- Our house isn't much but its ours and and we love it especially since my husband has worked so hard to provide everything for us. This is Fort Hood and we just moved here a few months ago and I think I have things how we want them for now I hope you enjoy!

I could be wrong, but my house is this exact floor plan so I feel safe to say this is Commanche 3 housing for anyone who is curious.
We go there this summer! We’re coming from jblm and we hate it up here!
You got very lucky. I don’t know what village that is but we live on fort hood as well and our house is falling apart and we have maintenance over every day because something breaks.

How is a wooden toy better for the environment? It was made from wood that grew for decades, there was possibly a lot of waste in making the toy. A plastic and wooden toy both can be passed down or donated to goodwill. A plastic toy is less likely to cause damage to the floor/window. Toys usually have a short longevity anyway. A plastic toy weighs less so costs less to transport.

I love your house. I'm moving to Fort Hood with my husband in March. Was it a difficult process for you to find a house there?
Chanel Goldsmith thank you so much! I’m going to to lie, it was a long waiting process. We applied for housing 5 months before getting there and we let them know what community we wanted to live in. Finally one week before we moved they finally called and let us know they had a house open for us. Just ask them to explain all the housing the have available. A lot of the homes are older here but there are a few new homes and many homes that are renovated. 🙂 just depends the season you are moving and how many others are on the waitlist before you. Apply as soon as you can if you haven’t already.
Living With Lex thank you so much. I didn’t know you can apply that far in advance. I’m on the housing website now and taking a look at the different homes so I’ll send in the online application this week. It’s my first move as a military spouse so it’s all new. Thank you again.

That's what I wanna know as well, my husband and I pcs to Fort Hood in September and I'm having a rough time with the housing. The only one I like so far is Comanche 3...there newly renovated.
We use to live at Ft Hood & this definitely looks like Comanche. Definitely the renovated ones
