Great clip mate! What is the make and model of that drone. Is it the Hover Camera X1 Flying Drone Camera? You just made an excellent advertisement for that drone, and you should be compensated.
thats the unit. i tried 3 times to get one off them to test but they refused each time so i decided to just buy one....lol that was the first and only run i did up that hill and it tracked extremely good. two years back i took a skydio 2 to that same hill but couldn't take the risk flying it as there are powerlines and poles all the way up. this one i took yesterday and it was tracking say 20 feet back and probably 15 feet high. slightly windy conditions too so it flew pretty good
or a $20 drone...lol but it did perform alright so i will be keen to take it out and try it on several rides in different modes. overall a good run first time out and i got to bring it back home too...lol
i plan to use it in quite a few upcoming clips as its easy to use and get in the air quickly. looks more like a cheap toy but performs pretty good. tracks fine too. there are a few rough sections on that track and a year or so back both sides were flanked by pine trees. they have now been cut out and its open again to ride/drive through.
I've got family in Australia for close to 50 years and those clowns love the city life. I love the outback and I never got the opportunity to go to Australia, talk about irony. I've only recently come across your channel and have recognised you post some interesting and enjoyable content, quite unlike the regular motor vlogging channels. Subscribed as well and looking forward to envisioning your great home land through your eyes and on your wheels. Happy trails and ride safely brother.
thanks. just waiting now for a new adv camera to arrive and have some nice dirt road rides planned. back in my history you should check out a couple of ride camps i did. nice footage there
that was my first run out with it tracking side on the bike. today i did one with it in hover mode and its in latest clip. i can see an opportunity to use that side of the trick shots.
Nice demo of the new drone, Warro. It follows the bike just as good as it followed you in the woods. Like you say, pull it out of your pocket, take some footage, then move on. Will be looking out for it in future videos.
two years back i imported the skydio 2 from the usa and it cost me aud$3800 landed. i took it to this exact spot and saw those powerlines and poles and thought not today...lol and took it back home. this one ran it very easy and i was really surprised how well it tracked as its really a pretty steep hill. i think 25 kph is the max it will track at but it does 6 other modes too so i will try them out in upcoming clips. all the best.
Cool beans Warrior. I cannot fathom weve reached the age where your personal drone follows you like a security system. Like a thug with a base ball bat. To watch yourself is a bonus because one never really knows how they look riding. To take the classic 350 trail riding as you do and knowing my Himalayan has only seen maybe 5 miles of gravel makes me envious in a good way. You got it going on. Ride Safe.
bit of a rough track that one with some very deep ruts thrown in too. ive been up there on several bikes so have a bit of an idea whats going on. ive had a few pretty good drones including the skydio 2 and this sort of had me laughing a bit as its looks more like a kids toy. but it runs pretty good-bit loud but that can be cancelled in the audio setting but very fast to pull out of your jacket and get it airborn within 30 seconds . impossible to do with the other drones with controller/gps /starting up recording etc. this is virtually fully auto. hope to get some good footage with it
thanks. interesting thats for sure and tracks pretty good too. hopefully the weather will clear soon and i can get out and try it out in other various modes. all the best!
much easier to pull up and get a shot compared to my DJI. in fact i think i could do the shot without getting off the bike at all. plan to try that later when im on one of those lonely outback dirt tracks
Hey Warro, I am back watching, just got a new R knee so I have the time now. Operated yesterday afternoon, back on the bike in six months ? In oktober or november we coming to OZ. Keep up the great work, love your video's.
yeah i tried to get one from them...in fact i asked 3 times but in the end poor old warro had to pay the $600...lol not that it matters that much. so far so good. at least if i find any issues i won't have to crawl for forgiveness...lol i will tell it exactly how i see it! no way it will replace a DJI drone but i can see some advantages -good tracking and disadvange ...way overpriced...lol
@@ridewithwarro Just watched a video about NEC Bike show in UK & the Scrambler 400x was most popular bike there.Even a 7footer was looking at it don't know why HIS knees be touching the bars🤣 HE should of been looking at the Tiger 🐅 900-1200 at least😁😆😂🤣.
That’s a cool toy😉😂😂⭐️ Does the job & you can’t beat that 👍 Don’t know when you filmed this but man oh man, the weather down south here in Melbourne has been utter crap. Lucky for me I still can’t ride yet but soon I will be and it better get better 🤦♂️
yeah i too feel its more a toy than a drone...lol i only shoot in 1080p and it appears ok to me but some say its better footage in the 2.7k mode. i checked it out on my big screen tv and it looked ok there. thats on an 85" screen too. so i dont know why they say 1080p is ok only for phones. i did the clip yesterday afternoon and on the way back home and im only 10 minutes from this area i shot the clip it started to rain. its now been raining ever since and according to the weather report its in for a few days too
nice and peaceful there. i didn't see any-one at all. during my run through that locality. next time i will try to add audio from the exhaust to the drone shot
Nice video! I just got myself a Signal Desert Sand colour and is planning to use my DJI drone to film myself. I think we can record the sounds using a Go Pro or similar devices and match that with the drone footage. It would definitely make these videos much more enjoyable to watch and listen to 🤣
yeah im just sorting this out but it can record via phone and add to the video clip. dji would track faster than this but its pretty involved. best drone i used for tracking was the skydio 2 but seeing it cost me $3800 one has to have the guts to send it up and if something goes wrong...party over...lol
@@ridewithwarro thanks a lot for the clear answer and response. I have a dji mini Pro 3 and just talked to dji support which confirmed that tracking bicycles and motorcycle isnt really working atm (for 3 and 4 series) . Then found your Video 🙏 your reply helps me to stay calm 😆
@@mikeontour_official this works well on walking and avoiding stuff and probably better than my mini pro 4. tracking is best in fully open country and max speed is 25 kph. in shadows not too good and will lose its bearing...lol but saying that. just take it out of your bag and its in the air and recording in 30 seconds. so on that side impossible to beat. best drone to track bikes is easily the skydio which i had but at $3000 too much pressure and too much money...lol
@@ridewithwarro always wanted a skydio but the they stopped consumer sells. Hmm thanks for your detailed response. Probably the 5 Mini pro will be better. I guess the problem for my 3 Mini pro is also it's optimized for boats, vehicles and human. At least mine detects me on the bike as human. Which doesn't work by Definition.
yeah id say if it was say usd$200 or roughly aud$300 it would be a good fun drone to play with. plus open the door to sell heaps of new drone buyers for xmas gifts. battery can be used pretty quick in a long fly mode like this clip but in the pre-program bursts it gets a fair few flights. pocket convenience and easy to fly i think are its key points.
definately cheaper than a DJI drone thats for sure. much easier to use too and the picture quality appears pretty good. it is a bit overpriced for what it is but not much one can do about the pricing side of things.

I'm impressed with the drone, that road looks tricky but the Enfield managed it no problem.

great..all the best in the knee dept too. plan to do a few rides once weather clears plus im working on that classic 500 series on the other channel
That was awesome 👌. One of the neatest drones I've seen. Great bit of off roading on that RE Scrambler too.
my thoughts are its always good to have at least one person look at my clips...lol good to hear you liked it!
Great bit of kit Warro, watched the wiltshire man demonstrate the same drone the other day, think they gave it to him for nothing.
