The fact that it was a 50% increase on psycho cut and the move (as a projectile or long range combat move) is still weak as hell is so funny. Seriously, one time I played absol in the trainer legacy mode, got 6 attack weight stacks, was at level 15, and got a crit against a claydol, and it didn't even do 500 damage. That's how weak it used to be before the buff. If a move is so weak to begin with, a 50% increase changes nothing.
Blud ,it's not that damage alone ,it's the basic attacks after psycho cut that matters... And still it got bufffed which it didn't needed anyways ,absol is in every game and is BROKEN in any move set
It’s still really good for increased burst damage, remember when it used to inflict enough bonus damage to shred Dreadnaw with a single unite move?
@@jaidora I wasn't playing during absol meta lol. Just so you know, I started playing before ttar release and got mew before greninja.
The only issue imo is that pursuit is a huge gamble. Someone can get 5 backstabs in a row and still not KO a squishy because of low damage rolls. They gotta at least make the damage guaranteed imo.
@@gudrunlourinho4688 back then the plan was night slash because of the increased damage and Crit rate but I still stayed with pursuit because of the mobility. It’s great for taking out attackers with low defenses but needs careful planning to knock out tanks and all rounders
Decidueye literally could’ve snipped that Ray, but he was an Ult Decidueye. 😂
They really should just show the scores. If they don't want people to grief then they should actually punish people for griefing instead of the slap on the wrist at most that they currently get.
The only buff absol players needs is luck - to crit.

I really love this video for how well you played in a tough situation at bottom lane. This is a great example game for people to learn from.
Has anyone been losing rating even with an afk? I've had 2 games this season where there were only 4 votes in the surrender vote, and both games it didn't show the -10 when I reported, and I lost rating both games. Its unacceptable
Had the same issue in a master rank game the other day, one person stayed at base for over half the match. Reported them and instead of showing -10 it instead did the confirming menu. Complete BS. I dealt with it way more than before in this season it seems.
The difference a front hit pursuit KO can make though, I know it’s a small buff, but that tiny bit of extra damage on a missed back shot is low key clutch in most games I’ve had with it
i’ve been scared of absol just happy he don’t get to much play time
I like using it with charging charm but Amp is a solid option

I main Absol and so happy he is doing well still, I just hope they do not nerf him because I feel Absol is a pretty balanced and fair speedster with counters if you play against them correctly and remember their general cd's.

Yeah no I honestly wouldnt want to see the score the entire game.. it would be stressful and I agree people would grief this game even harder than they already do without it.. I love Unite but the playerbase barely takes this game serious enough to be given that sort of chance.
there are pros and cons... the amount of times idiots want to surrender just because they died 2 times early game is insanely high... there are so many games i carried to victory where they just want to surrender or afk in base :| they dont understand how 99% of the score is decided in the last 2 minutes of the game... you always want to let the enemy start ray fight or ambush them on their way to ray kill enemy team > secure ray go together and score cause shield etc > win by big big margin cause of x2 score easy win, but sometimes even if you lose ray you can win but way harder to defend against that almost impossible so pretty much whoever kills ray wins the game sadly
EDIT: lot of players after 5 minutes stop farming which is also insane... i always go farm up go sneaky goal scoring then they surprised when im 2 level higher than them

hey spragels, i know you really care about the pokemon unite community. that's why i was hoping that you could use your platform to bring to light the issue concerning voice chat bans in this game. the problem is that players who provide constructive criticism to their teammates using vc, can get vc banned, simply with just a report for offensive language. it is regardless of whether the "offender" in question actually did use offensive language in vc. this is unfair to the portion of players in this community who actually care about the game and want to communicate with their teammates. it is easy to abuse this report system because anyone who enables vc can simply be falsely reported for offensive language and receive the banhammer. whats worse is that the vc ban durations are compounding, meaning consequent vc bans will increase in duration, and there is no way to decrease the ban duration. timi is essentially banning the players who care about this game, and is slowly killing off this game. i hope that you can use your platform or your position as a well-respected individual in the pokemon unite community to send a message to the developers of the game
