In the ray fight, Hi5 tried to isolate slowbro with that heavy slam + gardy ult. But it ejected button to ult absol. Was really cool how they targetted the biggest threat to their victory, and how it was countered
Clefable went from a not pick to a must pick in a patch. Its crazy how much healing I see per game.
Clefable was essential in this game, kept the whole team alive

It is a high risk high reward character. Even in low ranks i find it tough but it’s SO VISCERAL a playstyle! “Hey you! I’m gonna jump ya! GOT MY BACK STAB! Now i dash out, you missed your auto, when am i gonna jump back RIGHT NOW BUDDY BEFORE YOU CAN THINK! I think slowbro chocked soo hard ultimating absol, he just had to go for gardevoir
i wonder how well this would work against a comp with a bit more stuns the enemy team doesnt really have too much of it
slowbro should go surf instead to solve that problem
they also couldve gone clef instead of eldegoss, then the absol wouldnt have been able to do much (or literally anything at all)
Absol might pick Full Heal if he has knowledge of enemy comps but potion is also fine.

@@bojuu i think picking away Clef from MYS in pick ban phase is vital to absol’s performance, he doesn’t have the range or attack speed to make auto attack builds work and has to weave them between his abilities.

Swear potion on any defender looks normal but then a gengar uses it and i'm confused
Gengar has a lot of sustain with its spellvamp so Potion or Focus is quite good

@@aitorchul2262 But it is. Think of it this way, if you live literally 1 extra seconds you get off another Dream Eater/Shadow Ball combo or Sludge Bomb/Hex combo, get the kill and heal even more.
@@spoonbender3062using potion on a ranged, squishy, speedster with no mobility sounds kinda counterproductive?
potion may not be completely useless, but the utility and safety of both eject button and full heal gives is almost invaluable
(also i may not agree with it, but focus band IS an option you can run on gengar for slightly more survivability)

I watched the whole video but still couldn't notice how the potion made the difference
Just watch absol. Absol kept going back out, use potion, then going in again. That’s how they were able to keep using pursuit and eating the mons consecutively. Snorlax would set up and clefable would support. If not for potion, absol wouldn’t be able to stay in the fight and apply pressure by just being around. You can notice this first in the first top gank when snorlax rotated. Absol bought a lot of time with two berries and the potion.

BUT FOCUS BAND IS BAD ON ASSASINS AMIRITE
If have a potion u don't need focus
They work in tandem, the playstyle works better with both. Its a clever adaptation to the meta.
I agree with spoon, having both means you have sustain and burst healing.
Let absol mega evolve in unite

If any comp player plays hex Gengar it will absolutely be broken except minimum 20 kills at least
