Watching this video makes me proud to be a Kiwi... albeit one living on that other big brown island alongside NZ. Good blokes who work hard and have a plan.
Marcoboats should have a dealer in every state in Oz.. He would make a killing! These master crafts are something special! These NZ boys build super tough sexy rigs 🦾🦾🦾
It's amazing! If you put some more complements like a kitchen with fridge, drink water and a potty could be a nice boat for fishing weekends and vacations!

First time seeing any of your stuff, awesome little vid, cracking boat and real tops way to end it too. It's nice to see a group of blokes that know their stuff, get on with the job and do a stellar job! Cheers
You folks down south really know how to build some solid boats. I saw my first real life stabicraft rolling down the highway up here in the states this spring and it was a thing of beauty. I live in the land of rivers and fishing oriented jet boats but the builders here favor full length lateral stringers which saves on material and lightens the boat. However, I've heard numerous stories of stress cracks forming in the hull around these stringers as a result of the stress riser they create. Keep on setting that bar and maybe one day us american boys will catch on.
There are definitely some amazing boats created in New Zealand. Marco boats are built with full length stringers also but I haven’t heard of one cracking? I would guess/assume that they didn’t have enough or strong enough stringers if they were cracking? Stringers are obviously a very crucial part of the boat 🤪😂 Thanks heaps for watching and taking the time to comment 😎😁👍
@TheLateralLine I think it's because they you two very tall stringers that also support the entire deck, then terminate ubrupty into the curve of the bow. Great for disturbing the motor load since they are welded into the transom but concentrate the the bow stress. Typically isn't an issue until you hit a rock of beat the bow into big wind chop for a few years. I digress. Bottom line is the way you guys stack a couple dozen deck risers off the heavy hat track is a much better design and if I ever get the itch to build one myself, I will totally got the that route, even if it is a bit more material and a lot more time.
Nato man Marco boats are brilliant and hope they get there outlet's and what an amazing boat and man what brilliant lures he makes and then Milian house that to is looking amazing and looking forward to seeing it finished so until your next video Nato Chur Chur from your brother John in Aus

I could see this kinda boat do well on the great lakes and northern lakes of the USA. Lots of people like tin boats up north because of the rocks in the lakes etc. Also the price has to be right because alot of ppl are tired of the super high boat prices in the USA atm. It has to be cheaper than a LUND. if i was a dealer id give you guys a chance. i might even mention it to my dealer friends. Interesting boat GL.
Chur chur for the mention brother 😎 that’s awesome 😁 I totally understand your comments around costs of boats, it’s gone crazy 😳 but it is what it is. The materials needed to create these boats have risen considerably recently and everybody involved in the build process needs to make a living. The boats cost what they cost to create and I guess it’s up to the consumer to determine wether the cost is equal to its worth and buy it or not? If we weren’t creating the lateral line we couldn’t afford a boat. Thanks for watching 😎😁👍
What an awesome boat and a talented bloke. Those handmade lures are a work of art! Tell me that tent has electric rams to open it, that would be awesome!

Should have used rivets instead of welding it. They last longer and hold up way better. Also easier to repair. If a weld cracks. You need to re weld the entire piece again.
We are gonna have to agree to disagree on rivet’s being better then welds when building a boat brother 🤪 can you please show me one example of a boat that is 5 meters or bigger that has been built using rivet’s and no welds?.
