Jen, I want to thank you! When you showed the gardyn in your video last year, I wanted one but it was too expensive for me at the time but it made me look into growing foods the old fashion way. I started some seeds in February and now I have a container garden! I’ll probably look into a smaller model or a different system for the upcoming winter season but seeing your video last year inspired me to try it!

I am learning to cook at 60 years old and I am really enjoying it. Something that has come with it is cleaning the kitchen. Much to my surprise I love washing my dishes by hand and taking pride in keeping my stove sparkling. I would be happy to win this give away. 😊
I find my flattop stove a pain to clean (not as labor-intensive as yours with the grates and elements), but it's constantly dirty, no matter what I do, easy to scratch if you aren't careful, and it's obviously dirty all the time. I feel like I'm a slave to cleaning it.
My kiddos (all boys) started doing their own laundry at age 10. With the youngest taking a little longer. Not one thing wrong with it. My oldest was always picky about his clothes..a win for me!

He's always experimenting with flavors and cooking methods. My youngest found his love with baking. He's caught on fast to breads and pues and cookies. Now that they are grown men they both can and do make complete meals. From appetizers to desserts. I think its so neat that Connor has the desire to learn and irs brings back fond memories for me. Crate and Barrel is a good place to look for furniture. I got my everyday dishes from there for my wedding 20 years ago and 3 kids and a lot of use later they are still in great shape 😊

I have a cookbook that looks like it was published by the same company as yours from your grandma...same kind of typing inside and a bright yellow color. Some good things in these oldies but goodies!
You could look for a China cabinet on marketplace or a used furniture store and paint it. I had an Ethan Allen Hutch that I chalk painted, removed the doors and added new hardware. I repurposed into a dry bar.

I put my stove grates in the dishwasher on heavy duty/pot scrubber setting and it works pretty good.
I do too. I actually put the burner things in there too. I do have an old stove.
