Hi Amy! I loved your video. Watched it with my Sunday morning coffee! So relaxing! I am a massive lover of Beauty and the Beast so i will have to try the Amish retelling! Ha ha "el cheapo!" I thought that was so funny! 💕
Interesting to get your thoughts on The Housekeeper and the Professor! I really enjoyed The Memory Police by Ogawa but hadn't been tempted by this one based only on the blurb, so maybe I shall see if my library has the audiobook and give it a go 😊
El cheapo 🤣🤣 same! Glad you enjoyed Emma! I felt similarly…confused by several missing pieces and some of the story felt a tad superficial but Emma has a dose of Anne Shirley spunk. 🙂
That's so funny because one of the Verity Bright mysteries I just read had a character die in a murder mystery game! The Housekeeper and the Professor sounds so good! I'm so glad you found it and loved it. LOL, "may or may not be crazy" love that! Yay for Emma! 🤣 The volumes do get a lot longer and more clear too! My friend just read the first three volumes and she said Volume 2 was when she really started to get on board with it.
Beauty and the Beast is my favorite! The second one you mentioned sounds fun. The Housekeeper and the Professor sounds really good. I love Sense and Sensibility! The great Divorce is so good too. It looks like you had a great reading month.
Hi Amy, I read four books in April. My favorites were A Sky Painted Gold and The Shepards Crown (the final book in the Tiffany Aching series by Sir Terry Pratchett. For Amish in April I read Someone to Trust by Patricia Davids. The fifth book of the Harlequin Love Inspired series I'm working through. Elizabeth hosts AIA with my friend Sarah from The Bookish Knitter. I'll check out The Housekeeper and the Professor as the daughter of a mathmatician.
Oh I loved The Great Divorce!! I keep waiting to find a used copy of The Housekeeper. I think I'll face to use the library and then buy it used online if i love it. You've had some great reading!!🎉🎉
Downloading the Housekeeper one as I listen. That sounds amazing. I haven't heard of the last one--the epistolary one. Hmmm... tempting to check it out. So good to see you. There is something just so relaxing about sitting down with you.
I just started the journals of Emma M Lion also! I read the first two (borrowed from my sister) and then I saw they are on Kindle Unlimited, which I currently have. I think the further you go, the clearer the picture gets. I really enjoyed the first two and am looking forward to the others.
I got a free subscription to Kindle Unlimited for a month or two and I think many of the Emma Lion books were included in it. That is a good way to read them!
I read the first 3, I think. I’m interested to read more! I like a lot of the characters but I got nervous about where a certain plot point was headed 😅 I’m so picky about modern books.
The Leif Along was great! I'm so happy to have read them. Let me know when you decide to dive into the new one!
Enjoyed listening to you! I have heard much about the Great Divorce lately. I need to read it!
Thank you! ☺️ It’s so good. A lot to chew on! I loved reading and listening along! ♥️

I am listening to the Housekeeper and Professor based on your recommendation. Enjoying it so far. Thank you!
So many books and so little time. When I look at other book tubers channels it only makes my tbr bigger! Happy reading to you.

Yes, I think that’s it! Lack of depth! Maybe as the storyline unfolds the characters will grow?! Thank you, again! 💜 My Spanglish is not good! 😂

It was so good. But quietly good. It snuck on me as I was reading. 😌♥️🥰

@@katiewilliams5674yeah, I TOTALLY understand that. 😖♥️
Have you watched Katie’s (Books And Things) video on Mrs. Jennings? If not, I recommend it. She makes the case for her good heartedness.
