his commandments, receiving as a response the judgment of God: Deuteronomy 28:23. ... the heavens which are upon thy head shall be of brass, and the earth beneath thee, of iron.
      CONCLUSION
The exegesis of the passage of John 9:31 shows that Jesus was not a sinner, since his request to God for the healing of the blind man was answered; But the textual expression of the quotation does not confirm that God does not listen to sinners properly said, because because of his Omniscience he hears everything and everyone. The passage in question is indicating that God does not listen to the petitions of sinners who delight in their crimes and sins, but does listen to the prayer of sinners who come to repentance.

I believe the answer to that is that people are easily deceived. What do you mean by successful? Wealthy and famous? That's not success. Success is receiving the crown of life from Jesus. (Rev 2) or as Paul said finishing the race, keeping the faith.
If you mean successful in the way of having prayers answered, demons can, do and will also perform miracles signs and wonders to deceive people. Witchcraft is also a thing that works in the demonic realm. Praying to the Saints is prohibited, and certainly Allah. Otherwise I know of people who pray for silly fleshly things (like a red car for example) and get one, and praise be to God! Like yeah... Maybe? But nah.

What about these? Got questions posted these as answers to unbelievers prayers
Hagar asked God to protect her son Ishmael (Genesis 21:14-19). God not only protected Ishmael, God blessed him exceedingly.
In 1 Kings 21:17-29, especially verses 27-29, Ahab fasts and mourns over Elijah’s prophecy concerning his posterity. God responds by not bringing about the calamity in Ahab’s time.
The Gentile woman from the Tyre and Sidon area prayed that Jesus would deliver her daughter from a demon (Mark 7:24-30). Jesus cast the demon out of the woman’s daughter.
Cornelius, the Roman centurion in Acts 10, had the apostle Peter sent to him in response to Cornelius being a righteous man. Acts 10:2 tells us that Cornelius “prayed to God regularly.”

I tried reading the verses you mentioned and these are the things I've noticed:
Hagar did not ask God to protect her son. God heard the voice of Ishmael. besides, Ishmael was the son of Abraham and God promised that he will be a nation.
With Ahab's story, God mentioned to Elijah that humility was the reason the disaster did not happen. Ahab did not pray but repented.
with the gentile woman, faith in Jesus what made her daughter well, not a prayer.
the man on the video explained what happened with Cornelius.
if you watched the full video, it is properly explained why unbelievers' prayers are not being answered (according to Scriptures). it's either prayers of other Christians are answered or God Himself, in His sovereignty wills it, and it's not because of unbelievers' prayers. we should not be mistaken "common grace for all" and grace exclusively for Christians.

God is for unbelievers and God hears their direct prayers. God is not Christ to receive prayers only from Christians, and is not only for believers to receive prayers only from believers. God is in all the living and is a living God for all the living.
The non-believers need God more than the so-called believers. The problem with church and believers is the 'we' and the 'us' ; the exclusiveness of the church, the discrimination of the church, the logs in the eyes of the leaders that make them hink that they are holier than non-believers. Godliness can be attained without the church and without Jesus. God does.not shut the door to Muslims, Hindus, Bbudists, pagans and others as you perceive. They know the creator and are not non-believers. Who is God to you? A god? God is definitely not in your church. Are you telling me that when you pray for non-believers in the name of God, God will not answer? Prayers directed to God, in His name by all and from all are answered faster than prayers in the name of Jesus! If you do not pray for non-believers, who do you pray for?.

The Bible states that God is God of all.
He is not only the God of Christians, or Israël. He is God of All men, The Creator of Heaven and earth
When He send His rain, it falls upon the just and the wicked.
God ear the cry and the call of All His creature, and CHOOSE sovereignly to respond or not. This is common grace.
No one can hinder God to do good to His creatures.
BUT mercy, compassion or healing or délivrance of a creature is not the salvation of a soul.
God has a special relation with His Children, they are more than creatures, they are His.
Also the beast of the camp turn to God for food and God feeds them. Men are more that animals, He can have mercy upon them, even if they don't know Him
      God can

Pastor, I have a query. How then unbelievers are healed when we pray for them. I'm sure like me, many of the believers today are yesterday's unbelievers. God healed me in a healing service, even before declaring Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. I remember asking in that service, if you are the true God heal me, even before I was saved...2 Chronicles 6:32, 33 says like this, "And as for the foreigner who is not of Your people Israel but has come from a distant land because of Your great name and Your mighty hand and outstretched arm- when he comes and prays toward this house, may You hear from heaven, Your dwelling place, and do according to all for which the foreigner calls to You." I know a person from India, a businessman, still a hindu, every time he goes to Israel and submits his prayer request at the wailing wall, he prospers in his business...I, now as a christian who believes in His word, truly believe, yes, through Jesus Christ blessings or prayers will be answered...but the above said thoughts bewilders me :)

I think God knowing the heart of a person will always answer a person who he knows is genuinely seeking him..always. I don't believe there has to be a believer praying for an unbeliever. I could be wrong but I don't think so.

I have bad doubts of salvation and I keep asking God to help me believe or show me what im missing and similar things if im not saved but if im not saved will God answer that ? Because I have accepted Jesus as saviour and I know He is the son of God but im not sure if my part in it was genuine as in was it the Holy Spirit or was it my emotion or head knowledge im not sure what to do

You were somehow drawn away to worship statues of gods that couldn’t even speak. 3 So I want you to know that no one who is speaking with the help of God’s Spirit says, “May Jesus be cursed.” And without the help of the Holy Spirit no one can say, “Jesus is Lord.” Corinthians 12

I understand that This explanation will seem very hard and harsh to many. Because how hard and harsh is the heart that expects almighty sovereign God to go against his words, his promises in order to serve those who have rejected him? While in doing so would make Christ's sacrifice on the cross unnecessary and truth useless.

Mixing in old covenant sentiments is a common practice. There is a "new and living way", as the book of Hebrews tells us.

There is a different from a wicked person and an unbeliever. Being jewish and knowing hebrew... God will answer who God feels like answering. The fact is God doesn't have to do anything. This is the reason King David begged God not to turn his ear off. David knew God will turn an ear in many situations. Moses is a prime example. Moses didn't get to enter Israel based on a mistake he made. He prayed to God and asked. God still didn't give what was asked. You could make the argument Jesus didn't live at that time. You can even make the argument that David was an Israelite so he had favor. Either way regardless God is who God is. Everyone is seen and heard. God chooses to answer based on things that only God knows and sees. There is love in all of it. There is also Justice. There is also peace. There is also retribution. There is also life. There is plenty of hope to go around as well. I could make a years worth of videos on this topic alone with biblical proof translated from hebrew to English vice versa. For those who don't pray. Pray... Seek truth.. you may find it.

Then see John 1:14 , the Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. This is talking about Jesus. You can read the gospel of John for better understanding. Good day and God bless !

The Lord says because of sin and a fallen world men can sin and their 3rd and 4 the generations down the line will suffer for that sin ! Ham sinned and his great grandson was under a blood curse because of it ! But things God does we can't understand but when things happen to kids and young people God uses those things to cause people to seek Him ! Because of things like this we feel pain and hurt and conviction for letting it happen and alot of times both the child and the parents seek out salvation in such terrible acts of evil ! This is a fallen world soon Jesus will take it completely over and Satan will have no reign anymore ! You can rest assured the person who hurts a child in any way and dies lost he will pay for eternity in eternal fire and toture ! No one will get away God is just and only through Jesus Christ and the conviction of the Holy Ghost can we find the truth in things the things of God ! You see you may not have even seeked out this video and you may have died in your sin but I pray you find the Lord and He opens your heart and you can see that God uses evil for His own good and we can't begin to understand how and why ! God bless my friend God loves you and He sent Jesus to be tortured and killed for u and your loved ones !

"God loves you and He sent Jesus to be tortured and killed"
But he lived.... so not much of a sacrifice.
"You can rest assured the person who hurts a child in any way and dies lost he will pay for eternity in eternal fire and toture ! "
But it's fine when your god does it, or when he orders others to murder them... Nice god you have there.
