That’s a great old school baseball player right there. Most people get hard over home runs but there has only been 33 guys with 3K hits. That’s impressive considering there has been over 20K players all time.
Idk if any of you were there but fathers day 2004, he came up to bat & the crowd was chanting BIGGIO! BIGGIO! & then clack! he sends a bomb toward right field by our bullpen. Ill never forget that.
So admittedly after 5 minutes I started fast forwarding and may have missed it but seriously, winner of 4 gold gloves split between 2 positions and not 1 defensive highlight?
@@jameslisle7775 yeah I’m not worried about 22 pitches out of the tens of thousands he’s seen. He has an MVP, multiple batting titles, and is up there with Miguel Cabrera in best AL hitter of the decade
Biggio was like Superman to me when I was a kid, great memories.
im pretty sure it was just because his name sounded cool
Me too. I had the opportunity to meet the man and wimped out. It still bugs me to this day
Same but Altuve is better and the Greatest Astro of All time
I JUST WISH BIGGIO AND BAGWELL COULD OF WON A WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONSHIP ⚾💖👑💯
Those damn braves

Yankees fan my respect for Craig Biggio...one legend...

That happened a lot. He actually has the record for most lead off home runs in the National League, with 53. Saw at least two myself.
@@Gemnist98 yea i know it happened a lot but this one was a walk off HR.
I didn't realize how much I missed Milo Hamilton until I watched this.
Some iconic voices on here. Milo Hamilton, Harry Carey

I think he only got golden gloves for 2nd basemen. I don’t think he got a golden glove for catcher, nor outfield
@@ariesradke6193 You know what that's right, he got that silver slugger at catcher, my bad...still maybe just one def highlight? 😀
He was number one ☝️
Cavan would be proud
Here and just now recognize he loves to put homers out till I feel never knew that but here I come mlb 24
Greatest Astro in franchise history!
Eh maybe you still got Bagwell but Biggio is really good too.
Or oswalt
I think Altuve is ahead of Bigg
@@notsauer Biggio never cheated.

I miss BGO
When people ask why is your hat so dirty, i say, because my fav baseball player hat was always dirty
Nice vid I enjoyed it here’s a sub
I was there at when he got his 3,000th hit. Still have the ticket stub
Did he get to cooper town hall of fame
@@Jason_Bover9000 yes he did, so damn happy for him.
@@Juk3b0x_H3r0 when did he get in
@@Juk3b0x_H3r0 July 26 2015 I just found it
Biggio was who people thought Jeter was.
@SheepOfChrist818 He's right, put Jeter on any other franchise and nobody gives a shit.
Did anyone notice the failure in the high five in the first clip 😂😂😂😂😂😂
I came to this video hoping it was an eleven minutes of biggio getting hit by pitches.
Was that cavan in the dougout ?
Pine tar guy
00:14 those dudes suck at high fiving
back in the day when you didn't need a waste basket to win games..
Gotta be some of the worst homer calls ever
The days when I USED to like the Astros.
Real fans still do
