More great work as usual mate.. I watched your mesh boolean tutorial the other day and was really informative too 👍
Really glad you're finding them useful, plenty more on the way (and even quicker with bonus goodies for members haha).
Thanks so much for the positive comment it means a lot!
Take care, and happy printing!
Great video thank you
Glad you liked it, hope it helped! Happy printing!
Learned a lot, as usual, from this video. I would like to make a suggestion, though. Please slow down!! Together, trying to keep up with your mouse movements/location and listening to you speaking in a 'hurried' fashion, makes it very hard to follow along and keep up. Have to pause and backup constantly. It would help if the mouse curser was a different color for more contrast, making it easier to find and follow.
Once again, great information / content. Just need to work on presentation skills. :)
Thanks very much for the feedback, really appreciated.
I am actively trying to slow myself down now. I am dealing with a brain injury which in normal circumstances means I talk especially slowly, but when doing my videos, when I've got everything planned out I know I tend to just rush it through whilst the words are in my head.
But absolutely, I am slowing down and I'm working on my general process.
Really glad the video was helpful still. In the mean time, and for my videos where I do talk to fast, have you tried adjusting the playback on TH-cam to 0.75? It may make it a more appropriate speed?
Again, really appreciate the feedback and the support, thanks again, and happy printing!
I haven't tried slowing the playback speed, but I will give that a try. Sure hope you recover from your injury. Once again, I really do appreciate the work you do to provide us with this knowledge. Waiting patiently for your next one. @@3DRevolution
@@Thumpernator1 thanks very much. The recovery is an ongoing process but this chanel has become instrumental in that process and the fact that it helps others helps me even more so.
I really am glad you find my videos useful, plenty more on the way!
nice videos! i swear i hear you talk about how if youve made changes to an object and clicked on them in the object tree it will reset the settings. i cant find that anymore. do you know why this happens?
Hey, glad you like the video and sorry for the late reply.
Regarding your question, if you assign a setting to a specific object, if you then change a generic setting (for everything on the bed) the setting you've applied to the object should still remain, as that overrides the generic settings.
What you may have heard is I was talking about when you right click and select 'Reload from disk' or 'Replace with STL', whilst it will retain any settings or manipulations you've applied to the original object, around 50% of the time, it will erase any painting you've applied to that object.
Repair isn't available on Mac, sadly.
Ah yes apologies, I did mean to say. The repair function works using Microsofts Netfab API, so it's unfortunately not an option on Mac.
Thank you for highlighting.
