Hi there! Yes, it was to show that Maricao has the smallest population of the "big island" of PR (Culebra has fewer people but is not on the main island).
Hey Mike! There's a few different websites and groups online that list them. Also most of them do it around the same time each year. Almost every town has either a harvest festival like this one or a patron saint festival (fiestas patronales). So you can always ask the city. Most cities also have an encendido party for Christmas about 1 to 2 months before Christmas. Follow the municipality pages for the towns you usually visit and you'll find good info usually.
