A common installation height is around 1.5 meters, allowing for an approximate 6.5-meter detection range in front. This range is sufficient for most situations.
And with the eMotion, you have the flexibility to mount it either upwards or downwards, depending on your cabling needs. However, it's important to ensure that the front side of the device is oriented towards the area where people are moving to achieve optimal coverage.
