Thank you for your service and your support for sharing your flying lessons with us. Your ‘down home’ style is commendable & your video efforts were a good fit & most helpful. Really enjoyed the stills you included in closing, they were icing on the cake!
Hi Dave. Your transport situation is just like what mine will be once I get my gear after training (June 12 at Midwest!). Assembled paramotor on the tow-hitch deck, Foxy inside. After unfolding the Foxy and putting on the Ryder (Fly Products' video has the guy straddling the Foxy facing rear to attach the paramotor), what all has to be done still after attaching the arms and the bottom mounts? Just trying to get a feel for the setup time.
@@ParamotorPrattville That's not bad at all. As weird as it may be, setup time and difficulty is kind of a concern of mine considering I need to travel 30-40 minutes to a safe flying spot (I'm buried under a big class B). 10-15 minutes is one thing, but if it were 30-40 minutes and a pain in the butt, I know myself well enough to know that it would greatly impact my motivation to get out there. I don't do nearly as much astrophotography as I'd like for just that reason, its a real pain to transport and get all set up in the field. Thanks for the quick reply! Blue skies.
Not at the moment. I had to buy a throttle since I bought the engine separately and it didn’t have one with it. I like it. It will work with my electric start. However. The strap is attached to the bottom of the handle rather than top and bottom so it does not strap to your hand as others do. It’s not comfortable because of this. I will do something to make the strap more like the others. Cheers! 😀
Very well done!

Not too much, it’s like 10 to 15 tops when your used to it. 😀. You have to set the tension with the Velcro for the wires. Only takes a moment.

Sign me up. I’m brave!
Hey Dave, noticed you replaced the stock throttle. Do you like that one better?

I think the trike would work better with my hip replacement!
I think I would like flying a trike better. No running involved.
