This is one of my favourite videos of yours Nikki. So appealing and useful. (But they're all great) I really like your down-to-earth style. No pretense or trying to impress. I see a gracious, giving heart. Thank you and God bless.
En français, s’il vous plâit... 😂 cahier is French for notebook. Yippee. Ka (like the snake in Jungle Book) and yay because YAY, THIS IS A CUTE TUTE, ‘Ka-yay’ you are now a certified French speaker.🥳🥳🥳
Wow, you explained this so clearly and your process is straightforward, unlike the process I followed a while ago for a very similar journal cover - thank you for simplifying it! 🎉
I loved the tidbit about the size of the journal being more satisfying. You didn't ask and it doesn't matter but.... "Cahier" is pronounced kah-YAY like yipeekiyay! 😄 Cahier is French for little notebook or exercise book. So cute.
This is a beautiful project. BTW cahier is French for Book. Up here in Canada it's pronounced KY YAY. Long "I "on the KY znd then a big Yay like hooray !! The s on the end is silent. You are amazing!! Love all your designs and tips !!
Quick question… Does the interfacing on the flaps go down toward the front of the cover or up away from the cover? I’m using directional fabric for the flaps so I need to think ahead before I iron it on. Thanks for all you do. 🌹 your game tile bag is a big hit at our house.
Now that I think about it, it doesn’t matter too much because the flap fabric is inside the book and both sides support each other. You can’t tell which half has the iron-on interfacing. 😂

I absolutely love this! My grandkids will have journals in their futures! Thanks so much!? ❤

Love these, thanks for keeping it simple. I need to try those little notebooks…I also rarely finish a “big” notebook.
This will fun to make for the grandkids this summer! Thank you

You’re right, it doesn’t matter! :)
