I think he was just pointing out how to know if it's a external bush ... your pot won't push over it... at least that's the excuse I'm using for you Polly 😂 🎣
Gotta disagree polly , I love my no1 section in my match kits with light solid elastic up to preston no 8 , only tangles when I bounce of my roller. Everything else Iam with you all the way. But then again you make a living at it so what do I know 🤔
I'm old school and would not use a poll if it was given to me. I still use my 12 foot 3 piece rod with a closed face Abu real. I am 75 years old and I have had this set up for almost 60 years and it's still like new.
Mark it,s a matrix pot if you squeeze the bottom it opens so you can put it onto the pole, so no need to push it on?
Thank you. You managed to explain every fault I've been making. And solutions. Brilliant.
Well done mark, a very informative guide, because not everyone fishing has all the answers.
Well done Polly a lot of very good advice, Thank you Polly and Matrix, ☀

Get your pivot points right with your pole rollers and the pole should never drop causing tangles.
