absolutely one of the best bands to infiltrate music in the early and mid 2000's..I really wish they were recieved a little more in America...American radio reaally needs more their music!
Doves are by far the best band around at the moment. They ooze talent like you would not believe.I saw them recently in Birmingham (UK) and was blown away.
Such a great song, one of their very best tracks. So excited to be seeing them in Chicago TONIGHT! The wait for the new album and tour was worth every minute for this great band.
Just getting into this band. I heard Kingdom of Rust on Radio 1 and just had to find it on TH-cam. (Boy, have I missed out!) I hoped that one of my brood would have downloaded it for me as a pressy for Mothers Day. No such luck.
Saw these guys last night in NY. I love the video that they play on the screen on stage of the old Wigan Pier dancing. Anyone know where I can find that???? It's classic.

I like Doves. Favorite band. They don't sound like Coldplay or Oasis. Coldplay's first album is more of a band album than their last 3... kinda sad. It's not just Chris Martin and the Coldplays imo.
I don't know about de band's influencies. Could someone tell me about that? I mean, the song is great but it seems to me it's kind of weird for de british sound which the band belongs...
Relax! I was merely appreciating good music in a seemingly never ending sea of crap. I mean have you ever heard "Lips of an Angel"? Let's just say I just hope sharp objects aren't anywhere near when I hear it next. But when someone writes on a website and suggests to discover the internet and even puts it in italics...I call that man a prick.

I still regret I never got a copy of Lost Souls until 2005, truly brilliant album, especially with the US bonus tracks too (Darker et al...)
