A bit nitpicky, but would’ve loved if you had touched on: “how Norvell using TEs and RBs out-wide on empty sets allows him to transition back to power-running, after going five wide, with zero substitutions - potentially compounding the mismatch by keeping the defense from subbing themselves.” But it’s a great video nonetheless. Thanks for making this final week of the 🤢🤢🤮-season a little more tolerable!
That's a good point and one I hadn't given much thought to. Norvell likes going fast paced after a first and going with heavy empty sets would allow you to transitions quickly to standard sets.
Good job, Kev. We knew Norvell was a creative play caller, but now we know why his plays worked as well as they did. Overall, FSU was 11 of 17 (64.7%) on 3rd down conversions against LSU: 6 of 9 (67%) in the 1st half and 5 of 8 (62.5%) in the 2nd half. They struggled to score in the red zone getting only a TD and FG in 4 trips (Ward's fumble was one of those misses). LSU converted 2 TD's and a FG also on 4 trips into the red zone (one FG attempt was blocked).
You do good work, Kev. This video was no different.
Thank you for the treat this morning, Kev. Great video! - Sammy Nole
Happy birthday!
@@XsandNoles Little early, but thank you just the same. 🤓
Love the Space Jam reference! Not to mention the rest of the video!
Haha glad someone caught it!
We're spoiled by having such awesome coverage. Thanks for continuing to educate us on the nuances of formations and play calling.
Its my pleasure!
The videos with just you or Trey are the best. Keep killing the game
Great work Kev!

Fantastic analysis as always. Kevin's breakdowns always teach me more than anyone else's on YT
Glad I can be educational! That's the goal!
Thanks for keeping up up to date Kevin
Kev love your content man. Can’t wait for the season to start so you can make more breakdowns. Keep up the good work man!
I'll certainly be busy! Glad you enjoy them!
Love the break from giving our secrets away!
I got a C&D from Norvell so I had to stop.
@@XsandNoleswow, that's a compliment!!
I was joking. He doesn't care lol
You’re doing awesome work man! Great analysis! Keep it up!
Excellent as always, Kev!
Imagine landen Thomas in that empty formations😮
Kid could be a stud. Has all of the tools.
Good stuff as always! Thanks Kev
Heck yeah I can’t wait! GO NOLES!
More great work. Love these!
Lets go Kev boy I'm ready for the season you just said it without saying we are about to be unstoppable we only lose if we beat ourselves
I really love Mike Norvell’s scheme!
Norvell is a absolute wizard offensively.

Yup he uses empty a lot in these situations because it's just so much easier to see and hunt for matchups
Homie brought out the MonStars reference.
When the shoe fits
Now I’ve got the football smarts to match the looks. 😂 Thanks Kev!
Videos keep getting better man! Great production, insight, and consistency but really what does it for me is the beat selection.
Keep it up Kev!
My wife helped me pick out new songs so I'm glad they're improving!

So her taste is musical accompaniment is excellent; her taste in men… hmmm, let’s go with “has potential - needs improvement.” 😘
Lol you've got that right. Getting 1% better as a husband every day though.

Great stuff!
I like Kev only content better than Nee and Brown droning on for an hour
Different strokes for different folks. I try to differentiate the thumbnails visually so you know what you're getting into.
Don’t worry, AB and Nee… I still love when you drone.
That is a lot of Tall receivers to soak up the main cover guys. Hell, toss in a speedster on the field and the top will spread open like the Red Sea.
Good video
Can you do an analysis of the air raid offense since Miami and Clemson will be switching to it.
I doubt Miami is going to go far from Marios preferences but I will definitely break down Riley's offense when we get to the Clemson game.
