You should check what Neuvillete says in his voice lines about vision. He talks about shades: " All fragments of the primordial one were driven to devour each other".
My dad and I have been losing it over this update. He's been helping me build a timeline of events for Teyvat's history and we've been theorizing along the way. Finding out that Phlogiston is the original form of the elements proved a point my dad's been making since he started playing a few months ago. Needless to say our minds are blown lmao. I can only hope that the Natlan patches prove my favorite theory correct too...

I'm wondering if giving the Traveler an Ancient Name is something of an unintentional trap, since that involves recording their story to Natlan's Night Kingdom, which might count as recording them into Irminsul, making them vulnerable to Irminsul changes.
@@lnsflare1 that's something confusing to me, we've affected Teyvat so why would we not appear in Irminsul. Does Irminsul show Ei as having inexplicably changing her entire frame of mind over nothing. All the places where we did something is it empty or is there information, just not from our point of view.
I believe that’s the most likely outcome! But I’m very curious about whether or not there’s a familiar connection between the traveler and Celestia that’ll explain why they were chosen..

I honestly don't think the Traveler will follow their destined path. There's a whole lot about defying fate and choosing your own path in life throughout Genshin's story, and I feel like whatever Traveler chooses, it won't be what they were supposed to do. Like, if they are a creation or successor to the Primordial One, I think they'll inevitably end up siding with the dragons. Or if they were summoned to fight off the Abyss, they will probably decide to seek balance with it instead. (For that last part, I'm going off of the idea that Ashikai proposed in her latest video. It suggests that the Abyss is necessary to the stability of Teyvat and that making peace with it will solve a lot of the issues Natlan and other regions are facing. I think it fits really well with Genshin, especially considering the other Hoyo games' stories, e.g. Kiana embracing Finality.)

Well... I believe the sisters are Paymon, ( sonnet small song), Asmodeus (Arya, song that sings itself), Istaroth (Cannon, song that repeats itself - reference to Istaroth's sansaras like Rukadevata and Nahida). Three mythological goddesses: young, mother, crone. Three goddesses of destiny: birth, life, death which translate in lore as: Destiny, time, death. If we take the reference, the seelie could be the shadow of life, which (according to Fontaine and Remuria), can portray Sybilla and Remus. Seelie being a natural being of the planet helping Phanes to recreate ( power of life).

i think paimons the pearl in the story of the prince and princess sent to find the pearl mostly bc ive been making an effort to play all the quests and i did most of the aranara quests and theres so much khanriah lore here aswell as paimon and traveler lore, traveler is described by the aranaras all but one, as golden nara, one describes him as a monster with the ability to change fate, 'the boy whose eyes and soul are as golden as the sun, thy name is nara traveler/aether/whatever you called him at the start' while paimon is a rainbow balloon (circle object) with strings that are connected above the sky itself, plus arayasa (aranara) calls paimon 'the pearl in moonlight, pure as silver, thy name is paimon' i truly think paimons the key to getting to celestia, she is WAY more then a mora-treasure obsessed guide, shes gonna use her powers someday, (maybe in natlan since traveler and her are seperated for the first time, shes going to be a DIRECT target the second he leaves, according to all the books i found in natlan so far, theres so many mentions of a silver pearlescent fairy in one of the stories that was chasing after gold and all the endings involved the fairy being protected by light and the abyss by the sounds of it 'dark gunk trapped the fairy while golden light surrounded her, like the stars and moon themselves rewrote her fate' in the book line 'tales of earnest light' in natlan i found some of them near the ancestral temple and some around the children of echoes
So I was looking through the genshin manga and it reveals so much about Natlans future. In the manga aether has the pryo element and goes to ask venti if entering celestia makes him a god. I hope celestia wakes up soon and calls aether to enter celestia
I doubt phlogiston flowed through the old irmunsul,(although there is a quest in natlan that has a big tree that copes quite well with phlogiston) I suspect there was a different ley line system. As there seems to be many ways to remake the ley lines or even make alternate ones like the loom of fate or natlan's night kingdom. So I think leylines were there was but it wasnt a tree, maybe crystal paths instead?
As a foe against El Capitano, I would say Vedrfolnir, Dainslief’s brother! Why would the storyline 2/3rds of the way through everything have Dainslief bring up his OLDER brother and have Capitano admit he is also Khaenri’ahn? Now Capitano did say he knew of Dainslief and how angry he was and probably is, as well as erosion problems they both may have. Dainslief has older brother problems and whether jealous or admiring his older brother, Capitano explains who he is and puts into context why he might have a foe in Vedrfolnir. Vedrfolnir was a royal Madge in the court of King Irmin and one of the five sinners who started the war in 500 and caused the cataclysm. (Side note. Pierro was also a royal Madge and the Traveler lived with him prior to the war and before Pierro became head of the Fatui.) Capitano must have known Pierro and that was how he became part of the Fatui. I would think he has more of a reason (if Vedrfolnir is living and who knows maybe he is!) Capitano would have more reason to go after him than anyone else. I have a feeling, (maybe I’m totally wrong) Pierro broke with Vedrfolnir and went to the Tsaritsa and became head of the Fatui. Which makes sense that he might take and angry younger brother Dainslief’s and Capitano with him. Now one other thing. I have often believed Dainslief was the twelve unknown Harbinger. He was undercover to Pierro as the Boughkeeper to make sure the Traveler was under control with potions, magic and use of Irminsul to make them think they were the abyss Prince/Princess.
HSR, Honkai Impact, Genshin and GunGirls Z/Houkai Gakuen 2 (FlyMe2TheMoon and Zombiegal Kawaii are too but they don't have much story) are canonically in the HonkaiVerse confirmed by Devs. I recommend watching Homu Labs for the whole connection. If you have never played HI3/GGZ you will be surprised about how many details and connections surround all 3 games

I believe the angel just said Ronova is “the one we want to know about” because she was the one who granted Mavuika the power needed to push the Abyss back.

What if today's 7 nations ARE kaenriah? We know that kaenriah was destroyed, that pure blooded kaenrian got cursed with immortality and immigrants into hilichurls. But maybe kaenriah expanded to all of Teyvat before falling, and celestia "spared" part of the human population (the forefathers of current inazuma, Natlanians, etc) and tempered with irminsul to make them forget their origins? And the twin wants to restore the original memories so that the people of Teyvat will resume the war towards celestia? I have a feeling the twin is just using the abyss for that goal, and will dispose of the abyss too if they succeed.
I think the biggest piece/ of evidence to your theory are 3 things: 1. The upside down statues both in the chasm and in Monstadt 2.The fact that King Deshrets pyramid has an upside down pyramid on top of it 3.the fact that Dainslief says “Khanriah is a nation without a god” meaning that the statues don’t represent an archon, but most likely they’re memorials for fallen soldiers
