This is not the Caesar films but its a great continuation to this new reboot Apes series. Solid review.

I definitely left the theater feeling the same way you described! Proximus had a lot of potential as the antagonist but was very underwhelming. That final scene was very " Meh". Raka was the star of the whole movie though! The movie was a 10/10 for cinematography and sound and feel and a 5/10 for plot and character development. Maybe the next two films will build on that more!

Just came back from watching Kingdom, thought it was a great movie in the franchise. I preferred it to War as that film was too sad to make it rewatchable for me. Even though I did rewatch it for the anticipation of this movie which I give 8.5/10!

I didn't like "Rise" but "Dawm and "War" were awesome! Still rewatch them today. I'm not sure if I need to watch this, if you know what I mean.
