- We went once again to the Festival de las Flores (the flower festival) in Aibonito, Puerto Rico. This is one of the largest festivals in Puerto Rico and one of our favorites for finding new varieties for our flower and fruit farm.
We enjoyed the music, displays, food and drink and of course came home with so many wonderful flowers and plants.
We stayed in Barranquitas at Hacienda Margarita and loved the views in this area that is known for the huge canyon there.

This was an awesome video! The drone shots above the canyon were really unique and beautiful, as well as the view from the balcony at Hacienda Margarita. I also loved the image at the end of the video with the three of you together, you are a beautiful family! ❤❤❤

🌺 That’s the hippest happiest Flower Festival ever! The Puerto Rican people make it extra fun with music and food kiosks. Thanks Amy! It's a great festival! Most of my clothes are thrift store finds, hand me downs from friends or from the pulgueros. I try not to contribute to 'fast fashion' as much as possible. Though I do occasionally find something super special in retail. This outfit is from a local family owned thrift store in Rincon called Recycle Paradise, the brand name is Valija and I loved it -especially for $8. 😻
I’m familiar with Valija, it’s a company of Puerto Rican designers, they have a store in Old San Juan. Glad you’ve been able to identify some good thrift stores - smart! ¡Bendiciones! 💃
Back in the days landscapers competed for best garden🏆. Displays were amazing.
