Really like the unique date window and how it preserves the symmetry of the indices. The only change I would make is making the date wheel lumed so that it preserves that symmetry even more in the dark. The blue one is just gorgeous. Too bad they are out of stock right now.

Love the white dial version. Really well priced for a 300M diver but limited editions so that is a bit of a downer. Nice to see you reponding to comments. Great quick review as always. 👍⌚😎
Looking at some older reviews, looks like they've made some changes. I noticed earlier reviews of the blue did not have a colour matched date wheel. Also their website photo shoes the white without black surrounding the indices/hands. I think the changes they've made are great.

wow....I love finding micro brands that really go all out on specs at an amazing price. Just shows great watches can be made for a fraction of the cash you would think that they would cost...
I have a blue one and really like it and the only downsides as I see it are: 1. As mentioned the tapered bracelet with pressed upper clasp makes it top heavy, perhaps they should have gone with 20-18mm taper instead. 2. A bit more subjective; for me the matte bezel insert looks more gray than black which I would prefer a more black one. Either glossy ceramic or even black aluminum would be better imo.
Hey TZ. Being the initial recommender who caused this review, I can assure you that the additional straps are of absolutely top quality. Horween is a German leather strap brand and the addition of that strap alone adds an extra value of about 25-30€ to the watch. The silicone strap is super soft and smooth and of equally high quality. And then of course, there's the watch roll and the tools. I am a watch enthusiast and I can honestly say that I really don't see how you could get a better bang for the buck anywhere. No, not even at AliExpress or anywhere else in China. And they are based in Bergen, Norway, not somewhere in Chengdu with staff that reply in gibberish when you contact them with an issue. So, yeah. If this watch appeals to you by the looks, you'd be an absolute fool not to order one. And no, I am not working for Forteller, but I love my white dial Cambrian. As a matter of fact, I am wearing it right now.
@@fortellerwatchesas322 Oh ok I see. I never got an email. I love the watch. I am asking my better half to perhaps buy me one as a Christmas gift! All the best to you from USA! ☮️🇺🇲
Finally a Norwegian micro brand that is amazing value for NOK!! Bruvik are way overpriced for what they are .........the branding, dials on these little gems look fantastic. Amazing specs from what you showed. If Carlsberg made a micro brand ...they'd make a Cambrian.....Ali Express cart cleared.....looking forward to this beauty!
Love the dial of blue (a bit of a Zelos teal dial look to it) but love the lum of the white. If I could change one thing it would be to make the date wheel lumed like Seestern do.
Our factory sadly couldn't do a lumed date wheel during the production of the Cambrian, but we ordered movements to match the color with the dial faces from seiko.
I bought the blue. It arrived in 4 days to the US. I went in the day it arrived and bought the black and white for my bros . The leather straps included are worth 100$ . Great watches
Wow. That's a tonne of watch for the money. Would actually have paid a little more for a miyota 9000 series option. The blue might be a little impulse buy for the collection.
We kind of are😅, but due to our low advertising budget we can still sell them for a better price than others(we mostly rely on our costumers recommending them to others😊).
@@fortellerwatchesas322 I have been advertising them to other watch lovers ever since I received mine. And you guys deserve it. Solid work. Keep it up.
In one of your previous videos someone commented on my comment and directed me to this specific watch. I'm very impressed with the quality. Just wondering, why would one still buy a Seiko if you can get a much better watch for a lot less 🤔
As someone who owns/has owned Seiko watches on both the lower and higher end of the price spectrum and who despite watching all the YT channels regularly that focus primarily on homages and/or microbrands does not own any I feel I can answer this question. Brand recognition/history etc is more important to me than specifications. Would rather a recognised brand with for example mineral crystal and hollow end links against an unheard of brand to the vast majority of people with sapphire and solid end links. Not one side is right or wrong I guess it is just down to the individuals personal preference. I love watching these videos and seeing the value propositions out there but when it comes to buying a watch for myself if I had a couple of hundred £ I would still go for a Seiko/Orient/Citizen etc. I guess it is the same as people paying £30 for a Nike t shirt with a tick on it over a better quality t shirt with no logo for the same price/a bit less. Apologies for the long reply just fancied playing devils advocate 👍
@@DANIELFERGUSONYEAH definitely a lot of merit in what you are saying. However, don't you think that they are just riding the coat tails of their previous successes? I mean does it justify slapdash quality control and overpricing? Just asking 🤔
@Nico Loubser yeah I do totally get that and I think Seiko need to get tighter on their on their QC certainly on their more expensive models. Generally their more expensive models get reduced down (I have a SPB185 I got for £530 new from a retail shop and at that price I think it offers good value for money. Not so much at full retail though). Do still think their 5 line offers decent value for money though and would still take for example a 5kx over a similarly priced microbrand diver (tbh I would actually go Orient at that price point but between Seiko and microbrand I’d go Seiko everytime).
@@DANIELFERGUSONYEAH Would recommend the Orient Ray ii over any 5kx if you ever want a diver from a big brand. Although our watches have better specs at a lower price that is not the only reason we want people to buy our watches. A big part of buying a microbrand product is that you can be a part of the beginning of something new(this is the reason for the Cambrian name) Looking back at the start of companies it is always cool to imagine being a part of it and we'd like to have costumers be a part of our (hopefully) long journey.
