How nasty of the interviewer asking Hailey that. Selena and Justin had so many breakups and Justin saw many girls in their breakups. Selena at that time did not take her medications for her bipolar condition which she admitted and had rages due to her bipolar and broke up with Justin besides scaring him. Justin and Selena were never married and Hailey couldn't be a homewrecker. Justin married Hailey- case closed. It is not Hailey's or Justin's fault he asked Hailey to marry him. Their relationship is calm compared to his with Selena and most people don't marry their first love. Too many young girls are jealous of Hailey because Justin married her.
I believe the interviewer was giving her a platform to clear the air. A lot of times the questions have to be cleared prior to the interview. I could be wrong! But I think this question was well intentioned.

I think you’re correct. Also, in law enforcement, a general rule is the more words a person uses after what should be a simple yes or no answer, usually means they’re lying. They’re trying to convince the other person that they’re innocent when they’re not.
