Great job . Do i need remap after drilling? Its maybe better to remove it all DPF ? Plz let me now remap its expensive have no money for it And in my country i dont need to pass MOT What should i do Thnx in advance
You should keep it on ***Don't believe the hype, deleting without remap will cause performance and fuel efficiency loss. Touching base with petrol first: With a remap you CAN (unlikely) get 1-2% more hp. Modern catalysts and DPFs are made in such a way, that they don't hinder exhaust flow. On a remapped petrol car, it's common to see NO GAIN in performance by deleting the cat ***On diesel it depends more on the engine it self. Deleting a DPF can allow for higher boost pressure (note "can", same story as with petrol), but will the internal engine components be able to handle it? How about the gearbox, more boost in diesels produce much higher torque than with petrol, torque kills gearboxes, so will your gearbox be able to handle it or do you need a different? If you want more than 20% performance increase and/or more top-rpm performance, you'll need a bigger turbo (note that this makes the car far less enjoyable to drive within city limits. Too large turbo and it becomes straight up annoying to drive in town). ***If you don't have a lot of money atm and you want to both work on our car and boost performance a bit (really just restoring, but still, there's performance on the table) i have two advise for you: 1: Google "how to clean [your car model] EGR and intake" These are labor intensive (expensive in a shop), but easy and dirt cheap DIY tasks and if your car got over 150.000km, there a good chance you'll gain 5-10% performance and faster spool up (better acceleration) 2: Please do not make "hardcore" performance mods, they require much planning and you need to have enough money to buy a back-up car (that's actually extremely common among gearheads)
That's what I've had done but the filter is still there, filtering away, and it can no longer do regens so I'm concerned about it becoming blocked after a while. I'm probably gonna pay more for this than I did for the actual tune.
I did remove it all DPF with drill and hammer and drive it with no light's on dashboard Plz let me now remap its expensive have no money for it And in my country i dont need to pass MOT What should i do Thnx in advance It's any different solution like back plate on EGR and regeneration will never start on I dunno asking only
It's a very limited solution but what options do you have in places clearly very limited options and we moan about £150 software adjustment/remap ect an have the nerve to laugh at this
That weld looks so factory😂
Germany...Controll TÜV/Dekra ...Big Problem 😂❤😂❤
yes bro
10/10 would recommend except the weld
I have done this to my truck .good performance

@@all-about-autocan you explain? Shouldn't the smoke come out with the holes also?

Yeah, good work, but any tester who's not taking brown envelopes, will look at it and fail it.
Worst ever not pieces with get caught up in the exhaust and cause smoke and a rattle big mistake u need but it all out

This is the most easy and fast solve problem
