This is not difficult and I admire your effort but this is the exact reason I paid 200 bucks, hung them up and called it a day.
i mean yeah the real ones look far sexier but i just wanted something cool for the background and its a fun project
@@NathanLewisVideos it wouldn't matter it they were exact replicas, I'd feel the same.. Like I said, I admire your effort. When I was 16 I taught myself how to install my car audio system. I wouldn't get caught paying someone to install a system in my car for many years. Fast forward to now and there is no way I would install my own car audio. Thank you for your video and keep doing whatever makes you smile!
@@cokergx3 you are just not the target for this video
@@lucasance6076 correct. Gotta watch to know that
@@cokergx3 Back in the day it was a car stereo. A few plugs, a few wires, an amp and decent speakers and you could call it a day. Now every stereo is a computer wired into the car’s… everything. Change the stereo, without doing it exactly right and the whole car won’t work.
"A word from today's sponsor- The Like button" got me😁Nice work. Thank you for this
Oh so cool! Great idea and awesome tutorial 👏🌟
Thanks bro, planning to do this along time..wait for the video
Great video! I'm going to try making these :)
Your channel is awesome. Subbed!
Thanks so much!
Wow that is so brilliant
Hypothetical Question, what do I do after I've soldered a half eaten croissant to my LED strips?
preheat the oven to 375° and start slapping chickens
@@NathanLewisVideos with the croissant?
if thats what butters your croissant
keep going💪😎🤞❤️

Bro u r insane bro

Complicated question how do I solder my crossiant
nice. would it be possible to use the controller that comes with nanoleaf and just attach it to these?
you could but i wouldn’t reccomend it
I really love all your stuff, i have the same interest, i make things like you, so your videos helps a lot, to get inspiration
just watched your Flash 3 video. Best thing ive ever seen, just subbed
Good job but you could have used milky colour acrylic sheet for the front it would give cleaner look and better diffusion
yeah my local hardware store didnt have that unfortunately
@@NathanLewisVideos you can sand normal acrylic glass as well
Hi cool vid
Thanks!
Cool but HOW DID THE LIKE BUTTON DO THAT?
Use a polycarbonate sheet it will look better
What kind of material is used for the strips ?
Plz reply
bro i just saw this, the strips are made of the same foam board as the rest of it
3:27 what paper?? Plzz reply!??
Yes, its just regular paper
Would it still work if the externals are 3d printed?
yes, but i’d recommend still using plexiglass to cover the front for the clean look
Hi Nova
hi cyber
Can I blame you if/when my house catches on fire because you recommended "thin wire" (22g in your example) to join the LED sections together. You do realize that the LED strips can carry as much as 10 amps. Table 310.16 of the NEC, the source for wire size to amps, states to use at least 14 gauge copper wire. Please do your research before making recommendations that might burn someone's house down.
Most peoples LEDs are 12V 2.5A or 24V 5A. Also wouldn't that voltage be spread across the 4 lines? As long as the cord from the power supply to the LED controller is standard, it should be safe right?
Plz do one to make people name plz
make someone’s name?
:)
Sorry but thats a fail in my book! you can see all the led hot spots, that really takes away from the over all look!Need to try 2.0
