    I've had my stealth black 350 for just over a week now. What a lovely bike, and I can honestly say I love everything about it and the way it rides!
    Thanks for uploading the videos. Excellent content, and it's ones like these that influenced my purchase quite a lot, as I've hardly seen any negative reviews on any other channels either!

    I scored my Chrome Bronze 350 about 2 months ago and have done just over 900kms and have been following your advice on running in. I changed the oil and filter at 600kms with no issues at all. I've done some small mods - touring seat is great....really comfortable. The original seat I think is comfortable but the touring seat takes the edge off the bumps in the road. As others have mentioned, it's great getting an Aussie perspective on the 350, and like you, I live in a country town and it was your reviews that sealed the deal for me to purchase my bike.
    To change the subject a little, I'm really looking forward to seeing more info on the 650 Shotgun.

      great to hear your enjoying the enfield ride experience. im sort of more into the sigles as i like the old world style looks of them. although earlier i did have 2 x 650 interceptors which were great bikes and possibly one of the smoothest rides out there.

    Well done Warro. I am really interested to see what the oil looks like on the next change. Your observations and views are really appreciated, so keep the posting the vid's on the 350 Classic. each time i changed the 350's early or say 500 klm the pan was pretty clean. this time i thought id run this bike to 1000 klm then decided now i will go 1500 might make it a neat 1000 miles or 1600 klm.
      on the front engine bolt i clipped that rare earth magnet to the plug
      the oil itself will no doubt be dirty but im sort of more intered is there metallic rubbish
      i really expected some-one to say -you'll lose your warranty doing this. don't care if i stuff it up -just buy another bike...lol not hard to do plenty at the dealers.
      now the big question is - would i have done that to a new 500 -not that stupid...lol

    Hey Brother. It's been a while. Your vids don't show up in my feed anymore. You got a Chromie? Nice. Please don't take it off road now😂 I just wanted to let ya know I just got my Hitchcock's cam installed and Man did it make a nice difference. Really pulls hard from the midrange. 3rd gear pulls well up to 60 mph. no problem and hitting the freeway at 65-70mph is a breeze. Plus the sound is just exquisit. Revs much easier with no jolting on the way up the clock. Had the dealer install it but wanted to have them see it and maybe recommend it. Plus a guaranty I guess. I know you said you don't want to muck with the bikes anymore but I'll tell ya I think I just made me a J-Series 500 power wise. Cam added 5+ hp to the wheel. It's a real hot rod now.
    Anyways have yourself a Merry Christmas 🎄

      Yep - all the character and reasoning of the original concept (low stroke/plodding/loads of low down torque/fantastic fuel economy/low purchase price & running costs) fun/straightforward ride characteristics do everything bike as long as you don't expect to do loads of motorway ridding - but who wants to do that (not me) - and as you have said - the build quality and all round tactile feel is excellent - just could do with some of your weather !! - although some of the winter/autumn moorland rides where I am in Yorkshire can be fabulous (really enjoy your channel btw)@@ridewithwarro

    Hi Warren, i love your content. I am torn between buying the classic or the interceptor could you give me your opinion on the interceptor? I love the look and maybe the extra power but i am an older rider now and just want to cruise. The interceptor is also alot more expensive. Oh im stuck 😮 want of each and a himalayan but cant afford it 😅. Anyway love your work and i lean towards the classic beacuse there isnt a bad review for them.

    • @ridewithwarro
      @ridewithwarro  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      first off ive had 2 interceptors so know them well. heres the best way to sum it up. if you wanted to get out and do distance runs say 200 klm or more -the interceptor would do it and do it very easy. run over most hills in top gear and handle virtually what you can throw at it.
      on the other hand i think the classic 350 as a single has more appeal and character. will run along at 60 mph but doesnt really like the hills much.
      but for just the feel good ride factor the classic 350 is a very hard bike to beat and always rewards you with its sheer draw power alone
      either bike would be great but i always felt better riding the classic 350
      its easily the pick of the 350 singles

    Please keep the 500 series going - it is likely to turn out to be the best maintenance and tips resource on the web. It really is a pity that other viewers are too lazy to give them a thumbs up. Love the 350 videos too but when I tried out a 350, somehow it didn't seem to fit me as well as the old 500 Classic EFI, so I don't own one (yet?!?).

    • @ridewithwarro

      i never noticed that much difference between them apart from the bit of extra power. now and again i ride the honda grom and i do notice a difference there...lol
      on the thumbs up side. if the info is bad and not worth knowing then i'd see no reason to give a thumbs up BUT if its worth knowing and helpful and no co-opperation -its just total jealousy OR they don't want to hear about it

  • @chrisweeks6973
    @chrisweeks6973 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    The red/chrome's certainly a nice-looking bike, Warro! Regards the apparant lack of interest in the 500 channel, if it were me, I'd leave it up, even if you decide to stop doing any further videos on the subject. Reason for that is that people might buy one and then start looking for hints and tips, as I've done with my recently-bought '05 Moto Guzzi Breva 750. The folks who've put useful tips up now have me as a subscriber.

    Warro, great to see a new clip that isn't a 500 tip! I'm done with those UCE models after buying a new 350 UCE and 500 trials in 2020. You asked for content comments, so here goes: 1. More Vespa please. I bought a new old stock 2021 Sprint 150 and am enjoying it very much for round town rides. Would have loved the 300 like yours, but maintenance looks a real pain on the water cooled models. 2. Interested in the 400 Triumphs, but after watching a gazillion Indian reviews, it looks like quality is not up to scratch and vibes will make using all that 40hp unpleasant. 3. Always keen to see more reborn 350 content. And I'd really like to see the rest of that overnight camping trip series you started!!! 4. Last but not least, very interested in that Honda GB 350, finally released in Oz. May buy one. Clicked on the 'take a test ride' link on the website, but doubt if the dealer will allow it! Indian clips on the whole seem to favour it over the reborns. Wish you were getting one to test! All the best for the season...

    • @ridewithwarro
      @ridewithwarro  ปีที่แล้ว

      1. i must admit the vespa side of the ride is well worth the experience indeed. pretty happy with it and plan to do more clips as i approach the 2,000 klm mark. next year i want to fit a screen and maybe front and rear racks too.
      2.triumph will be interesting and i will either like it or someone will buy a cheap triumph....lol time will tell there but im owned some pretty buzzy bikes like some of the 500's/cb500x's and crf300l plus that little kawasaki klx150 shook a fair bit too. very vibey that one. so i will have a very good idea if its like they say or worse
      3.i expect to upload more on the classic 350 as its my favourite bike but that vespa runs extremely close and way more power too. vespa runs as good as a stock 500 classic maybe quicker.
      4. well i had plans to buy a gb350 and was complaing to the wife about the poor response to my clips. she said no im not buying you a bike for xmas but i will buy you a watch. so not being stupid i settled for a rolex...lol
      next year i can get a bike anytime but i really dont like the colours we have been offered here. both matte black and a blue. i'd have to buy and then re-paint...lol although the gb350 looks ok i still think its a long way in the looks dept behind a classic 350 but who knows it may be a better ride.

    • @andrewgreen6060
      @andrewgreen6060 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for the detailed reply! My thoughts on RE reborn vs Honda GB350 (to be confirmed!!!): 1. RE looks way better, but Honda is not toooo bad a looker. I can live with it. 2. Honda lighter and apparently cruises slightly faster. 3. Lack of dealers apparently is holding back Honda sales in India. But in Oz, if your RE breaks down in the bush, you are on your own; whereas with Honda, help or parts should be not far away.
      But it's mostly the weight that puts me off the RE. Too top heavy, just like the UCE models (and the Interceptor is even worse).
      I really like the look of the Himalayan 450, but it's also going to be too heavy for me. Pity!

      no shortage of honda outlets here and nearest enfield dealer is 500 klm round trip. same too triumph.

      eh.....lol ear wise i gotta go back early next month as they now want to take a larger sample from the same spot. not in a hurry or should i say they weren't as they booked me one month ahead.
      i dont know why they never took a good sample hit to start with. not as if im concerned how my ear looks at 71...
      i couldcare less if they took half of it...lol

    I’m guilty of watching and only sometimes giving a thumbs up ( just being lazy ).Not being up to speed myself as to the importance of this and what it actually does for peoples channels ? I would like to know if there are any forums for Enfield modifications ? Would love to know if anyone has successfully put an engine out of a Himalayan (if possible) into a classic 350.

      never heard of or ever seen that done. if you wanted a bit of extra power you could go cam/exhuast filter mod. not a very big $$ outlay and they say -or the tubers do- the bike runs well

      so my guess is only 80% dislike my efforts...lol and very lucky we are not watching their content as there would be none...lol
      by the way im thinking of having better off road tyres fitted to the triumph so its ready to roll dirt right from pickup. its wheel combo are 17/19
      just not sure which tyres to go for with dirt roads and muddy tracks

      @@ridewithwarro Something like 60/40 Tyre's maybe like 60% town & 40% country.

      @@ruahinesrider yeah i have to look into it as i can have them fitted by the dealer prior to the pick up. i think they would be worth the effort there

    • @ruahinesrider

      @@ridewithwarro They probably come stock with 80/20 like 80% town 20% country & only good for gravel (shingle) roads & be rounded edged.The 60/40 40% country tyre's be alot better for what you do gravel & dirt & Rocky roads & tracks.Go anymore than 60/40 like 60% town 40% country they'll wear down faster on the roads riding in town & to & from the country.
      If they come stock 70% town & 30% country you could try 50/50 which will be sticky on the road & be squared edged for maximum grip but turn in on corners be affected but in a 400cc bike be ok & you'll get use to it.
      Do some research Warro into tyre's like squared edged tyre's versus round edged tyre's & try & find a balance that suits you.
      If you plan to be riding out on the country gravel roads & rough tracks & puddles & mud a square edged tyre be better more grip.If just going to ride in the dry a 60/40 40% country with rounded edged tyre's be the one & won't affect tip into corners on spirited riding on the road but I don't think 🤔 you ride like that.
      The secret is trying to find a balance between town & country riding & trying to get a tyre that might be chunky but not to squared off on the tread for 60% town & 40% country which is a great balance for doing alot off road riding.
      Also find out what tyre's are stock on the Scrambler as they will be designed for mainly road riding duties with a little dry conditions gravel road riding & hard dry dirt & be rounded edged & probably 80% town 20% country.I would look into the 60/40 town & country for you Warro that'll handle most conditions & even mud & puddles & tyre tread will be slightly rounded.You do alot of off roading too so 60/40 be good.
      If you go 50/50 you won't have any problems with grip off road but will feel sticky in the road & can't ride hard out round corners cause bike doesn't tip in as good.I think 🤔 the X400 had alloy rims doesn't it which will make fixing flats etc easier with a mini air compressor you carry on bike.

      gets a lot of attention that bike...i really dont know why. although i did have 2 black/chrome 500's and they really looked the part.
      spoke to the dealer today. triumph x400 may arrive in shops end of month and if not first week in jan.
      i just rang to confirm no mistake and i get the green x400
      i may do a trye upgrade prior to pickup. 17/19 combo
      i need a good tyres for dirt and muddy tracks not sure what to get...in fact no idea as of yet
