Almost 7,000 people turned up on 14 January to attend talks on love and chastity by Jason Evert, a renowned American author and motivational speaker.
Organised by the Archdiocesan Commission for the Family (ACF), the one-day event comprised four sessions - two similar talks at the Church of Divine Mercy for parents and one each for young adults and youth at Max Pavilion.

Why didn’t you discuss that using NFP to avoid pregnancy can only be used (ie continence can only be chosen over the marital debt) when there are serious motives or grave reasons?

People hate me for this. Being an advocate for true love chastity and being so soft spoken I don’t speak up. I feel I want to get into a relationship when they are my friend first. I don’t want to get too close with someone so much that soon.. People seem cynical. Probably he hates becuase he has to. He thinks that if he talks to me face to face we won’t “break up” literally because he doesn’t wants to be my friend either. So, he abuses me very passively. People always hate me at some point. 😞

ingrid he is attempting to reach out to a large variety of people from all different walks of life. Most people don't like the message of self control and are inclined to not listen. Jokes are made for him to draw people in and keep them listening

The problem is, I already listened to another of his lectures. It had all the same jokes. I mean, there are many talks eighty minutes long, each having forty minutes of subject matter. And the other forty minutes is dedicated to the same jokes.
