Your flight skills are amazing Mr. Kim. I'm new at this and live in a very small home in Osaka. I struggle with turns and it's often windy outside but I'm not giving up. I love these little flyers. Best, Ed
I stand corrected. Upon receiving mine, it actually came with Xing 1204 4500kv motors. Absolute lil beast of a toothpick. Got mine for under $100 shipped, and found a deal for 5 Ovonic 450mah 4S batteries for $30.
Yeah, I was considering switching my micros to Emu which worked well on my EaTwig but 4.1 seems to do the trick as well. The VTX tables are annoying but I think I’ve gotten the hang of it now and it’s just a simple step during setup. What I find makes it easier is to just check how the FC comes configured (Tramp or SA) and then use that info when pasting in the table.
Easy, just use the Crossfire nano RX and the TBS Nano 32 vtx and you don't need to set the tables up at all. All VTX adjustments done through the Nano RX lua script on your TX.
Cheers for this test, I'm excited to see more 1204s coming to market would love to see even 1303-04 also. Those batteries in both 2s and 3s are great for toothpick, I measured half the internal resistance compared to standard whoop style 300mah batteries
Hope you got it when the 20% discount code was out earlier... it's a good source just for the parts. I personally don't like the frame style with the braces. I've gotten stuck in trees too many times with this style.
@@AlbertKimTV Yes I saw crazy good price during last week. If I was on market like I was about year and a half ago when I came into droneracing hobby, then I would definitely buy it. Even now I think is good price comparing to some Tyros. But in this year and a half I got allready 5 drones(from Snapper7 up to 5 inch) and for a while I don't need to buy new one. ;) (Heh I don't have any tootpick yet). Actually I won one 5 and one 3 inch on giveaways. :) It's true most of mine fleet is 2 years old from when was released. But still flies good. Maybe some upgrade at cameras is needed. You think is any sense to upgrade older drones to betaflight 4.1? Thank you. P.S. I like your giveaways too. I really liked BetaFPV HX115, Larva-X and Twig at last giveaways. (Y)
Really want you to do a video on the Vtx table setup or how you go about setting it up in 4.1 That is some really nice motors to put in the category with the rcinpower 1204 and the amaxinno 1303.
@@fpvnycdream_4197 yey I just ordered 2 spare frames and all come with 4 hole mounts.. On there website the pics show it as 3 hold.. May it's just luck.. Duno. But this freaking 3 hole, I always kill the motors, so I hope with 4 it will be hold up 👆
Have you upgraded the rx to increase the flying distance since they have added a connector? Would make a good vid which could be applied to other spi receivers. I did upgrade mine with the Betafpv 1204 5000kv motors. I’m going to try it with the Gemfan Hurricane 3016 tri-blades to see if there is a difference. Thx!
Hey there Albert! Got a set of these the other day. Look really nice! I actually have three different 3 inch builds, an airblade intrepid mini, a GTB 339 frame, and the Kebab TP3... I also have eachine 1105 5200kv (off my twig haha), these 1204 5000kv, and the Apex 1303.6 5555kv motors. I was thinking the intrepid might benefit best with the 1303.6 being a tad heavier and with the top mount battery... maybe the 1204 on the TP3 and the 1105 on the diatone? lol great review as always, these twigs do may decent part quads when they go on sale. Have a good one!
Don't buy Crappymodel motors. Just don't. Going taller on the stator increases current draw and torque, but more so amp draw, so 1106 1206 1207 motors are not good for this class of 3inch. These 1204s and the FPVcycle/RCinpower 1204s, and the Amax 1303 are your best choices. I think the Amax 1303 is the best Twig TP3 motor available atm.

That's the spirit! You're not alone, it's hard to fly sometimes for me too.... Fly when you can fly
Looks like a great combo. Love the sound of the 3 inch props!
I recently purchased the iFlight turbobee 136RS. It comes with Xing 4200kv 1104 motors. Absolutely considering going for these 1204 5000kv for sure

Wow those motors make that twig flying smooth and locked in, the sound also good.
WOW, Very smooth and fast with the new motors... Great job!
Nice! I am also liking 4.1 for painless tuning and these new 12- and 13-sized motors seem like the business for lightweight 3”:)
I am also hearing great thing's about 4.1 maybe the new and improved 3.5.7 for micros. Just not liking the vtx table setup in 4.1

Loving all these twig videos so pumped to get mine this week!!
I really want to see the motors look like on the HD version. That's the one I ordered. You think the escs can still handle it?
Twisting the motor wires looks dope!
Really want to try those motors on my TP3 and Twig when they come state side !
Nice bro.....my son just got these motors and betafpv 20amp for a 115mm build ....should be a pretty sick build !!!!
I am totally doing this mod..it was flying super nice.
Yeah!
I somehow really like Eachine TWIG. For me is the best low cost drone right now on the market. Flying looks good, FPV looks good. Thats all I need.

Gday Albert, those are some nice motors great flying mate.👍🛸
Another great video 👍.
Got them on my Larva-X and is a beast!!!

Oooo I really like that color too, 2mm shaft might've been nice, but idk
Thanks for the great video. Too bad none of the other reviewers are giving the Eachine TWIG a fair shake.
They all got intimidated by the trolls. I DGAF about trolls. They can all go to hell.

I was looking at the RCinPower 1204 . n the Happymodel 1105 5000kv
Or the 1206 GepRc
Nick Burns covered the 1206.

Great fly Albert ! Have you found the right PID tuning on these 1204 ? Because I have the same propwash issue
I haven't messed with it yet. Try reducing filtering and check motor temps.
Hey Albert would you go 1204 or 1207 on a HD toothpick for 2 and 3s ?
1204 for sure. 1207 is overkill and will destroy your lipos.
@@AlbertKimTV Glad I asked then lol. Cheers 👍
@@AlbertKimTV What's a good kv for 2-3s on 1204s ?
I am considering these as replacement for my 1104 4200kV BeeMotors on my iFlight Turbo Bee 136.
😁
will this fit on beta 95x v2
The motors sound smooth> Which battery were you running?
battery is linked in the description
Pretty sweet flying, Albert! Sweet and smooth! 😃
When you can, try those props in the HD version!!!
Have you tried that?
@@AlbertKimTV I did and got almost no jello! 😃
It's my last video, near the end. You can recognize it because the props are red. 😊
Nice motors 👍
I got 5 of them alongside the 20a aio fc
I just bought the same along with runcam split nano whoop. I hope theses motors are good with the extra weight.
Sorry I don't understand English very good. Can you run the twig 115 in 4s just with this motor?
Not on a 3 inch prop. Maybe if you go down to 2.5 inch prop.
Hi AK, great idea there 👍 Do you think this twig will fly longer if swap to 1106, 4000kv motor with 850mah 4s? 🤔
That's a much bigger battery so it will fly longer.
Those are the nicest beta motors ever
Yeah, I think so too
I got some a one motor is stiff and doesn’t work
email betafpv support
These look awesome but I can't pay $12-13/motor. A $9 Diatone Mamba 1204/1303/1404 etc etc, would make my year.
Diatone doesn't make that size motor yet. I think they have the 1105 motor.
