The clearances on these inlays are incredible.. even with a CNC router, the amount of painstaking work that goes into this really is impressive man. . If I didn’t just watch this video and see you make it I would never believe that this was wood… not only is it wood it’s several different species of wood all glued together. Wow, that’s all I can say. My hats off to you my friend, you’ve mastered your craft for sure.
You combined my new and my old passion and made me smile for the hole Video! Can you remember the times when the first turn was like: Land, Lotus, Channel, Fireball... Still deadly :-)
The complexity of this project just melted my brain. Just orientation of the grain pattern of the inlays completely blew my mind. You sir are a definitely a master or your craft.
You are doing some of the most complex and intriguing CNC work on TH-cam. Probably the world. I continue to be amazed by it. I am a 'traditional wood worker' and want to get a CNC and learn how to do work at this exponentially next level. Thank you for showing the way!
What a stunning piece of work your a genius at what you produce, It was so enjoyable watching you produce this cutting board, I love it when you put the different colour pieces of wood to highlight certain features of the board genius
It always makes me mad when I hear somebody say using a CNC isn't woodworking. You don't make something with such high quality by simply using a fancy machine. You make something like this from years and years of practice. Amazing video as always.
From Ottawa, I can truly say, "you are the man"! Initially, I thought it was Star Wars grogu but in the end, it turned out to be his pissed off uncle 🤣! Good work!
You keep amazing me with your creativity, a huge inspiration to me and many others I believe. Keep doing what you do best. Well done mate. Just need to save up and get the bits so I continue. 👍👍🙏🙏🙏
If you'd ever consider posting even a paid tutorial on your V Carve process/settings, I'd be interested. I bought vetric but haven't gotten proficient in it yet, clearly you have this thing down to a science, just putting it out there, you have some knowledge people might be willing to pay to learn.
How long roughly from thought to inception does something like this take? This appears to be an absolute ton of work from file creation, mathematical precision to finished product. That doesnt include if you happen to have a hiccup and have to fix. Love the work
Do you sometimes get cracks or small gaps in the inlays? And how do you deal with them? I've had a couple inlays crack along weird grain lines or whatever, and have just been packing them with glue and sanding them over. If you know a way to prevent that I'm all ears.
i am trying to avoid glue gaps and make my inlay as tight as possible. But wood cracks are unpredictable. If the crack is dramatic, I can redo the inlay part. If not, I leave it as is; fill the crack with beeswax.
I'm always really surprised at this.. Why dont you use a larger bit to plane off the excess material? I use a 1.5 carbide surfacing bit. Is it because you like to take a deeper depth of cut? You shouldnt have to worry about chip out with a surfacing bit
I've said this before, itvwould be a shame to actually use it as a shopping board, me personally would have a stand made and use it as a piece of art, it's amazing what you do with them, I just love them, Ste 🇬🇧
Hay que separar. La técnica en realizar el trabajo, admirable. La elección del motivo, pésimo. Una chica sonriendo, una mascota, un paisaje, etc. Pero ....
Great piece of art work, but as a cutting board, not good. Why? Because all the different types of wood used, which does not lend itself for the ease of use of a knife. Wood texture play a part in cutting and there are far too many different textures for a blade to contend with. Also who the hell would want to use that board for preparing food because of the symbolism of Satan about to eat a human being. Are you fuquing nuts??? About the best you could use that piece of art for is hanging on the wall as a symbol of your dark heart.
The board is made with end grain. It’s perfect for cutting and will preserve the knifes edge. The motif isn’t Satan, it’s a Djinn. Djinn are neither innately evil nor innately good. And the Djinn about to eat a human is your imagination working, he’s merely holding him. Amazing work by Broinwood!
@@Demonyaa Sorry but that is not end grain my friend. Calling the design motif a Djinn does not make it any less Satanic. Also Djinn were not known for being altruistic except in fairy tales, as in Disney's Aladin. I used to be a meat cutter years ago and I know what end grain boards look like because I've used them.
How to find inlay parameters.

You are NOT a woodworker! YOU’RE AN ARTIST!! Man I hope to achieve this level of artistry one day.

Thank you so much for the kind words!
That’s so flipping sick!! I thought that was a cape till you zoomed out when it was done at the end. Then I realized that’s a hand. Lol. So sweet!!!!
😁Thank you!

That's awesome who does ur art work.. Keep it up brother
Thank you! We have an artist on our team.
What type of press do you use and how much clamping force is used for the inlays
What did you end up doing for your pvc spacing? Great work as always!
It is truly fantastic. And how fantastic are all your other works.
P.S. What wood is that yellow in color?
Thank you! It is osage orange.
Nice work, very impressive. Question for you. Is there a reason why you are using what looks like a 1/4”-6mm end mill to remove the inlay?
thank you! Is there a reason why you are using what looks like a 1/4”-6mm end mill to remove the inlay? - less chance of getting chipped.

Thank you! I have spent three weeks(working time) on this project from the start to the final board.
what software do you use for CNC?!
amazing work btw!!
Another fine inlay by the master. So, what I thought was yellowheart, is actually osage orange?
Thank you! That is correct. It is osage orange.

Wary nice what is yelow wood or how you paint it in deep
Can you show your cad workflow?
I am working on a course
Очень интересные ваши работы, с огромным удовольствием смотрю. Подскажите на какую глубину производится фрезеровка, основания и вставки?
спасибо! глубина паза 6 мм вставки 7,5мм
what kinda wood do you use do get those nice contrasts?
Круто, а сколько времени ушло?
Do you design your own vector files? Do you sell them?

I would have a heart attack from the stress. Any power failure or hickup and the project is firewood.
Oh yeah, I had those situations multiple times, but i found a way to fix or continue to work even after the power was off.
How does it cost
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I take it
Подскажите какими фрезами пользуетесь.И в какой программе пишите УП.
фрезы в описани, программ v carve pro
Спасибо
What does a board like that cost?
Como e nome desta máquina
How much is it?
Our laser engraver product is really great, but need your help, Spider M1
