I doubt they spent much time on it. They probably just did a search for the player's name in previous highlight clips and picked the first one they liked. Some of them aren't particularly amazing shots.

I was surprised to see Tsonga and Gasquet at the bottom. Even Cilic was put of the 30s, it seems the top 50 is highly competitive especially now that we have young talents like struff & others who are insanely skilled

For Goffin I would have put passing against Rafa at the Masters, and for Tsitsipas the around the net at the ATP Cup.

That level Federer found out of nowhere while being down 3 match points in that match against Zverev in Shanghai 2019 is one of the craziest things I have seen in tennis. Being match point down, returning 200kmh+ serves, and those nets skills, I mean the return and half volley on the break point just says it all.
